Kagome paced back and forth around Kaede's hut. Where was Inuyasha? It was the night of the new moon and no one could find him. Oh where was he? she would never admited it but she worried about him when he left. Not just on new moon nights but anytime he wasn't near her she worried.

Kagome sat down next to the door of Kaede's hut and closed her eyes. she listen to sounds of nightlife. Mostly hooting owls and blowing wind but what she missed was the closing footsteps.

"Kagome! Whatcha doing?" the little kitsune asked

Kagome's heart jumped a couple a beats at the sound of the young kitsune's voice but she remained calm.

"Shippo! I'm waiting for Inuyasha." she replied with a smile.

"Well why didn't you say so. I know where he is." the kit stated proudly

"Where is he, Shippo?" she asked

"He is at the springs. He asked me to come and get you. Hurry up, Kagome youknow inuyasha doesn't like to wait." the kitsune replied

Kagome gave Shippo her thanks and ran towards he springs. She couldn't wait to see Inuyasha. But Why, she wondered, didn't he tell her? Why did he go to the springs? probably to relax she told herself. This week has been a hard one for him. so many demons and Naraku to dwithwith almost everynight this week. No wonder he wanted to be by himself. But then why would he want to see her now? At thringrings no less?
