Chapter 9
Swimming he saw his brother’s body in the casket of glass being carried to Kagomesui’s home.
His Father looked angry, but a promise was a promise.
“But I killed her.”
Kagomesui corrected Sesshoumeru.
“No, you killed a clay version of her. She was already dead. You have failed and therefore your promise will be kept. Do not worry, as evil as I am I would not begrudge you visiting privileges. You can also have your annoying imp back. Your Father has given me a better servant in his place.”
Father watched as his son was placed in a garden of flowers and demonic mulch. It was too much. He fled from the place and Sesshoumeru swore he would somehow get his brother back for his Father.
“Tell me Kagomesui what more can I do to get my brother back from you?”
Kagomesui knew that Sesshoumeru was too proud to admit to the truth. He cared more for his brother then he would admit to.
“You can have him back if you can break the spell. I will give you five chances to break it. If you fail I will take your soul this time. Do you wish to make another deal?”
Sesshoumeru knew he was taking a great risk, but this was for his Father. Until Meryasha was freed from the spell Father would not be well again.
“Very well, but I do not know where I will find someone who loves him. The brat is a pain in the ass and not worth all this trouble.”
Kagomesui did a spell and placed it on Sesshoumeru.
“Your heart will become colder if you fail and you will soon die. Then I will place your gorgeous body next to my new decoration and you will remain with me forever.”
Sesshoumeru nodded and left.
