Prompt Summary: Jakotsu thinks of a way to help pass the time.
By the time they had finished their lunch, having waited until they had finished their work for the day so they wouldn't waste what little time they had before the storm, the two of them found themselves rather bored. At least when they were outside working, they were able to keep themselves busy enough that they didn't notice the passing time.
But now, stuck in the barn with just the two of them, it felt as though each second too an hour to pass. "I should have thought to ask Inuyasha if he had any cards. Strip poker is a great way to pass the time," Jakotsu teased, thoroughly confusing Bankotsu.
"Strip poker? What in the world is that?"
"It's a game played by the girls in saloons with their clients. Basically you play rounds of poker and each hand you lose you have to take off a piece of clothing until you are down to your undergarments," Jakotsu explained, remembering how the girls had told him they usually got bigger tips when they were willing to give the men a bit of a show before getting down to business.
"How would that work with two men? Long johns aren't exactly known for being provocative," Bankotsu pointed out causing Jakotsu to laugh.
"No they really aren't are they? They can be cute though, especially when the buttons come undone in the back. But the whole, 'it's improper to be completely in the buff' idea is just for women. Men can be as naked as the day they were born and nobody would care as long as it wasn't around the womenfolk. I might wish I was a woman, but it doesn't mean I am limited as they are," Jakotsu explained with a smile.
"I suppose that makes sense, but perhaps it is good that we do not have a deck of cards. I can only see your game leading to one thing and, as you said, I am not ready for that step yet. No point in getting ourselves all worked up when there would be no way to relieve our tension," Bankotsu insisted, causing Jakotsu to chuckle.
"Oh there is a way to relieve our tension, as you put it, and it wouldn't even require us going to the next step. Perhaps it would even be a good way to get you more comfortable for that step," Jakotsu realized with a smirk and having no idea what he was referring to, Bankotsu just sat there staring at him in silence.
"It's usually done by yourself, but like they say, 'two's company'."
