A Royal Pain

When Inuyasha got back to the village he was immediately questioned by his wife and friends on what happened at the hot springs with Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha really didn’t know what to say. He was still in shock considering he was intimate with his brother not once, but twice. Kagome would never understand and so he just gave them the basics.

“Sesshoumaru wants me back at the castle. In demon years I am still considered a child and he is responsible for me.”

Kagome felt like she was going to have heart failure. What was going to happen to their relationship? She had everything vested into mating her true love and now he was saying he was going to be forced to go back with Sesshoumaru.

“What about your duties here Inuyasha? I thought we were going to be a family.”

Inuyasha looked at the ashen face of his wife.

“You and the others will come with me if you wish to stay with me. You are my pack and I will fight tooth and nail for you all to come with me if that is what you desire.”

Miroku looked at Sango. They had worked hard to make this village their home until the village of demon slayers was rebuilt. Really to all the humans, Kaede’s village was a safe haven and had become like home.

“Inuyasha, we are settled here and you are always welcome to come here, but we cannot just up and leave. Sango and I are finishing the rebuilding of her village. She is pregnant again and I just do not feel safe with the idea we will be living in a demon filled castle.’
“Sesshoumaru is your elder brother and he has every right to demand that you return home. It would be best if only you and Kagome went. Thing is you are going to have to consider her feelings about all this too.”

Inuyasha gave Kagome a pleading look.

“I love you Kagome, but I have to go. I don’t have a choice in this. Please say you will come with me.”

Kagome looked at the ground and tears welled up in her eyes. They had only been married a few months and she was still learning how to be useful in this village. Like Sango and Miroku this place was home and she didn’t want to leave. Still, she loved Inuyasha and would follow him if this is what he had to do.

“I will go with you. What else am I supposed to do? I gave up my family from my time and everything to be here with you Inuyasha. I guess giving up my freedom here will just be another thing that I must sacrifice.”

Inuyasha felt very bad about this and perhaps it would have been better if Kagome had stayed on the other side of the well. Things were much different here than what she was used to and it was going to be an even harder transition for Kagome to have to leave her dearest friends.

“You don’t have to go with me Kagome. If you would rather stay here I will not make you come with me if you don’t want to go.”

Kagome turned to look at her husband wishing he still had those beads on him since she really wanted to sit him right now.

“What do you mean I don’t have to go with you? I am your wife or did you forget that? Sometimes I don’t understand you at all Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha frowned at Kagome and was about to start another argument until Miroku and Sango started to leave.

“All they ever do is fight lately.”

Sango stated as Miroku shook his head.

“It is their normal pattern again so why mess with it? Either way it is Sesshoumaru who will have to deal with the two of them and perhaps that is a good thing.”

Kagome and Inuyasha watched their friends walk away. It was true. Lately all they did was fight and part of that was because of Inuyasha’s little problem which should be fixed by now.

“Kagome all I am trying to do is do what is right for you and me. In these times I cannot always just insult my brother. He is a Lord and so am I. I am going to be training to be a Lord although I think it sucks, but I can’t shirk my responsibilities forever.”

Kagome sighed.

“Inuyasha, I understand that you have obligations to your brother. I just didn’t think he would come and separate us from our friends. We see them as family and it is difficult to just up and leave. I like being around Sango’s babies and she is like a big sister to me. I know you feel the same way, it is just bad timing I guess.’
“I kind of hoped that it would be you and me having kids here in the village like Sango and Miroku. I know that you want that too. This is just so frustrating.”

Inuyasha held his wife.

“It will be ok Kagome. If things get too weird I promise I will take you back here and my brother can just go to hell. Still, I gotta give my brother a chance. I am his family and it has been too long since I was treated like family by him.”

Kagome sighed as she leaned into her husband. Inuyasha was a Lord and she knew that from Mioga. In reality though, Inuyasha was treated as a commoner by most people, but that had been Sesshoumaru’s fault since the man did not seem to care about his little brother. Now all of a sudden it was like Sesshoumaru had changed and although it was a good change she still could not forget that he was the man that tried to kill her and Inuyasha.

“What if Sesshoumaru reverts back and tries to kill us again?”

Inuyasha thought about this. If Sesshoumaru was going to kill them then why would he help Inuyasha with his little problem?

“Sesshoumaru has changed a lot Kagome. I think it is time we give him a chance. There are some things though you must understand.’
“Sesshoumaru will have rights to take liberties with both of us if he so chooses. As the heir to my Father’s Kingdom we will have to subjugate ourselves to him which means we can’t just mouth off to him. We are going to have to do what he says even if we don’t like it.’
“I am prepared to do this even though part of me hates the idea of being under my brother’s thumb. Still, this is my home too and I promise if Sesshoumaru demands something unreasonable than I will challenge him on such things.”

Inuyasha took Kagome by the hand and had her sit in their little hut together while he explained how things would work at the castle and the duties they may have to perform which shocked Kagome a bit, but she knew that in these times things were much different. Incest was not uncommon and sharing mates was also allowed. Kagome wasn’t sure she wanted to do that, but she loved Inuyasha and wanted to stay by his side.

“Inuyasha, before we go I want us to do one thing. I want you to take my virginity. Do you think we can try again?”

Inuyasha smiled and nodded.

“Tonight we will try again and this time I think I can do what is needed so don’t worry ok?”

