Bringing Them Back
Chapter 9: Bringing Them Back
Sesshoumaru ran as quick as he could. Wasting time wasn't something he had in mind, especially if Inuyasha was alone. Quickning his pace slightly, he noticed that the Gods Tree was closer than he presumed. Skidding to a stop, he smelt the air. There was corpses buried here, he could smell the decaying flesh.
"Why are you in these parts, Sesshoumaru?" Came a woman like voice. Sesshoumaru turned, to his suprise this woman looked just like Kagome. Though she was pale, and cold looking, her voice iced. "You have no right to be on this land."
"That is none of your-"
"You are here to find the corpses of Inuyasha's comrads, are you not?" Kikyo sneered, stepping closer in one smooth step.
"What I do is of my own business." Sesshoumaru muttered, taking out Toukijin and growling lowly.
"You might as well not touch the ground here. Inuyasha will parish, and I will be the one-" Kikyo hadn't finished before a claw sliced through her stomach. Blood staining the white kimono.
"You keep your flithy hands off of Inuyasha, bitch." Sesshoumaru snarled, "Next time I won't hesitate to kilu."u." Kikyo glared, watching as Sesshoumaru put a deep square like slice into the ground. He then lifted his sword hacking off some of the dirt till he saw paleish skin.
"There.." The demon murmered, pulling out the five bodies of a monk, cat like creature, demon slayer, a miko, and a kitsune. Sesshoumaru then took out Tensigai, a blue glow emitting off the sword. When he rose the blade, he felt an arrow hit it. Though it did nothing. Kikyo gasped, staring at the unharmed and unscratched sword.
"Stupid bitch.." Sesshoumaru cooed, grinning wickedly. "This is a healing sword, there is now possible way of you dislodging it." Letting his arm down, he swept the sword over the five cold figures.
Noticing that the bark bitch wasn't around anymore, atleast her scent didn't come to his senses. Vile scent, if he said so himself. He watched the bodies begin to color into peach. Smiling slightly as Kirara woke, meweling softly and looking around.
"Do you think you could help me carry your friends?" Sesshoumaru murmered to the kitten. He petted her softly, and she rubbed his palm in return. Transforming into a beast, she roared quietly, shaking her furr of all the dirt. Sesshoumaru couldn't help but chuckle softly.
