Rin's Wish

Well I've been working through thanksgiving and managed to do another chapter! so Yay! ta-da here it is so enjoy


Rin turned hearing the 'you' explode from Sesshomaru like the retort of a gun going off. She stared at him and the newborn baby he was holding with a mixture of disgust and mild annoyance. "Oh so you remember me now that your precious Luna's not here poisoning your mind" She said the words like nails slamming into a coffin that was closed on her heart.

Sesshomaru blinked confused by her words. "Rin I thought you had ran away from me" He stiffened then giving her a cold stare. "None the less" He saw her slightly rounded stomach and curled his lip. "What Luna said obviously was the truth one of my guards must be responsible for the bastard you carry"

Rin's eyes widened in first shock then pure anger. "How dare you" She hissed like a cobra. "Believing that lying little tramp thinking that I would lower myself to her level and lay with one of your guards. I respect myself and my mate" Lifting her head she glared at Sesshomaru hotly. "Besides when would I have managed to lay with one of your guards you know yourself I was virgin when you claimed me"

Sesshomaru blocked her words closing his heart to her. "Too bad what's done is done Rin" He glanced at Inuyasha his eyes skipping the others before landing and focusing sharply on Kagome. "Miko" He moved towards her ignoring his brother's growl of warning. "Im putting you in charge of my daughter's up bringing and schooling"

Kagome sputtered in indignation unable to belive what she was hearing from the arrogant lord. "How dare you!" Planting her hands on her hips she looked up into Sesshomaru's amber pools. "You think because you tell me that im going to watch your child when you turn Rin away your own mate that carries your own flesh and blood then snap uttering a command i'll just to obey"

Sesshomaru's calm features never changed. "I will not tell you again wench either listen or i'll turn you all out to the winter's month's that are coming and there is no proof the child Rin carries is mine" He gave Rin another bland look but obviously not believing it was his child. Miya had been sleeping the entire time but the obvious tension in the room had disturbed her. Scrunching up her small face she let out a howl her tiny fists pumping at the air as she sucked in more air to let out another angry cry.

Inuyasha jumped flattening his ears at the disgruntled sounds the infant was making. "Do they always sound like that" Having never been around a newborn he did not expect such loud noises from such a small thing like the baby.

"Give her to me" Rin said gently pushing Kagome to the side she deftly plucked the baby from Sesshomaru rocking her as she started to hum a soft lullaby. "What's her name Sesshomaru" Miya grew silent staring up curiously towards the new face. Rin glanced up to Sesshomaru. "Why isn't she with her mother" She said it sharply. "She needs to be fed and diapered"

Sesshomaru was not pleased that Rin had just took his daughter and now was demanding answers and telling him what needed to be done when he already knew. "For your information she's going to a wet nurse Luna's tired and said it would be for the best if Miya had someone to care for her while she rested"

Rin's eyes narrowed as she started to growl. If looks could kill Sesshomaru would be dead on the spot burried six feet under while worms crawled through his eyesockets. "I should rip your head off and punt it across this castle!" Her black tail started to snap and sway behind her form. She had never before in her entire life felt so furious or had been so angry at Sesshomaru.

Kagome saw the look in Rin's eyes and she knew the girl's maternial instincts were raging. "Guys I think we need to leave now and let them talk about this between themselves" Glancing to Sesshomaru then Rin she ushed her friends out letting Inuyasha close the door behind there little group.

"How can you of all yoaki be so unresponsible for this child!? I mean seriously Sesshomaru you let her convince you to hand over your infant to a nurse. She's a baby that needs her mother's care not some nurse that won't even bond with her properly" She was in the middle of her rant when she felt the Miya's face nuzzling at her covered breasts. She actually stopped chewing Sesshomaru out to turn sitting in a chair adjusting Miya she reached up to bare one breast offering Miya her plump nipple. Miya seized it in her small mouth and started to suckle.

Sesshomaru had listened to Rin's threats and her words and of course was furious that Rin was daring to speak to him in such a manner but before he could even respond he watched in total surprise as she began to feed Miya. That threw him for a loop. "How can you do that you still are pregnant with your own child you shouldn't be able to do that" For the first time in a long while Sesshomaru was baffled and was unable to hide it.

Rin was stroking one finger against the childs satiny cheek. "I have the shikon jewel remember Sesshomaru with Kagome's help I learned how to use it's power for good and to help the innocent. Miya is innocent so I am able to put my powers to proper use" When Miya finished feeding Rin gently shifted her to pat her back until she heard Miya give a heart burp. Rin smiled cradling Miya against her chest. "There you are precious now you can rest" She coo'd to the baby satisfied with herself and the child's feeding.

Narrowing his eyes Sesshomaru gave Rin a hard stare before looking to his daughter who was sound asleep with a contented smile on her tiny face. "Miya seems to like trust you a great deal. You will be in charge of her from now on" He folded his arms across his chest his armor glittering in the rooms light. "Until the truth can be revealed" Then he turned to leave.

"What!" An angry voice rang out.
