End Cermony
Wow it’s been over a month since I updated. Sad part is I’ve had barely any time to write, and this story has been playing over and over in my mind. I suck. I did however figure out my lovely enemies, and I answer the questions burning in your minds in a few more chapter. Thank you Patty530 and KooKooKitty for the reviews!

Sesshomaru stood there with his head held high. Celina’s abrupt departure caused the other guest to start murmur and gossip about what had happen. Koga had slowly returned to his seat, and Lord Afrananie sent him a smug smirk. Sesshomaru saw the other lord’s smirk, and set his stone cold face towards the gossiping crowd.
“Enough,” he growled, the whole room went quiet once more. He would make sure the lower lord knew his position on his daughter’s courting. “Lord Koga still has my permission to court my daughter, now let the feast continue.”
He seated himself once more, and met the eyes of his mate. Giving her a small nod, she stood up and proceeded out the door. Heading down the hall, she went straight to her daughter’s door. She put what little control on her anger as she could, Taijina called out to her daughter.
“Celina?” she called softly but was met with silence. “Celina open this door now!”
“Go away,” came the cry from the other side of the door. Taijina sighed heavily, and prepared to break down the door.
“Tai,” Ash called from down the hall. Taijina turned to face her, and Ash beckoned her down the hall. The two walked in silence until they reached Ash’s room. Going inside Ash quickly shut the door.
“You have a hell of a lot of explaining to do,” Taijina growled, as Ash calmly sat down.
“Where would you like me to begin?” Ash asked of her signaling her to sit in the seat opposite of her.
“How about why you pulled me away from my daughter’s door?” Taijina asked, refusing to take the seat.
“She needs rest,” Ash replied, looking away from Taijina. “The stress of the day is bearing down on her.”
“Stress?” Taijina gaped, causing Ash to look at her. “There is something else, and you better tell me now or I will kill you a thousand times over!”
“I’m sworn to secrecy!” Ash replied.
“That has stopped you from blabbing before,” Taijina snorted.
“Good point,” Ash sighed, and then looked up at Taijina. “Except in this case, I don’t feel like dying and coming back.”
“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH” Taijina screamed as she jumped on top of Ash, causing the chair to fall backwards. She started repeatedly banging Ash’s head against the floor roughly. “Just tell me damn it all!”
“Taijina,” she heard the voice and looked over her shoulder, still banging Ash’s head against the floor. There stood Sesshomaru and Touga in the doorway staring at her. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” Taijina replied as she rolled herself off of Ash’s now limp form. “What are you doing in here? What of the feast?”
“I ended it,” Sesshomaru replied entering the room, and helping Taijina up off the floor.
“And how does one just end a mating ceremony?” Taijina asked, trying not to stare at Touga.
“When the couple heads out of the room it is easy,” Sesshomaru replied, as he took one of the seats in the room.
“In other words as soon as InuYasha and Kagome left the room he roared and all fled the room,” Ash giggled from the floor, and was swiftly kicked in the ribs by Taijina.
“Enough,” Sesshomaru told Taijina. “Now we need to discuss where you stand in relation to whom you actually are.”

“It was a lovely feast,” Catalina said, making idle chat as her and Tasshomaru strolled through the palace gardens.
“Until my father made everyone leave rather abruptly,” Tasshomaru sighed. “And my sister’s actions.”
“Well your sister did take a lot of attention away from you,” she replied, stopping to stare at a bush of silver roses. “Oh wow. They’re gorgeous!”
“My father had them special altered by kitsune fox magic to the color of mother’s eyes,” Tasshomaru informed her as the stared at the silver rosebuds glittering in the moon light. “I should face the music soon.”
“Come to my house afterwards if you are still alive,” Catalina told him, as she kissed his cheek. “Thank you.”
“For what?” he asked as she started to walk away from him.
“Everything,” she said turning to him once more. He thought he saw a tear in the corner of her eye, but it had to of been a trick of the moonlight. Tasshomaru shrugged it of, and headed for the palace.
After awhile and some questioning he found his father in Ash’s room, where an intense argument was going on between Taijina and Ash. Walking into the room, no one took notice of him until he snapped the door shut. The room went quiet and all eyes were on him, and Tasshomaru did his best not to let his nervousness show as he set his face in an indifferent mask like his father’s
“You want your part in this known,” Taijina growled, as she went and stood to Sesshomaru’s right.
“I didn’t find out anything until last night when Celina dragged me into this room,” Tasshomaru replied, his voice not giving away his fear they would start talking about his companion for the evening yet.
“Is that all?” Sesshomaru asked, quirking an eyebrow. Tasshomaru nodded his head yes. “It’s surprising how your sister is always in the middle of these situations.”
“Not my fault she’s so mischievous,” Tasshomaru mutter under his breath, earning him a glare from his father. “Sorry.”
“What are we doing about him,” Ash asked, as she stared at Taijina.
“Don’t,” Sesshomaru warned Taijina, trying to avoid another argument between the two. “As for him,” he looked towards Touga. “He smells like my father, certainly acts like my father. However, I saw my father’s burnt corpse. Logically that cannot be my father.”
“When has logic ever worked with this family,” Taijina muttered, earning her a glare from Sesshomaru. “Sorry.”
“This is where your son gets it from,” Sesshomaru said before turning his attention back to Touga. “Besides the fact I saw your corpse, I have no proof you are not whom you say you are. Therefore, until further notice you shall have a room prepared and stay in the Western Palace as a guest. I shall find out whether or not you are my father.”
“At least that’s problem solved,” Ash sighed, gaining attention to herself once more. “Well it was only one of many problems!”
“Indeed,” Sesshomaru stated, turning his gaze to his son. “Now who was this female you had presented today, and why have we never met her before?”

Celina shifted in her bed, she awoke in confusion. Sitting up she noticed broken glass on her floor. Pulling the covers back, she moved to get out of bed when she felt a pinch at her neck. Her world slowly faded back to black.

“She is a female I am courting,” Tasshomaru admits, and inwardly he prepared for his father’s hazing.
“We will need a proper introduction before you even think about taking your courting to the next level,” Taijina informed her son, as Sesshomaru stood.
“With that we should all retire,” Sesshomaru said, taking his mate’s arm. “Goodnight.”
When they were by their bedroom door Taijina turned to her mate. “I’m going to check up on Celina.”
“Be quick about it,” Sesshomaru replied, heading into his room, he was still fuming about his daughter’s actions. Taijina headed down to her daughter’s room, after knocking for a bit, Taijina busted the door down. She found the room empty and sighed as she sat down on Celina’s bed.
“Where did she go,” Taijina sighed, and then noticed something sparkling on the floor.

“Tasshomaru,” Catalina exclaimed, as she opened the door to her apartment. “For a moment I didn’t think you were coming.”
“I wouldn’t miss being with you for the world,” he purred into her ear, as he picked her up and closed the door with his foot. “My parents want a formal meeting with you.”
“Both parents?” she gasped, as he spun her around.
“Well my mother made the request, but father didn’t say anything,” he replied, as he put her back onto her feet, and kissed her lips. “Shall we celebrate this small victory?”
“Of course,” she purred, when her door was busted open. They were surrounded before they could move. Tasshomaru gave a low growl, but was hit by a sleeping dart in the neck. Catalina soon fell after him.
