Chapter 9

The glowing light engulfed him and he saw pictures dancing in front of him. “These must be memoeries of my past life” he thought to himself. Then he saw her. He stood up and started to walk toward her. She turned around and looked at him and then started to run away from him. “Kagome why are you leaving me?” All he heard was his name coming out of her mouth. Then as quickly as it had started the light and the image of the wonderful woman were gone. He looked around the room and then sat down in his chair.

“I will not let you get away this time Kagome” “ Sesshomaru are you in there?” came a womans voice. Then came a knock on the door. He stood up and greeted the woman. “Brandy how was your trip my dear?” Before she could answer a person stepped out from behind her.

“ Who are you?” asked Sesshomaru.

“ Well I have something to tell you, while I was in Paris I ran into my old flame Jean Paul and well Sesshomaru I came to tell you that it’s over between you and I and here is your ring back.” Sesshomaru just stood there shocked but feeling a little bit pleased that she did the breaking up and not him.

“ Well I’m sorry that it came to this but farewell and good luck with your modeling.”

She stood there also shocked cause she thought that he was going to fight for her. She turned on her heels and ran out of the room crying. Jean Paul at her heels. Sesshomaru closed the door and went back to his desk and gathered his papers and made a call and then he himself was headed out. He was going to get Kagome and keep her forever this time.

After Kagome come home from her date with Inuyasha it was a little past midnight. She took her heels off and then she noticed a strange pair of shoes at the door. “Gramps must have bought a new pair of shoes today” she thought to herself. She then headed toward the kitchen because she knew her mother would be up and worried about her. She has been that way ever since Kagome can remember.

As she was getting closer to the kitchen she could hear her mother’s voice and a voice of a man. “ I wonder who that is? She then turned around and looked back toward the door and was reminded of the shoes that were laying next it. She marched forward, now her curiosity was starting to get the better of her. “Who the hell is here this late at night?” As she got closer the voice seemed so familiar to her. As she started to open the door; she heard the male call her name. It was as if the world was frozen. She knew him, this voice that would call her name ever so gentle in the midnight moonlight.
