Sesshomaru Chooses

Chapter 9

It had been two days since Diablo had come and said that he was staying in the castle. Sara was walking down the hall way when she saw Diablo standing against the wall with his eyes closed and arms crossed. “You haven’t told him yet have you” he asked her why still leaning against the wall. “Excuse me” she said stopping, Diablo opened his eyes and looked at her “Saisho you haven’t told him how you feel yet have you” he said. “I am sorry but I do not wish to discuss about that” she told him.

Diablo leaned of the wall and walked towards Sara and looked into her eyes with a serious face. Sara gulped she felt very nervous with him so close to her, “hmm, well I guess you hurry up and do it cay” he said in a chirpy voice. Diablo was now acting childish than he was just before, he then walked of. Sara was very confused about the way he acted it seemed rather scary to her anyway.

Saisho was coming round a corner when a skipping Diablo bumped into him “hey watch it next time” Saisho said. “My you are defiantly not a morning person now are you” Diablo said with a big smile on his face. Saisho never got this guy he was always so happy and he would make comments which would drive him bananas. He then felt a hand on his forehead which brought him back from his thoughts.

Diablo’s face was right next to Saisho’s and his hand was still on Saisho’s forehead. “Yeap just what I thought you have the no fun disease” Diablo said. He stood back up straight “that is a very common disease for some demons” he said with his hand on his chin. “Don’t worry milord I have the best cure”, “cure” Saisho was really worried now. “Why the best medicine is tickling” Diablo said and he caught Saisho of guard and pushed him to the ground and got on top of him and started to tickle him.

Saisho was having a hard time trying to get Diablo of him and he was trying so hard not to laugh. It was taking all his will power “come on I can tell you want to laugh” Diablo said still tickling him. Some of the servants saw the scene and just kept walking thinking that they had just seen a bizarre moment. Saisho was getting to breaking point and it snapped he started laughing and couldn’t stop. It had been the first time Saisho had ever actually laughed in his whole life even if he was just being tickled.

When Diablo saw that Saisho couldn’t take anymore he stopped and got of him and just sat on the side. He looked at Saisho lying on the ground trying to catch his breath from all that laughing. Saisho had his eyes closed and was still breathing rather hard, his hands where on his stomach. Diablo just looked at him and couldn’t believe how beautiful he looked just lying their. He had never really noticed it until now, it was so mesmerizing that he started to lean his head down closer to Saisho’s.

Saisho still had his eyes closed and didn’t notice that Diablo’s face was getting closer to him. Their lips where only inches apart and then it happened Diablo and locked his lips with Saisho’s. When Saisho felt something warm on his mouth he opened his eyes and couldn’t believe it Diablo was actually kissing him.

Diablo pulled away and looked at the shocked boy, it seemed like time it self had just stopped. Their eyes not leaving one another’s, not knowing what to do or even say after such a detest moment. When Saisho couldn’t take the silence, he pushed Diablo away and ran of down the hall. ‘Diablo you idiot why the hell did you do that for’ Diablo thought to himself, knowing he had just made a huge mistake.

Saisho was running he didn’t know where and he didn’t care he just kept running where his feet would take him. He ended up stopping outside, “that that” and he punched the wall leaving a big crack in it. “Lord Saisho” he heard a small voice behind him, Saisho looked around and knew who it was already. “Lady Sara”, she couldn’t believe it that was the first time he had said her name even though he put the ‘lady’ before it.

“What do you want” he said not even facing her, “I was wondering if you would like to go on a picnic with me” she asked him. Saisho looked at her “I’m busy ask someone else” he told her and started to walk of. “Why, WHY” she yelled which made Saisho stop in his tracks, “how can you be so cruel, all I want is to spend a little time with you is that so wrong” she said getting upset. “I do not wish to be cruel lady Sara, but falling in love with me is the worst thing to do, you deserve some one better who will love you and look after you, I cannot give you that” and he walked of. ‘He knew that I loved him all along’ she said to herself in her head, Sara fell to her knees and started crying.

Saisho could hear her tears very clearly knowing he had just broken another girls heart. He might not care about woman but hearing them cry after he rejects them makes him feel a bit of guilt in his heart. Besides love was the least of his problems now since he had just been kissed by another guy. Now that was going to haunt him forever he knew that for sure ‘why me’ he thought. Saisho wasn’t even sure how he was going to face Diablo again, maybe he will punch him in the face.

That night every one was sitting up at the dinner table eating, they where all sitting in their seats they sat in every night. Though this time it seemed that the atmosphere had changed and Sesshomaru was wondering why. He could tell their was some tension mostly between Saisho, Sara and Diablo. Their was a feeling in his stomach which was telling him that something had happened between the three during the day. The only way for him to know what was wrong was to ask Saisho himself.

