Forever

Forever:

AU & OOC. Pairings : Inu/Kag & others. A girl will break all the boundaries to be with the man she loves.

Disclaimer : Inuyasha doesn't belong to me, it belongs to Rumiko Takahashi!

Hi! Thanks for coming to read my story! This is my first, so I really need help with my writing. If you have
any comments or suggestions, please review, or you can email me at sakurachanmlt@aol.com.

This story is in an Alternate Universe (AU), so it's not gonna follow the Inuyasha storyline. Sorry if you
don't like that. Please don't flame me about it. Kagome, Inuyasha and the others are gonna be out of
character (OOC), so they won't act like they normally do. This story is also rated R for a reason. It WILL
contain adult themes, so if that offends you, or you're too young to read this, the click the back button now.

Enough of my ranting, hope you enjoy the story!!!

Chapter 1 :

Her POV

The school bus swerved back and forth on the road, effectively spilling the juice I was holding.
'What a great way to start the first day of school,' I thought angrily, brushing the juice from my now soiled
skirt. I hastily finished off the last of it, and made my way to the front of the bus. As I placed the bottle in
the trash bag, the bus screeched to a halt, throwing me forward.

My face burning red with embarrassment, I headed back to my seat, hearing people's whispered
comments : "What a klutz! ... Look at that stain on her skirt ... She's gothic, don't look at her ..." My day
couldn't get any worse. Angrily, I focused my attention on the trees flashing by the window.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" a masculine voquesquestioned. Damn. Why does he have to sit by me?
There's other seats.

"There's other seats." I look up at him. His shirt is pressed, his pants immaculate. He's even got
on a tie. Who wears that to school these days? His hair is white and his eyes golden. What are those
things on the top of his head? Are thers? rs?

"I'd be pleased if you'd let me sit here." He grins. What is his problem? "Please." He sounds like
he wants to.

"Whatever." I move my bag and he sits.

"Thanks, I'm Inuyasha, the new drama teacher." Since when do teachers ride the bus?

㺼&60;      He sticks out his hand for me to shake. I ignore him. "What's your name?" he questions. I guess
he wants to make conversation. I look out the window, and continue to ignore him. "What's your name?"
he asks again. Some people never learn...

His POV

This is way too embarrassing. I watch as the bus screeches to a halt in front of me. Teacher's
shouldn't have to ride the bus. I guess that's what happens when you don't have any money.

I board the bus, noticing a girl dressed all in black heading towards her seat. I follow her, and ask
her if I can sit by her. She looks up at me, and I have to hold in a gasp ...

Her skirt and shirt are the color of midnight, and there's a spiked collar around her neck.
Chocolate brown eyes lined in black, lips the same color. Shiny hair, of a similar hue. Skin so pale it's
almost white. So beautiful ...

" There's other seats," she says, looking annoyed. I want to sit by her, so I persist.

" I'd be pleased if you let me sit here. Please." I grin at her.

"Whatever." She moves her bag, and I sit.

I thank her and proceed to introduce myself, " I'm Inuyasha, the new drama teacher." Okay, now
she looks confused. I guess no one's ever seen a teacher ride the bus. Never heard of it myself, actually. I
stick out my hand for her toke ake and she ignores me.

Oh well. I'll try again. " What's your name?" Still, she looks out the window, and pretends I'm not
there. "What's your name?" I try once more, hoping for an answer. She continues ignoring me. I sigh and
give up.

The silence between us is uncomfortable. After what seems like hours, though it's been minutes, I
try, once again, to start a conversation. " Please tell me what your name is." I ask for the third time.

            Uh-oh. Now she looks mad.

" I do not want to talk to you, so quit trying to start a conversation." Her voice is icy, no hint of
warmth.

" Oh. Sorry." I mutter. I guess I'll keep my mouth shut from now on.

Finally, the school comes into view and the bus lurches to a stop, throwing everyone forward.
Students are milling about, and teachers are shouting at them to behave. As I exit the bus, I wonder what
the day will hold for me.
