Singing Pt.2
Chapter Nine
Genkai looked at the bow in question, she'd gotten it over fourty years ago from a youkai she had killed. "I can't remember."
"What's all these machines? Is that a karoake machine?"
"Yes, it is. Would you care to try?" Genkai smiled at her. That was one way to test to see what kind of energy the girl had. "Let me set it up, I've had the lastest music installed on it not too long ago." She set the machine up, thinking she'd have a few answers soon.
Kagome flipped through the music she had while she held onto the mic. This was great, the old woman seemed to have a lot of neat things. Her eyes landed on a certain song, one that reminded her a lot of Inuyasha. "This one." Genkai set it up for her, Kagome cleared her throat. Her voice rang out loud and clear.
"I will not make the same mistakes that you did
I will not let myself cause my heart so much misery
I will not break the way you did
You fell so hard
I've learned the hard way to never let it get that far.
Because of you I never stray too far from the sidewalk

"Wow, Kagome you have an awesome voice." Keiko began clapping her hands.
Kagome opened her eyes and blushed when she saw that she had an audience. "Uhh, thanks I guess." She handed the mic back to Genkai. "That was fun."
Genkai watched the girl walk over to Keiko and saw Kurama looking at her with a questioning look. She knew he would want to know what she discovered. What she saw would be kept to herself until she spoke with Koenma.
He watched the girl walk out with Keiko and walked up to Genkai. "Well, what did you learn?"
"Nothing, she's nothing more than an average human."
Kagome walked outside with Keiko seeing some new face, some youkai faces. Her eyes landed on Kuwabara standing next to Yusuke and a female youkai. She was very pretty and had a soft aura, that had to be Yukina.
Keiko propelled her over towards the small group, "I'll introduce you to everyone you haven't met yet."
Yusuke looked up at Kagome. "Oh look its Mighty Mouse. How's it going?"
"Fine, where's my money?"
"Riggghttt, about that." He smiled at her, digging through his pockets. "What do you know I left my wallet in my other pants."
"Sure ya did."
Kuwabara decided to do the introductions, "Yukina, this is Kagome, a friend of me and Keiko's."
The girl extended her hand so Kagome shook it and returned the smile offered. So Kuwabara was in love with a youkai. If he'd been her for four years he'd have to know what she was. What kind of crowd had she gotten herself into?
