Mine

Screams echoed through the palace.  Kagome lay tied to a bed while she was in labor.  Sesshomaru had brought in several demon midwives to assist with the labor of the baby.  Sesshomaru himself was in the room as well.  Kagome couldn't believe that he had kept his word and hadn't touched her at all, she didn't even see him the entire pregnancy!  But now she was scared to death.  There was no way to get to her time to have the baby, and now after nearly two years, she had given up on Inuyasha finding her.

another contraction ripped through her and she felt two of the midwives holding her up.  "Push."

Kagome pushed with everything that she had once, twice, three times, four.  Then finally on the fifth try she felt the pain flee herself as she pushed her child out of her body.  when she looked down to try to see what she had she paniced it was there!  She looked up at Sesshomaru with tear filled eyes.  "Sesshomaru let me have the baby!  Please!"

Sesshomaru stood and looked down at his son.  He had a son, but what baffled him was that this son was a full demon and he just watched as he was pushed from the body of a human miko!  He hadn't planned on keeping her until she got pregnant.  He had planned on killing her after a few weeks when she gave up fighting him and submitted.  But she never did and now he was a father.  To a pure blooded demon child.  Hearing the miko behind him he smiled as he looked over his shoulder.  "You have a new role miko."

Kagome paled.  "What?"

Sesshomaru turned and held his son up so she could see him.  "He was born demon.  It is rare but some humans through out history have had the power to birth demon children if sired by a demon.  My son, Maru, was born a demon.  You will nurse him, once he no longer needs you, then he is going with me and you won't see him anymore.  So long as you are able, my goal is to sire children with you."

Kagome paled.  She knew from her little brother that at about a year old he wouldn't need her anymore, she glared at him.  "You can't!  You can't keep him from me like that!"

Sesshomaru turned and headed for the door with his son still in his arms.  "Then you will not nurse him at all."

"Wait!  Fine any time is good.  Please don't take him from me right now!"

Sesshomaru turned and handed her his son.  "His name is Maru.  You are not to call him anything but that."

Kagome held her son close as she cried.  "Fine."  When she was alone with him she looked him over.  He was the spitting image of his father.  Markings and eyes alike.  "I hope what little time I do have with you Maru, that you take how I treated you and keep it in your heart and never become the monster your father is.  And one way or another, I am going to try to get us out of here and in my time.  Away from him."

Kagome lay alone in a cold dark room in the dungon of Sesshomaru's palace.  She was now 58 years old.  And over the years gave Sesshomaru 17 children, all by force.  13 boys and 4 girls in all.  And just like with Maru, who even at his young age is proving that he is as cold and ruthless as his father, all of her children were taken one year to the day they were born, and only three weeks later the rapes started.  Though, knowing that she could give him demon children they were repeated for hours and hours.  Sometimes up to 15 rapes in a day.

And now she lay in his cold, dark cell, the mother of 17, and not one of them really knew her.  Several of her older ones knew who she was.  But chose to be as mean to her as their father was to her.  She winced as another bought of coughing ripped through her body.  Other than the children, Sesshomaru showed off to her as well the heads of all her friends as he killed them one by one when they got too close to his palace to save her.  Even Inuyasha.  She was in a strange place, and dying.  Alone.

Then she heard the door to her cell open and turned faded worn eyes toward it and gasped as tears welled in them.  "Maru."

Maru stepped up to her and glared down at her with crossed arms.  "You know everything hat has happened the last 41 years is all your fault.  Mother."

Kagome gasped again when he called her mother.  He was kept completely away from her from the day he was a year old!  "you know who I am?"

"I do.  And I know that I was concieved by father forcing himself on your for a year.  And all my brother's and sisters after me as well."

"I didn't want him too!  You must believe me when I say that I have loved you and your brothers and sister from the day I was told that I was pregnant with each of you!"

"I do not doubt that mother.  But what I personally blame you for, and so do my other siblings is not being there."

Kagome cast tear filled eyes down.  "He wouldn't let me."

"He would have!  If you would have just learned your place and submitted to him your life wouldn't have been as hard as it was."

"He would have killed me had I done that.  He told me so!"

Maru growled just like his father making the timid old woman jump.  "Had you submitted to him, he would have bonded to you in that time of sex willing between the two of you.  And you would have been able to see us all grow up.  Hisa is barely two years old now.  You would have been able to see her grow into a woman and have a pup of her own one day but you had to hold out for Inuyasha."

Kagome laid down and turned her back to her son.  "If you came down here to act like your father I would like it if you left me to die alone than to deal with a little version of him."

Maru scoffed then left.  "Then die alone.  You could have been there for us all these years, and not grown old.  You chose pride over your children."  Then he was gone.

Kagome cried herself to sleep.  Though this sleep wasn't like any other before hand.  She could feel her heart beating slower and slower.  Then the next thing she knew she was surrounded by a great white light!  when she touched down she was her 18 year old self again!  "Where am I?"

"You made it finally Kagome.  You are somewhere that Sesshomaru will never be able to touch you again."

Kagome turned with a start to see Inuyasha!  "Inuyasha?  So that means that I am......"

Inuyasha nodded.  "Dead.  He can't hurt you anymore Kagome."  Then he rushed to her and pulled her into his arms.  "I am so sorry Kagome that I was with her the day you came back.  If I hadn't been, then what you went through, it wouldn't have happened.  It is all my fault.  can you ever forgive me for the years of pain I put you through?"

Kagome felt the tears welling in her eyes.  She was finally free of him.  SHe colapsed in Inuyasha's arms and cried with everything that she had.  "It isn't just your fault.  I should have done what I always did and just went back to Kaede.  Please don't blame only yourself Inuyasha.  I know you tried time and time again to find me.  Sesshomaru would rub it in my face every time he would defeat you, then move everyone to a different palace."

Inuyasha lifted her into his arms and carried  her toward a even brighter light.  "Come on.  There are some others that want to see you again too."

Kagome looked up and smiled.  Everyone was there!  Grandpa and her mom!  Sango, Miroku, Kohaku!  All of her friends that she made durring her travels.  "I am really finally away from him aren't I?"

Inuyasha nodded.  "Finally."

'Mine!' Kagome flinched when she heard Sesshomaru's voice in her head.  And he was right.  She would forever be his in a sense.  After all there are 17 children that they share blood with. 'But at least here he cant hurt me anymore.  from now on, my life is MINE!'
