Later that day Mira sat alone on the manner roof and looked up at the stars her eyes fixed with pain.

"Do i ever cross your mind?" Mira asked the stars and downshifted her eyes away from the sky that seemed to be laughing at her. "I swear i hear your voice driving me insane."

She heard steps behind her and shot up. Turning quickly on her heal she found herself face to face with HIM.

"Get lost." She snarled in a voice dripping with hatred for the young demon.

"Mmm. I've just come to have another go." he grinned and tackled her to the floor and held her down. He moved to strict her but she covered her face with one arm and extended the other.

" Stop! STOP IT!" Mira screamed at the top of her lungs. Her hands pulsed again and began to glow a soft yellow. A blast of light yellow energy blasted from her right hand and struck him hard in the chest, He was sent flying backwards and landed threw the roof right into Naraku's room.

Naraku looked over from his demon puppet to Dogimana who was pulling himself up. Mira lepted threw the hole in the celling landing with a dull thud on her feet. Naraku was taken back at the scene. Dogimana was bleeding from the chest and Mira's eyes! They where glowing pure red! He took a step back.

Mira growled low in her throat and flexed her claws. 'Wait what?' She looked down at her hand and grinned.

Dogimana took a step closer to her. Mira looked at Naraku with a look of ' Stay-The-Fuck-Out-of-this!' on her face as Dogimana advanced with blood lust, Her blood in his eyes.

"I fucking hate you!" Mira's voice was dark and scratchy, And it was not her own."Your everything i fucking hate."

Dogimana lifted himself into the air and slimy green tentacles burst from her body. She dodged each attack with a stern look of ' I will ripe you apart!' on her face.

"YAH!" Mira shouted and spun in mid air slicing her new found claws across Dogimana's chest. Blood spilled over onto the ground as she cut away the tentacles one by one. She dropped down onto her feet from the numerous attacks and blood dripped from her lips.

Dogimana's eyes flashed black and he charged at Mira, The need to murder in clear in his eyes. she dodged numerous attacks but when he got a clear shot. He took it.

"Ahh!" Mira bent forward slightly holding her bleeding abdomen. The others, As in Kagura, Haroshi and Kanna showed up to see what was going on.

Mira growled low in her throat and scent a spear kick to his chest. He went soaring back into a wall and crashed threw it like it was maid of water. She walked out of the whole in the wall just in time to see him pray himself off the ground and charge at her.

Her hands paulced yet and she took it as an attack. Extending her arm she grabbed her wrist as a huge ball of light formed in her hand and she pulled all of her strength into it. She let a raspy scream ecape her lips, As she pulled her arms back to hold the ball better.

"Bitch!" Dogimana shouted as he got to his feet. She was still cringing as the ball grew to the size of a one of the bounce around balls you sit on. She trusted her hands forward and the blast grew as it raced for Dogimana. He couldn't dodge it was coming to fast. He panicked and soon the light souronded him.

A blood seering scream could be heard from the shell of light and they knew it was all over. The light that surrounded Dogimana slowly disappeared and his body lay on the ground blood stained the grass, His organs where spilled onto the ground.

Slowly Mira walked over to his body and did the one thing she thought she would never to do a body. She spit on it.

She got her wish, To have Dogimana's body lay dead before her feet. Rusted blood clung to the her claws at her finger tips as she stared down at his body with no remorse.

Mira feel to her knee's and heaved a heavy sigh and looked over her shoulder at the dumbfounded faces on her so called 'Friends' She stared at them for a while then stood. She walked over to Naraku and bowed her head. "My apologies." She mumbled and looked up to him "i will repair the manor."

' Dogimana was the strongest of us all!' Haroshi thought his eyes still wide. ' How could she defeat Naraku's strongest detachment yet' The hatred the corsed threw her veins, He decided was the only possible explanation. Her eyes where back to normal but she still had claws and a very powerful aura.

Mira looked around at all of the gaping mouths and a smile crept onto her lips. But where did that come from? How could she have defeated Dogimana? when she pushed him back the first time with that strange power she felt almost as if the blood in her body had changed.

