The next day Inuyasha was knocking on their door before dawn to make sure they were up and getting ready. After informing them that they would be eating breakfast after they had started out on the trail, he headed back toward his house to finished getting his own things together.

Once they had made sure they had gathered up all of their belongings and packed them away in their saddle bags, Bankotsu handed over his reigns and told Jakotsu to meet him with the others. He had seen something that had him worried but he didn't want him to panic.

Making his way over to a man that was currently adjusting his saddle away from the others, Bankotsu waited until he noticed his presence before speaking. "I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are just here to make some money.

"If so, that's fine and you won't have to worry about me. But if you endanger anyone else, you won't get a third chance," Bankotsu warned before turning around and heading toward where Jakotsu was still leading the horses. Behind him, Renkotsu could only watch him leave in stunned silence for a few moments before it finally dawned on him who it was.

Making a mental note to stay away from him during the trip, Renkotsu turned back to the task at hand. Ignoring Jakotsu's questioning look, Bankotsu took back his reigns and led the way over to the others. They arrived just as Sesshoumaru began speaking.

"We will be leaving in five minutes. Have your things ready to go or they will be left behind. We will stop for breakfast in a few hours to celebrate the start of the drive," Sesshoumaru informed them before turning back to help fill up the wagon.
