Kyoko opened her eyes. It was still night.
'good.'
She got out of bed and went into the hallway. She checked if anyone was awake and wandering around, then she started walking.
She stopped at Sesshoumaru's room and quietly opened the door.
'good, he's asleep.'
She closed the door silently and continued walking until she got to the library. She opened the doors and stepped inside, first checking if anyone was there.
She looked around.' Now which door..that one.'
She went through a door on the far left side and closed it behind her. It was theoffice that she would often find Inutaisho in, reading or writing.
She went to the desk and opened it, looking through the papers. She frowned when she didnt find what she was looking for.
'Wait...of course!'
She went to the next office, which had been hers.
She looked through that desk, and found a key. Then she went back to the other one and opened a closet like room. She went to a shelf with a box on it.
She went back into the office with the box, locking the closet behind her.
She then left, going back to her room.
When she got there, she lit the fireplace and sat in front of it.
She put the box in front of her and opened it.
There it was. The letter she had wrote. He had put it inside this box.
She had wondered where it was when she didnt see it with the knife.
"So, you did remember me."She smiled slightly. "You kept your promise."
She took another item out of the box. It was a rolled up large piece of paper, tied up with a blue ribbon.
She untied it and opened it.
It was a painting of her holding baby Sesshoumaru. She looked so happy in this picture. Actually, it was one of the happiest memories she had.
She put the painting aside and took out another one. This time, she wasnt happy. It was a painting of Inutaisho and Inuyasha's mother, who was holding baby Inuyasha. He looked happy, which is what she wanted him to be, but...
She crumpled the painting in her hands.
She stood up and walked to the painting of her and Inutaisho. She ripped her claws through it, shredding it with no regret.
Then she went to the mirror. She looked at her reflection, at the mark on her neck.
She screamed and punched the mirror, shattering it, and splitting her skin, covering her hand in blood.
She sank to the ground, not knowing what to do. She was sobbing uncontrollably, both enraged and saddened. She tried to wipe her tears, but ended up wiping blood on her face. She couldn't stop crying. Everything she ever did for Inutaisho was wasted.
Sesshoumaru burst into the room, seeing Kyokyingying uncontrollably on the floor in front of a brokerrorrror, with blood on her hands and face, and ripped paper everywhere.
He ran over to her, trying to calm her down.
"What is wrong, mother?" He asked softly.
She cried still. "Why did he do this to me?! I loved him!"
Sesshoumaru sighed and hugged her, letting her cry, knowing that she was talking about his father.
'I hate to admit it, but Inuyasha was right. The memorire tre tormenting her.'
She eventually stopped crying, and tried to wipe the tears off her hace, again ending up wiping more blood on her face.
"I'm not going to cry anymore. I dont care what he thinks of me anymore. Him and that human can be together in death, but I don't plan to be there. He is my forgotten love, and I will never shed tears for him again." She said, standing up.
Sesshoumaru was surprised, but then he remembered her hand.
"Mother, you're bleeding." he said.
She looked at her hand. "I forgot about the mirror. Ill have to get another one of those. You go back to bed. I can take care of myself."
He reluctantly went back to his room, and she closed the door to her room.
"Never again, Inutaisho. I will never shed tears over you again. I have dried my tears, and forgotten my love for you. This is my final goodbye to you."
She shed the top layer of her Kimono, the layer of it that had been given to her by Inutaisho, and threw it in the fireplace. She also threw in the letter she wrote, and finally, the shreds of the painting that she had ripped up and the one of him and the human.
She watched them burn. She then turned around and walked away from it, going back to sleep in her bed.
Naraku....
"She has forgotten her love for Inutaisho, has she? I think differently." Naraku said as he watched Kyoko in Kanna's mirror. "But she still wants to kill Inuyasha, I bet."
"What are you planning to do?" Kagura asked.
"I am planning to have her help me defeat Inuyasha. She is stronger than me by much. I do not want her helping anyone to kill me."
"But what about Sesshoumaru? He will not let her go with you."
"What Sesshoumaru doesn't know won't hurt him. Or maybe it will." Naraku smirked. "She will come with bec because the person I send, will look like someone she would never, ever forget."
Kagome...
Kagome sat up suddenly. She didn't know what had waken her up, but it had felt strange.
Then she felt it again. A pulse of energy going through her body.
She looked down at the Shikon shard that had been in Kyoko's heart. It was pulsing, and glo a d a deep purple.
She touched it, and suddenly, she got a vision in her mind. Kyoko punching a mirror, screaming and crying. She took her hand away.
"What was that?" she whispered.
Inuyasha opened his eyes a little way away from her.
"What is it, Kagome?"
She looked at him, and then pointed at the jewel shard.
"Why is it like that?"
"I don't know," she answered, " But when I touched it, I saw a vision in my mond of... Kyoko sreaming and punching a mirror."
Inuyasha's eyes widened.
"What do you think it means?" he wondered.
"I don't know. But this shard must have a sort of bond to Kyoko."
Kyoko...
Kyoko opened her eyes to the morning light shining through the windows.
She got out of bed and dressed into a light blue Kimono with a dark blue obi.
As she left her room, she got an Idea. Her servant from when she was alive was still here.
She went down to the dining room and there she was, carrying a stack of books.
Kyoko smiled and went up behind her.
"Hi." she said.
The servant, who's name was Suki, dropped the stack of books in shock. Then she turned around to face Kyoko, her eyes wide.
"Lady--Kyoko?"
"Yes its me."
"But you---you're dead, aren't you?" Suki asked in amazement.
"I was brought back to life. It's nice to see you again."
Suki bowed and said, "Its nice to see you again as well, Lady Kyoko."
Kyoko smiled.
"Goodbye, Suki." she said as she left towards the garden.
When she reached the garden, she picked up a bowl of water. She picked various flowers and put them in the bowl.
Then a voice spoke right behind her.
"Kyoko."
She dropped the bowl and it shattered on the ground as she heard who had just said her name.