"Mira may i speak with you?" Naraku calmly ordered, Mira nodded and walked away from preying ears with Naraku.

"You're a half demon." There he put it bluntly. He hadn't wanted to tell her before. But why? Mira looked shocked.

"But w what k kind?" She stuttered and looked at her fingers.

"Light demon if I'm correct.... Let me explain your blood a little?" As asked she sat down and looked at him. they where in the dojo -Training room- and she was on a bench.

" All right Naraku." She mumbled and kept looking at her claws.

"Light demons powers are trigered by hightened levels of emotional stress......Like with you and Dogimana....." He paused and looked at her to see if she was ok."They learn there powers and learn them quickly. Most of the time a Light Demons powers are well very deadly. But they can also bring life. Do you understand.."

"But i must only have a shred of Light demon in me."

"No i scene it you are half human and half demon."

"But demons don't egsist where i come from." Mira raised a slender brow and forced back a grin."Its probley all my moms fault. That bitch is always causing problems." Mira let out a soft laugh.' That laugh...' Naraku stared at her for a second before a soft smile grazed his cold lips. That laugh that sounded so much like a song of angels. He chuckled low and shook his head a little bit.

'She is all you will ever need Naraku, Not some damn jewel.' Whispered a little voice in the back of his head 'Shut up!' He started to growl and Mira looked at him with questioning look on her face.

"What of your wound?" He asked snapping out of it trying to look at her bloody kimono.

"I'm fine." She stared at him and covered the wound with her arms.

"Don't be so nieve, at least let me look at it." He pulled her arm away and she pulled back standing up.

"I don't need your pity, I'm F.I.N.E!" she snapped and pushed his arm away.'I wont let you get close to me. If you do I'll fall harder.'

"Don't be an Idiot, You could be seriously injured! Let me look at it!"He grabbed her arm and pulled her over to him.(Again he is falling out of chariture, But hey its my story and i can do as i damn well please!)

"I said I'm fine! You don't have to look after me like I'm a child you know!"she glared at him and began to walk away.

"Don't walk away from me!" He grabbed her arm and was awarded with a sneer of pain form the female Hanyou before him as he ripped open the wound and it began to bleed freely now.

"Now look what your arogence has done!" Mira shouted and slapped him hard across the face. Bewildered he let her leave the room. A hand print fresh on his cheek."Selfish brat."

She walked threw the halls with her arms crossed over her chest "Arogent bastard."She knew she had to think some things over.

"Mira." Haroshi waved his hand in the air and came sprinting over to her. "Hows your wound?"

"Its all right."Mira gave him a reassuring smile and looked up at him. He was a little over a foot taller then her so she had to bend her neck quite a bit.

"Mira." Her name slipped off his toung like honey as he reached his hand out and cupped her cheek. his eyes closed and he moved his head down. ' He is going to kiss me!!!!' Mira jerked away and took a couple steps back.

"What the hell do you think your doing!?" Mira shouted and narrowed her eyes."Don't you ever try that again!" Mira turned on her heal leaving a baffled Haroshi behind.

"You disgust me." Naraku said from behind Haroshi with a voice dripping with venom.

"Excuse me?" Haroshi snapped turning around and throwing a glare at Naraku.

"You heard me. I've seen the way you look at her, You worship her!Your a pathetic excuss for a man. She says jump, you jump." Naraku voice held so much malice, Haroshi could have sworn he was jealous.

"Shut up! You think your any better?" Haroshi snapped as Naraku took a step forward. After that Haroshi took a step back and walked off from a flaming Naraku.

After an odd conversation with Naraku, Mira walked along a dirt path with a weird distant look on her face.

"What did he mean ' By any means necessary.' ?" Mira saw the village of Kiada and smirked " Oh well maybe this will please him... Maybe he is mad about Dogimana and this is his way of getting me to redeem myself?" She shrugged. The village was less then a mile away and she could make it in two minutes if she ran.

With that thought in mind She leaned over and began to sprint towards the village. She stopped dead in her tracks when her new sensitive ears picked up Kagome's anoyying voice.

"Guys a jewel shard is headed this way fast!Wait it stopped right outside the hut....." Came Kagome's comment. Mira smirked.

