See Through
SUMMARY: Sango finally got over her temporally embarrassment when she felt Miroku’s hand pinched her butt. She turned around like the wind with her hand ready *Wap!* Her palm stinging from the impact of the slap on Miroku’s now swelling face, but when she glimpsed up she happened to see Kagome and gasped.
Author's Note: you know the drill people. I don't own Inuyasha or other characters associated with it. Nor, do I own the song used in this continuing saga. Enjoy and review.
CHAPTER 9: SEE THROUGH

The spot light faded slowly now revealing the club goers that were cloaked in darkness early as she watched Sango and Miroku leave the stage. Then Kagome nervously smiled and fidgeted as the stage went totally black as if waiting for her presence. She gave in to the feeling and walked onto the pitch dark stage with a sigh. This prevented the now emerging couple on the vivacious dance floor from distinguishing Kagome and vice versa.
Center stage Kagome, breath. Just breath, it will be okay, she coached herself. The bright blinding light hit her the moment she went to the center of the stage. It faded the surrounding area past the stage. It was now invisible to Kagome. The bright stage lights bathed her in an eerie glow. It made her look like an enchantress coming from the depths of the darkness.
All the ladies if you feel me help me sing it out. I can’t believe I believed everything we had would last. So young and naive of me to think she was from your past. Silly of me to dream of one day…..
Kikyou and Inuyasha stood there like statues as their eyes spied Kagome singing. Inuyasha watched in total disbelief as he witnessed Kagome turn her body movements in a sensual way with the rhythm. She was moving with the music. It’s like Kags is losing herself, and damn she really is an awesome singer, he thought. Kikyou, on the other hand stood there in jealousy. Loathing the woman on stage. They both listened to the music. One willing and the other out of spite. The words of the song where sinking to their minds.
I can’t believe I fell for your schemes I’m smarter than that. So dumb and naïve to believe that with me you’re a changed man. Foolish of me to compete when you cheat with loose women. I took me some time but now I’ve moved on.

Sesshoumaru looked down at the stage after finally deflecting Kagura’s unwanted advances. He heard her walk off in a huff and smiled coldly. Sesshoumaru suddenly detected his brother and his so called fiancée in the club. He couldn’t stomach the scent of her. She reminded him of death and decay. Sesshomaru spotted them near the edge of the dance floor looking at the stage in some sort of strange fascination. He followed there line of sight. Sesshoumaru’s amber eyes fell upon the woman with a hard glare. Familiarity was riveting in his thinking. I’ve seen her before, but where? He asked himself a little curious. An eyebrow arched up in amusement when he realized that the woman singing on stage, dress now was very transparent.
Cuz I’ve realized that I got me, myself and I that’s all I got end. That’s what I found out, and there ain’t no need to cry. I took a vow that from now I’m goin’ to be my own best friend. He wasn’t the only one who watched in morbid fascination at the human female singing on stage. He was in the far corner of the VIP room almost blending in with the shadows as he smirking disdainfully at the lyrics. His dark brown hair fell in waves behind his back while his cold beady eyes peered off in the distance.
Controllin’ me saying you love me but you don’t. Your family told me one day I would see it on my own…

Now that it’s over stop calling me. Come pick up your clothes. There ain’t no need to front like your still with me all your homies know. Even your very best friend tried to warn me on the low. It took me some time but now I’m strong…

The spotlight followed Kagome has she moved around the stage. Unbeknownst to her the light that was giving her attention on stage made her dress very see through. Reveal every curve of her body.
After all the rain you will see sun again… I know that I will never disappoint myself. If you cried a thousand times but if you were so… Yeah, you hurt me a lot along the way. Yeah, I can see the sun shine after me, myself and I.
The song ended with an unusually quiet before sharp intake of breath. Then the applause and whistling began in earth shattering noise from the clubers. A howling sound came over the speakers.
“Wow! Ladies and gentlemen give it up for Kagome Higurashi.” Came Kouga’s voice. “That’s my woman!”
The lights dimmed and Kagome bowed and ran off in the stage in sheer euphoria, but not before shooting Kouga a look. She squealed in delight but it quickly dissipated when she saw the stunned look on Sango’s face.