Kagome nodded biting her lip a bit. Inuyasha pulled her into his arms and kissed Kagome like there was no tomorrow.

Sesshoumaru was to go to the human village tomorrow evening and demand from Sango his Lord’s bath. It in fact was not much to ask for, but he had some doubts. A Lord’s bath indicated that all areas would be cleaned and certain privileges were given that one would normally receive from one’s mate. Since Sesshoumaru had no mate he could demand that his servants gave him what he desired, but he wondered if Sango really knew what that meant.

Out of all the humans in Inuyasha’s pack, Sango was the only one that intrigued him since she was indeed the strongest female in that village. Honestly she did owe him the most out of all of Inuyasha’s strange pack.

The only drawback to his plans was that Sesshoumaru had no real physical attraction to the demon slayer. For a human she was beautiful, but Sesshoumaru had no real interest in humans sexually. In fact if truth be known Sesshoumaru preferred to only have sexual relations with demons male or female. However, he had never tried sex with a human before other than possibly with his little brother who of course was a hanyou and therefore sex with him while he was human was acceptable.

Inuyasha was a breath taking beauty in both demon and human forms. It would be hard for any man to resist Inuyasha and his charms for long if they could just get past that foul mouth.

Sesshoumaru smirked a bit to himself. He was very pleased that his little brother would be living with him soon. There he would show Inuyasha the pleasures of male on male sex as it should be done. Their little tryst was just a small concession in regards to what he would do to that young little attractive body.

In some ways Sesshoumaru was feeling rather anxious about getting all of his plans set in motion. There were the Panther demons who still owed him for bringing them to life although it had been just a means to end a lifelong battle against the cat demons. Still they owed him, but he wasn’t ready to collect from them just yet. They could wait since like him they had several years of life ahead of them. Besides, dealing with cats and their smells was not something Sesshoumaru really wanted to do.

All of Inuyasha’s pack owed him many times over, but after being intimate with his little brother, Sesshoumaru was much more interested in finding ways to keep Inuyasha in his bed. The only problem with that was Inuyasha’s wife Kagome. Unfortunately he would have to share Inuyasha with Kagome and Sesshoumaru wasn’t certain he wanted to deal with the human woman child. She was almost too high strung and although beautiful, Sesshoumaru did not want to deal with Kagome. The girl annoyed the hell out of him and her voice alone grated on his nerves.

Sesshoumaru figured Kagome would train as a Lady of the household. It would keep her busy and out of his way. The more Kagome had to do at the castle the less likely she would be a thorn in his side. Kagome also had miko powers and healing abilities. Sesshoumaru was certain that his demon healers would train her as well. In that Kagome would be a valuable asset to his home.

If he did everything according to his plans he would have Inuyasha at his side and as soon as his human wife died Sesshoumaru planned to claim Inuyasha as his mate. Sesshoumaru even had a spell from all the scrolls he kept that could allow a hanyou to give birth to his offspring.

Of course Inuyasha would have a fit about being able to produce offspring, but it was the only way to keep their species alive and strong. Inuyasha wouldn’t have a choice in the matter. He would do as he was told and it was really for the best that Inuyasha did not get too used to having his wife around. Kagome would be like his Mother and remain at the castle while the men did what males do as in protecting their home and going off to battle.

Indeed Sesshoumaru would have his little hanyou brother wrapped around his little finger if he did everything according to plan. Sesshoumaru was practically bursting with excitement. His plans would go perfectly and if they did not he would easily improvise making Inuyasha see him as a good mate should.

Sango and Miroku watched their children play until night fell upon them. It was time to bring the little ones back inside.

Miroku and Sango had discussed the Lord’s bath that she would be giving Sesshoumaru. Miroku tried not to act too excited, but he couldn’t wait to see Sesshoumaru naked again. Perhaps the demon Lord would allow him to assist in the bath.

Sango knew her husband was thrilled with the idea of giving Sesshoumaru a Lord’s bath, but Sango was unsure how she felt about it. Her Father had explained much to her as she was growing up so this wasn’t that hard to do it was just trying to insure she did not make a mistake. Sango knew enough about demons and Lords to know what she must do, but she hated doing it.

Kagome would never understand and it was hard for Sango to explain things to a girl who didn’t know much about the Feudal Era. Her dear friend would have to sacrifice more when she went with Inuyasha to Lord Sesshoumaru’s castle. That alone would be a difficult thing for someone who was used to having the freedoms that Kagome had.

Sango was at least happy to know she had a choice in the matter of where she would live or at least hopeful that Sesshoumaru would allow them to stay in the village. If he were to mention them going with Inuyasha than she could probably persuade the demon Lord that Rin would be safer if they did stay in the village. That was if Rin was not going to be forced to go with Inuyasha also.

There were so many questions Sango had, but all the answers lay with Lord Sesshoumaru and one could not just tell Sesshoumaru to go away. Lords could do what they wanted and with Sesshoumaru being a powerful dog demon Sango knew for a fact she would never be able to defeat him. He was a diayouki and Sango was just glad that Sesshoumaru was asking for something simple.

Kagome and Inuyasha were also to come to witness the Lord’s bath. It would be very crowded in the hot springs with everyone there and Sesshoumaru would be the one to decide who would stay and who would go. Most likely it would be just her and Lord Sesshoumaru. It would make Sango feel better if it was just her doing the deed. At least that was how Sango felt about this whole messed up situation.
