Where Did You Come From

Heres the next chapter.




The next morning came to soon for Sonya. Voices were interupting her slumber causing her to stir. She turned to see everyone eating what looked like ramen. "Gross." Her hair was matted and her eyes were swollen from lack of sleep. "Has anyone seen my purse?"

Kagome threw her the bag."Here you go. Do you want something to eat before we head out? We have some ramen."

"No thanks I have breakfast in here." A pack of cigerettes was produced. She soon had what she needed to start her day. "So when do we leave? I'm so ready for a cup of coffee."

Inuyasha glared at the foriegn girl. He had to admit even with her hair tangled and if you counted the bad attitude, she was kind of cute. Strange but definitely pleasing to the eye. He had always thought Kagome had large breast but this girl should of had back problems. She didn't have much of a waist either. Hell she was well portioned for a woman. It was no wonder Sesshomaru was left speechless. Not only did the girl radiate beauty she showed no sign of fear. Even while staring face to face with his cold blooded brother.. Her scent had given off defiance and humor. She had thought it funny to mock him. 'Heh, that will get her killed quick. Good thing we're taking her home.'

"We better get moving. I want to be back looking for Naraku before too late. The well isn't too far." Inuyasha stood. "The sooner the better."

"Well its not like I'm dying to stay in your company either. You don't have to be so rude about it." Sonya flicked what was left of her cigerette at him. "You could use some manners."

"ME. I'M NOT THE ONE WITHOUT MANNERS!!! YOU ARE A PAIN IN THE ASS!!!"

"Does a rolled up newspaper mean anything to you?" The others watched as the verbal battle begin.


Thirty minutes later they were on their way back to the well. Inuyasha was in the lead while Kagome and Sonya took the back. The group was silent not wanting a repeat of this morning. Kagome was the only one smiling, her being her usual chipper self. She actually thought the whole situation funny. Seemed her love has finally met his matchn itn it came to insulting someone. If anything the american was amusing. She thought silently to herself. ' It would of been nice to have her around. Of course shed probably couldnt protect herself in a battle and Inuyasha would complain about her being weak. But things would never be dull with her around. It was actually nice to have someone from her time to experience the adventure with her. Maybe," she stopped in her tracks. "Wait!"

"What now?" Inuyasha halted in his tracks. "We dont have time for this. You guys are so slow it'll be noon before we get on our way."

"Well, maybe we shouldn't take her back." she waited for the explosion which took less than a second.

"WHAT! Are you out of her mind Kagome. She's going back. We can't have her tagging along getting in the way." he crossed his arms. As if hst sst spoken the final answer.

"Well, who said it was your desicion. I believe she has a say in the matter. Besides what if she can't go back. She may be able to help us."

"How can that thing be of any help. All she does is complain and whine. Or insults when she feels up to it." he sighed. "The answer is NO."

"I think I'd like to stay if thats alright with Sango, Miroku, and Shippo. I'm sure I could be of some use to ya'll. Besides Inuyasha wants me to go home so I'll stay." She looks at Inuyasha. "Just make sure you keep a leash on him. I don't want to get fleas."

Blonde was suddenly shadowed by Silver. "You aren't staying you hear me. I'm taking you home then you are going to hand over that shard you have." He thrust one of his clawed fingers at her nose. "Try and stay and I'll carry you myself."

"OH HELL NO. I know you just didn't go there." At that moment her left hand swung up slapping his arm back. Inuyasha was to stunned to stop the fist from colliding with his right eye. He was knocked back from the blow. " OH YEAH! Thats what we call Tae-bo baby. Five times a week so don't think you're going to push me around."

Miroku couldn't help but grin at the young girl who now stood in a defensive stance. No one had seen the attack coming least of all Inuyasha. " I think she'd be most helpful." He slowly made his way over to the girl. She slowly relaxed letting her guard down. He let his hand land casually on her back. " You are welcome to join us Sonya."

"Why thank you Miroku," she was pleased with his answer. Until he placed his hand on her ass. "You pervert." The monk groaned when a elbow was imbedded in his ribs.

"Heh, fine stay if you want but I won't be saving your sorry ass." Inuyasha crossed his arms waiting for a reply."

"Great, but there is one small problem. Umm Kagome is there anywhere I can get some clothes? My feet are killing me."

"Sure, lets go see Kaede. She'll have something for you." Kagome smiled as she took her new friend. 'Finally, someone I can relate to.'