After dinner Sesshomaru had asked Saisho he needed to talk to him in his study. “You wanted to talk to me” Saisho asked his father who was looking out the window. “Did something happen to you today” he asked. “No” of course Sesshomaru knew his son was lying, he turned around to look at Saisho. “Your lying to me Saisho” Sesshomaru said, Saisho just kept quiet he didn’t want his father to know what happened. Especially what happened between him and Diablo that was something he wanted to keep to himself.

“You better tell me Saisho otherwise I will ask Sara or Diablo” he told his son, “what” Saisho was surprised that he knew it was about those two. Of course he shouldn’t really be that surprised after all his father was a great demon. “If you must know father I had rejected Sara which had made her upset and with Diablo we had a bit of a incident, that’s all” Saisho told him. Sesshomaru knew that he was telling the truth about him and Sara but the bit about him and Diablo was a bit of. He allowed his son to go and didn’t bother to ask any more questions at that moment.

Saisho was in his room looking over his balcony, he looked down and saw Diablo just standing their. Diablo had a feeling someone was watching him, he looked up and saw that it was Saisho looking over his balcony at him. Diablo smiled at him and in a quick flash he was on Saisho’s balcony ledge looking straight at him. Saisho was surprised that he stepped back “how, how”, “how did I do that” he asked. Saisho nodded “quite easy really it’s a little trick I’m able to do” he told him.

Diablo sat on the ledge, why Saisho just stood their, between the two their was complete silence. They both wanted to say something but they couldn’t even say a word, someone had to say something. “Diablo there is something I need to ask” Saisho needed to break the ice of silence “why I kissed you” Diablo knew that was Saisho’s question. “Yeah I want to know what made you do such a careless act like that” Saisho asked.

Diablo looked up at the beautiful starry sky “I know there is no excuse about why I did it, I guess the only answer I can give you is that I just wanted to know what it would feel like to kiss you” he said looking back at Saisho. “So that’s why huh” Saisho said looking away, “are you not satisfied with my answer or was it that you wanted me to tell you that I might have fallen in love with you instead” Diablo asked. “Of course not, why would I want you to tell me that you love me your crazy” Saisho said. Diablo hopped down and walked up to him, cupping his chin with his hand. They looked into each others eyes “but that is what you would have liked to hear, that is what many have said to you that they have fallen in love with you but it upsets you that I haven’t said it even if I am a guy” Diablo told him.

Saisho slapped his hand away “your nuts” he said, a smile came up on Diablo’s face and in one quick second he kissed Saisho. Diablo pushed Saisho into his room why still kissing him and then pinned him down on the bed. Diablo parted his face away from Saisho’s “tell me something if I had asked you to allow me to have you for this one night what would you say” he asked Saisho. “What would I say, I would say fuck you” Saisho told him, “so that means yes then” Diablo replied.

Diablo leaned down when they both heard a knock on Saisho’s door, Saisho looked at the door and then looked back up and Diablo was gone. “Hey Saisho are you in their” it was Rihashi “yeah” he said. “Well father wants you to take lady Sara home tomorrow” Rihashi told him, “yeah what ever” he replied.

So the next day Saisho had taken Sara back to her home lands, Sesshomaru knowing that it would never work between her and Saisho. Sara wasn’t happy when she was told that she had to go home. When he returned he had found out that Diablo had left and wouldn’t be back in quite sometime. That truly shocked Saisho, Diablo hadn’t even said goodbye or anything that is what really pissed him of.

He wasn’t sure why he was so shocked and mad about it when truthfully he should be happy that he was gone. “Father where has Diablo gone” he asked Sesshomaru, “I thought you would be happy that he left Saisho” Sesshomaru replied. “Father please can you just tell me where he is” Saisho was getting impatient right now.

“He had told me that he had gone home, which is near the Ucalie beach side” he told his son. “Ucalie beach but that is at least five days away” Saisho said “yes but as Diablo can easily just transport himself it doesn’t take him long, I am sure he had arrived long before you even returned” Sesshomaru told him.

So it would end up taking him five days to get their, would it be worth the long trip. Why was he so desperate to see Diablo, it wasn’t as if he missed him. Then what reason was their, he thought to himself and was now starting to get very confused. He shouldn’t be over reacting over some guy who he had only met for a few days. Though their was just something not quite right with him leaving so suddenly. Was it because of what happened between the two the other night, how was he to answer such a question. ‘Tell me something if I had asked you to allow me to have you for this one night what would you say’ it kept saying in his head.

Was Diablo disappointed that he didn’t give him a precise answer or was their something else. ‘Is Diablo into guys, is that why he asked me that’ Saisho thought to himself. ‘Was he into me and I didn’t even know it’ he thought. So many different thoughts where running through his head which was giving him a headache.

He had decided, he was going to go to Ucalie beach and beat the crap out of Diablo for leaving without even telling him.