"Its Koga isn't it?" she heard Inuyasha's voice as she approached the hut.

"There is a powerful demon aura outside the hut." Sango's whispered and grabbed Hiraikotsu and stepped towards the door with Inuyasha. They looked to the frame and saw a womans figure standing there, Her hair looked as if it was short.

They both steped outside of the hut and where greated by a woman who looked familyer but they couldn't deside who it was no even Inuyasha's nose could point her out. She was short but had nice curves. She wore a blake kimono with red roses on it. To her hip was straped a sliver sword and a longer one colored black and on the other side she had five or six daggers.

Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a high bun and a large clumb hiding the right side of her face. As they looked her over they noticed claws and pointed ears like Sesshoumaru. She seemed to be just standing there waiting for somthing before she spoke.

"Do you reconize me?" She asked and flashed a fanged grin.

"Mira?"Inuyasha asked eyes wide at the beauty before him. She smirked and nodded.

"You do you think it was? Santy clause?"Mira giggled and covered her mouth with a clawed hand.

"Guys whats going-" Miroku was cut short and his mouth waterd at the sight of Mira.,His hand twitched as he smirked

"Dont even think about it monk." Mira slide her hands down to her side and balled them into fists.

They had exsepted her back. And now Her and Inuyasha where standing in the clearing of the gods tree staring at eatch other, With wide eyes, Just trying to keep them open. They where a meer foot from eatch other.

"There is..Only...one..way to win in a...staring contest." Mira's eyes twitched. "You have to blink." She blew air on his eyes and he blinked.

"You cheater!" Inuyasha shouted

" Uhhuu so what."Mira crossed her arms over her chest and stuck her nose in the air."You cheated in thumb wrestling..." They both shared a short laugh as she rubbed her chin. "How about tackle football?"

"Tackle foutbale?"

"Tackle football. But we need more players."

"Can we play?" Sango and Miroku came up with pleading exspressions on there faces.

"Sure! Girls agenst guys. "They nodded as she explained the rules.

"Why are your games funner then Kagome's?"

"Cause im cool. Ok. Your gole is over there. and ours is right over there." Mira smirked as they took ther stances. "Blue 42.Hike hike HIKE!" There game when on for a while as it started to sprinkle. They all got dirty and where having a hell of a time.

Mira jumped into the air and cought the makeshift ball for the third time that day. She ran as fast as her feet would carry her to the otherside ofthe 'Football field'. When she finaly got there she slambed the ball onto the ground and started dancing. " BUUUYAAA!" She shouted and started to do the electric slide. " Oh yea! im bad! whoooss YO DADDDYYY!!!!"

Mira lept forwerd and grabed the makeshift ball again . "Shit!" Mira squeeled as Inuyasha tackled her to the ground. He pinned her with his weight before Mira rolled over and yelled "Dog pile!!!"

"Shit." It was Inuyasha's turn to cuss as Sango and Miroku pounced on them."Get off me." Inuyasha grounded as the weight crushed him. "You guys are fat!" Everyone shared a laugh as they stood up.

Later that evening Inuyasha was finaly taking a bath after the others when a evil little vixen ran up and stoll his cloths leaving only a towle. He wraped the towel around his body and chaced after her.

When he got there, Everyone was laughing. There was the vixin wearing his cloths and dancing around shouting out a song.

"Cant touch this." Mira flashed a fanged inocent grin at Inuyasha and took off running. She was laughing menasingly as she ran with him swiftly at her heals.

"Im ganna kill you!" Came his half srious half joking voice as they ran threw the forest and he clung to his towel.

"Eep." Mira squeeled as Inuyasha tackled her to the ground, They rolled around trying to win eatch other over for a second. Mira lost the rolling battle as was pinned beneath Inuyasha with her arms held above her head. Before she relized how naked he was a blush crept onto her cheeks.

He lost his holding slightly and fell over a little. There noses brushed, Shocked by the sensation it sent threw his body he looked into her eyes and was lost. He moved his head a little and rubbed his nose agenst hers again. She blinked slightly and moved her nose around.

