I thought I lost you

Wolfluv: this is an Inu and Sessh story… so they’ll be together eventually… I guess… hahahaha! Anyway… there is something that is with Inuyasha and Sesshomaru you will know when the chapter comes up.


Chapter 8

“Tell me seer… gods and goddesses doesn’t have the right to meddle with middle earth am I right?” Inutaisho inquired.

The seer knowing what Inutaisho is talking about supplied them the answers. “Yes they don’t my lord… but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have the power. They too have their own free wills and they too are included in destiny’s grand design.”

“I see…” Inutaisho said satisfied.

“Father, how did you know she is a goddess?”

“She is Izayoi’s mother Sesshomaru… Goddess Luna… the goddess of the moon.” Inutaisho supplied the answers.

“how did you know?”

“I met her once just before my bounding ceremonies with Izayoi.” Inutaisho said in reminiscing tone

Flashback…


“Oh! Inutaisho I can’t wait for tomorrow’s ceremony… tomorrow… I’ll be with you forever.” Izayoi said cheerfully as she hold on to Inutaisho’s arm in the western castle gardens, the two gazing to the moon.

“I too can’t wait Izayoi… tomorrow… I’ll be yours forever.”

“I love you Inutaisho…”

I love you too my Izayoi…” Inutaisho brought his lips closer to Izayoi, just when their lips would meet a bright light appeared infront of them.

“Izayoi… daughter.”

“Mother?!” Ozayoi said surprised.

“Yes it is me… I came here to bring you back to Nirvana.” Luna said when she reaches for Izayoi.

Izayoi held on tight to Inutaisho, Inutaisho feeling Izayoi’s distress “Greetings to you my goddess, we can go inside the castle it is much-“

“Izayoi… come… your home, your true home, Nirvana waits for you.” Luna ignored Inutaisho as if he was not there.

“No mother… I’m staying here… with Inutaisho…” Izayoi said with determination.

“My goddess lets get inside-“ Inutaisho was cut short.

“I am not talking to you demon. It would be better if you keep your mouth shut before I make another… on your neck.” She said with poison.

“Mother! Please… Inutaisho is my intended! Please do not be impolite.” Izayoi hushed.

“I am a goddess and I can be courteous and impolite to whom ever I want. Now Izayoi, come.” Luna turned her back expecting Izayoi to follow her.

“Forgive me mother… but I’m staying here.” Izayoi said sternly.

“With!” Luna said with utter disgust “with that DEMON?!”

“Yes mother… with this demon… with the demon I love so much.” She said as she looked at Inutaisho and back to her mother.

“That is nonsense Izayoi! Demons are for demons! But you! You are a goddess! You cannot let yourself belittled by this demon!” Luna said almost pleading but her face stern.

“Mother I love him!” Izayoi exclaimed.

“And I love you too that is why I came here to bring you back.”

“Mother. I am not going back… I’m staying here… with Inutaisho. With the one I love.” Izayoi said sternly.

“My daughter…” Luna said shocked. “Demons will only bring harm… to you!”

“I will not let anything happen to him goddess… not a single scratch-“

“DEMON! You keep yourself out of this conversation! I do not wish to talk to you! Not now, not tomorrow, and never ever!”

“Mother!” Izayoi called to her.

“Izayoi… If I he is the only thing that anchors you here, if he is gone…”

“MOTHER!” Izayoi pleaded.

“Then coming with me won’t be that hard.” Luna stretch out her arm and white light started to focus on her palm. “Silent scream” Luna said a battle scream. The light beamed to Inutaisho, but it didn’t hit him, for a barrier protected him an Izayoi. “Mother! Stop this! I will not let you hurt him!” Izayoi pleaded.

“No I am sorry Izayoi.” She made a stance of an archer and bright bow and a slender arrow appeared. “Diana’s solstice” she shot the arrow directly to Inutaisho.

“No mother! I am pregnant!” Izayoi screamed. The arrow scattered to different small lights and fade away. “Izayoi…” you’re with a child?!” Inutaisho said in shocked and surprised Inutaisho hugged Izayoi and kissed her chastely on her forehead.

Luna’s eye changed colors assessing what had been said. “It is true.” She said dejectedly. She neared Izayoi, she stooped when Inutaisho came in front of her. “Do not be foolish demon… I do not intend to hurt my daughter… and my grandson.”

“A son! How-“ Inutaisho in a rare time stuttered.

“She can know Inutaisho… she’s a mother and the mother aside from earth.”

Luna neared Izayoi and touched her abdomen where her womb is. “I bless you my grandson… grow to be a strong man.” She said looking at Izayoi’s abdomen and up to Izayoi “and you Izayoi…a safe pregnancy. I love you my dear.” Luna looked at Inutaisho to her side”I know I said I wouldn’t talk to you… but I have no choice…”

“Goddess Luna-“Inutaisho was cut

“You take care of my daughter… fulfill the promise that you told me.” She scolded “you do know that she’s the only reason why you are alive.” She said in warning. Luna once again was engulfed in light and shot up to the sky.

“A feisty mother in law I should say.” Inutaisho commented.

“Father… I will get Inuyasha back.” Sesshomaru stated.

“I am with you son… but we need to plan for it… the elves are not low level enemies… like you experienced… they are skilled in magic and uses it in their utmost advantage… not to mention exceptional warriors.”

“I’m going to seek assistance with the alliance.” Sesshomaru said and turned to leave the room.

“The alliance of the demons… it seems to me that a war may break if such a thing will be brought there.” The seer said.

“I do not agree with war, but yes… a long time dispute of the demons and elves will catalyze this… I do not wish to involve the alliance… but we will need all the help we can get.” Inutaisho commented.
