I do not own InuYasha, nor make money from this story.
A Fresh Start
Disclaimer: This will be the only time for this story, If I own anything, it is the computer I am using to write this story. If I owned InuYasha so much would be different, but alas I do not. SO DON'T SUE ME!!!!
Notes: There is an original character in this story, Kyoto. She is the product of an autheress by the same name. This autheress, Kyoto, is allowing me to use her character in my story because I asked. Characters may be OOC at times, do not fret. It has to do with a theory about messing with the past to change the future.

Chapter 1: Pain and the Wish
Pain. Unbearable pain was all he felt. Everyone was dead. Kagome; the miko from the future, Kikyou’s (sp?) reincarnation. Kyoto; InuYasha’s half sister, half youkai and half sorceress and a true beauty who became Miroku’s mate. Miroku; a perverted monk cursed by Naraku. Sesshomaru; the older brother of InuYasha and Kyoto who changed from cold and evil to mild and partially open after mating with Sango. Sango; youkai exterminator Kag Kagome’s surrogate sister before mating with Sesshomaru. They were all dead, buried around the ancient tree that InuYasha was bound to for 50 years.
InuYasha made sure they were buried with their mates’ holding each other’s hand. It was the least he could do. Sesshomaru had finally accepted InuYasha as his brother and Kyoto as his sister. Sango had gotten Sesshomaru to open up, become loving and even asked Sango if she would be willing to bare his pups. The thought of Sesshomaru wanting pups gave InuYasha a smile as he looked at their graves.
Kagome had become InuYasha’s mate after so long; he did not remember how long they had searched for the Shikon no Tama. Kagome was a month pregnant when she died. Pregnant with twins. InuYasha tried to save her but Naraku had succeeded in striking her down in the battle.
Miroku and Kyoto, both were dear to InuYasha. Kyoto, the sister he never knew and one that he loved greatly. Miroku, the Buddhist monk and a hentai. Both fell in love with each other and mated. Though the union was not liked at first, but Kyoto showed everyone a side of Miroku they had never seen. One that held great love, honor and loyalty to the one he would choose to be his wife. The only difference was that instead of a wife, he got a hanyou mate: Kyoto. Miroku’s perverted behavior did not diminish; it was just completely and totally focused on Kyoto, his mate. Kyoto herself did not mind his perverted behavior when it was focused on her, she actually felt flattered that she was the only one in his mind. If anything, that behavior excited her when in private with him.
Now there was a problem. InuYasha was alone, completely and utterly alone, his mate, future child, sisters, brothers, mother, father; all gone. Naraku was dead, but only after InuYasha transformed into his full youkai self. He was just glad that for a change he had complete control over his actions. He remembered why he changed, what he did and how he did it. InuYasha remembered Naraku’s severed hea his his right hand, crushing it while his left was thrust, claws first, into his eyes and strait into his brain. He remembered the horrified look on the evil monster’s face when InuYasha’s claws came down upon him. The smell of the perverse creature’s blood was horrid, yet pleasing. He got to kill a life that had caused more pain, suffering and death in just a few years at the most than the person Kagome called ‘Adolf Hitler’ in his ‘3rd Reich’.
Looking at the necklace he wore, InuYasha stared at the Shikon no Tama. This jewel is the reason all this has happened. Because Naraku wanted it, he needed it corrupted. He wanted the corruption so great that he turned friends against each other, siblings fighting to the death and couples to betrayal. Nothing good has come from this jewel, but there might be a way to fix all this. InuYasha gripped the gem in both hands, holding it close while thinking about one thing, a single wish that would change what happened in his time, the death, destruction, betrayal and more.
I wish to go back to when Kikyou and I first met so I can change everything, yet have everyone except me forget all of this.
The jewel suddenly faded in a pink flash that emanated out from InuYasha’s closed hands. The light continued to grow for a time that seamed to be an eternity to the hanyou.
