Chapter 8
Sesshoumeru had a difficult time once he got to shore trying to stand up let alone try to put clothing on. He didn’t even know what this Kickyou person looked like, but he would find her soon. No one except him was allowed to kill his brother or even make it look like he killed him.
A woman came out of a beach house. She was beautiful, but that meant nothing to him. He was going to kill her if she was Kickyou.
“Are you the witch Kickyou?”
The woman shook her head no.
“I am Kagura. Kickyou no longer lives here. She and her sister are no more. My master Naraku saw to that.”
Sesshoumeru was pissed because he was seeking revenge and it was taken from him.
“Then I will kill him in her place.”
Kagura looked under her fan. He was handsome and powerful. He could indeed set her free.
“Come with me and I will take you to him. I am sure he will be…..intrigued by you.”
Sesshoumeru was very upset he had failed. Now his brother’s body would be in Kagomesui’s garden and the witch would keep his servant forever. It was all this Naraku’s fault.
Kagura brought Sesshoumeru up to the large house on the beach.
“My master is inside. This is as far as I go with you.”
Sesshoumeru entered the dwelling and looked at a man with red eyes and wavy black hair.
“You killed Kickyou.”
Naraku chuckled.
“Indeed, but she is not dead. You see I reanimated her to life as my wife.”
The clay version of Kickyou came out and held Naraku’s hand.”
Sesshoumeru figured a dead version of Kickyou was better than none at all. He would destroy her now.
“Die.”
Sesshoumeru killed the clay version of Kickyou with his tensaiga then slaughtered Naraku with the tessaiga. His work was done, but still he felt no better than before.
“I am free now, thank you.”
Kagura became the wind once again blowing him a kiss.
With that Sesshoumeru went into the ocean becoming once more as he had been.