They both took a deep breath before there lips colided. His hands left her wrist and moved down to hold her shoulders. One of her hands crept to his cheek and the other to the back of his neck. There eyes held shut as the kiss begam more heated, Passionate, Dessprate. All thoughts of reality and 'Naraku.' Swept from her mind.

His hand traveld down from her shoulder and grasped her breast. She arched her back and held him tighter. sliding her toung along his bottem lip.Due to the erlyer rain mud coverd there bodies. When his hand traveld up her haroi, His rather. She stiffend and pulled from his lips. Fear suddenly etched deep in her eye, Before she pushed him off onto his butt.

"Stay away!" She shook her head violantly, Before removing his cloths quicky and stood there in her jeans and tank top. She took off running in the derection of camp.

Miroku saw the oncoming Mira in a red tank top and blue jeans. She was looking behind her as she ran. Before he could even get out of the way she bareld into him. Knocking them both to the ground. Mira quickly got to her feet with panic all over her face. Her ears as well as everyone elts picked up Inuyasha desprate call.

"Mira wait!" He ran up behind her and grabed her hand. "Im sorry. I didn't mean to. I mean it was an-"

"Let go! Let go!!!" Tears spilled from her eyes as she pulled her arm back but not hard enough he wouldn't let go.

' Why is she so scared?' Miroku wonderd before wacking Inuyasha over the head with his staff. "What did you do to her!?"

"Nothing I!" He stoped when he saw the fear deep in Mira's eyes. He pulled her hand and brought her into a tight ebrace and whisperd into her ear so she was the only one who could hear. "What ever happend at Naraku's manion. I wont let it happen again. I'll be here for you. Dont be afride. I'll protect you." His cheeks tinted red as she relaxed into his embrace .

As he slowly decend to the ground with her still in his arms, Her face hidden to the world cuddled into his chest. He looked around and saw the sappy look Miroku was giving. The passionate look from Sango and the falming eyes from Kagome. He didn't care about anything, He just wanted this small crying form in his arms to smile again.

He hide his face in her tangeld hair and breathed in deep. Her sobbing soon stoped and her breathing slowed, She had fallin asleep. But he didn't have the heart to move her.

In a flash of dark purple Inuyasha was thrown back many feet and Mira was pulled from his arms. Still lying unconcious. He quickly jumped up and looked around Sango and Miroku where still passed out. Kagome was dangling from Haroshi's arms. Dangling like a rag dog. He gritted his teeth when he found Mira dangling by her neck in Naraku's arms.

"Naraku you bastard! Let her go!"

" Who will it be Inuyasha?." Naraku grined michviously as his free hand reached down and pulled Mira to him whispering somthing in her ear. " Not enough time to save them both. Kagome, The reincarnation of purity of a lost love. Or the strong, Couragious, Beauty that is Mira?"

Inuyasha looked from the two girls and his heart beat quickend.What was he going to do. If he ran to save Mira, Kagome whould die. And vise versa. ' No matter witch one i save, The other is going to die.' Inuyasha thought angerly as he looked from eatch of the girls.

"It doesn't matter does it!?" Inuyasha shouted. "If i save Mira, Kagome dies! If i save Kagome, You most likely wont kill Mira, But i'll probley never see her again..." Inuyasha went over his options.' At least they would both be alive if i save Kagome' He turned on his heal to the derection of Kagome but stoped dead in his tracks when he heard Narakus laugh and the sound of Mira chocking.

"Do not undereastimate what i am capable of Inuyasha."Naraku queezed Mira's neck harder, A bruise forming under his palm.

"Mira!" Inuyasha yelled and ran for her.

"You have desided." Naraku said as he flung Mira from his grasp at Inuyasha. " Now Haroshi!"

A loud snap came from The derection of Kagome and Haroshi. Inuyasha's eyes nearly grew to wide for his head as he turned around to look.

"KAGOME!!!"Inuyasha yanked himself from under Mira and ran to her limp form on the ground.He fell over onto his knees and lifted her into his lap. A puff of purple smoke surounded the camp and when it settled Naraku, Haorshi and Mira where gone.
