The moment breakfast was finished, the two made their way out to the first post they had replaced. Turning back to Jakotsu, Bankotsu picked up the hammer and asked, "Do you want to hold up the boards or hammer in the nails?"

Looking between his two options, Jakotsu quickly decided holding the boards would take less skill so, since he had no experience with such things, it seemed like the best choice for him. "I'll hold," he informed Bankotsu when he realized he was still waiting for his answer.

"Alright, hold the board up directly across from the last one still there and make sure it is straight," Bankotsu instructed and waited for him to follow through; slightly adjusting the angle of the board when it was less than straight.

Without a word, Bankotsu began hammering nail after nail; making quick work of them. Once he had finished hammering in the first board, he explained, "We'll put in two on each side for now. If we need more or have extra left over at the end, we can always add them then," in case he was wondering.

Once the second board had been nailed into place, about a foot and a half below the first, Bankotsu stepped back to survey the work they had completed. It wasn't a majestic work of art or anything, but it would suffice. Seeing Jakotsu was staring at him, waiting for him, he gestured for him to move onto the next board and grabbed another four nails.
