Far, far away from the shrine…

Inuyasha had picked up the scent of the young girl Rin and found her and the
ugly little toad she had as a retainer. The two headed dragon Ah-Un snorted as
the group met them. Shippou called for Rin and the young girl fired off one big
bright smile.

SHIPPOU-CHAN!!
she screamed and rushed towards them.

-          
RIN!! called Jaken and tried to stop the girl from running off but it was
hopeless; his short legs could not keep up with her pace.

-          
Ohayo Rin-chan, said the young kitsune and blushed deeply when the girl
hugged him.

-          
Why are you here? Where is the lady with the big white thingy? Rin looked
around the small group but could not see the lady who had saved her.

-          
She is taken care of by your Sesshou-papa, he wanted us to bring you with
us for the time being until she is healed, said Shippou and took her hand.

-          
Ohh, she is not badly hurt? Rin slightly noticed them calling Sesshoumaru
for Sesshou-papa.

Shippou knew Sango had been badly hurt, almost killed, but should he tell Rin
that? But it was Inuyasha who saved him the trouble of telling her anything.

Sango-chan is ok, she is going to be just fine, if only your Sesshou-papa
do what he is supposed too, smiled Inuyasha and surprising everyone by lifting
up the girl onto his shoulders, and took Shippou in his arms and began walking
back to Kaede’s village.

Inuyasha?? Kagome look more than bewildered and followed her mate.

But
she was not sure he could hear her over the children’s laughs.

Jaken
and Miroku looked at each other and snorted and followed the others.

 Sesshoumaru sniffed the small draft and smiled invisible. His brother was on
his way back to the village, and they had Rin with them. And the pestering
Jaken. He sighed and went back to nuzzle Sango’s dark hair. “Time to wake up
my love. Our daughter will soon arrive and I bet she wants to meet you again.”
He thought and let a claw trace small patterns on her left arm.

Sango-chan, time to wake up, he whispered softly and breathed into her
ear.

She
mumbled something completely incoherent and buried her face in the crook of his
neck, not wanting at all to wake up.

-          
I am sorry koishii, but I need you to wake up. Or else I will have to
make you wake up and I don’t think your body is quite ready for that yet, he
purred huskily.

Sango
stiffened and her eyes shot open. Her dark eyes sparkled with confusion first
and then she blushed the whole array of redness.

That what I thought, please I need to look at your wound again, and then
I will take you to wash up in a nearby stream or hot spring, said Sesshoumaru.

Sango
nodded and lay so he could get a clear view over her right side and she watched
him closely as he laved over her bruise. “That’s odd, it does not hurt
anymore.” She thought before she realized – she was no longer wounded.

You jerk!! she hissed and scooted away from the youkai lord.

-          
Take it easy mate, I am not finished yet, he growled and crept closer.

-          
MATE???
What in all seven hells are you talking about?? she screamed and kicked wildly
with her feet.

Sesshoumaru growled again and pinned her to the floor and looked down into her
furious eyes.

-          
Yes MATE, and don’t you forget it, he said with a bickering smile
and kissed her fiercely.
