Healing A Broken Heart

Disclaimer: I know I spelled some names wrong in this story. Sorry guys but I made this chapter longer and took a reviewer's advice..so I hope you enjoy this chapter. Im trying to get some more done. Bare with me guys! it's the holidays makes it difficult

Rin was furious as she paced in Kagome’s room, raking her claws through her long hair. Wearing only a pair of panties and a black lace bra that snapped in the front. “I can’t believe him,” She snarled, turning to look at Kagome. “He thinks he can just waltz back into my life and think im going to rush into his arms” Throwing herself into a chair, she narrowed her eyes. “What makes it worse is he has a SON! A son with that horrid yoaki bitch!”

Kagome looked up from where she was sprawled on her bed, wearing a long silky robe. “You heard him Rin he killed Satara but in these scrolls there is no documentation about the well being destroyed or Satara’s death”

Rin’s eyes flashed blood red for a split second before they returned to a normal hue. “That doesn’t matter Kagome what matters is he betrayed me in the worst way possible. Oh Rin I couldn’t have half-breed children so I decided to take a mate to push you away. HA!” Tapping her claws on the arm of the chair she was thoughtful for a few minutes. “He could’ve just told me that he couldn’t love a human, it wouldn’t have hurt so much”

Kagome shrugged getting off the bed going over to the closet pulling the doors open before she dug through the clothes that hung there. “Rin what do you think the red slinky dress of the black vinyl skirt and halter top?”

“Why?” Rin blinked now pausing in her ranting as she gave her friend a quizzical look. Arching a brow, normally Kagome didn’t wear any of her skimpy outfits unless she was going out with her to a club.

Turning Kagome gave Rin a slightly guiltily look. “Well I wanted to get together with Inuyasha and go clubbing,” She decided on the skintight skimpy vinyl skirt with the black form fitting halter-top. Slipping the skirt on she zipped it. Then the halter-top was pulled on, tying the laces in the back.

Rin’s face fell slightly, she was happy that Kagome had been reunited with her true love but that didn’t stop her from hurting and being slightly jealous. “Well have fun,” She pouted, watching as Kagome pulled on her high-heeled sandals wrapping the leather around her ankles.

Running a brush through her hair Kagome knew Rin would be upset. “Don’t worry about it Rin you remember Inuyasha’s rival?” She turned and smiled innocently towards her friend. “I know for a fact that he’s single and very available I was thinking we could double date”

“WHAT?!” Rin sat upright, staring at Kagome with wide eyes. “Are you mad! He’s sex crazed I remember when he use to always run around and call you ‘His woman’ there is no way im going out with that flea bitten mutt”

Laughing Kagome shook her head. “Rin don’t worry about it me and Inuyasha already talked to him and we’ve got it all figured out” Her eyes narrowed with glee. “You see what better way to get back at Sesshomaru then make him hurt”

Rin blinked and suddenly smiled. “Ah you mean have Sesshomaru see me with another man and the fact im having fun with another man”

Kagome nodded, returning that smile. “Exactly and Koga is the perfect choice so if your ready to make a certain stuck up Yoaki lord very jealous get dressed and ready I’ll call Yasha and let him know the plan’s a definite go”

Koga scowled at Inuyasha, he couldn’t believe the mutt was asking him to do this. He was dressed in a pair of black leather pants with an open leather vest. His long brown hair had been brushed and pulled back in his classic ponytail. “Tell me again why im doing this for you Inuyasha” Naturally the wolf Prince had been surprised when Inuyasha had went out of his way to find him. What had surprised him even more was the story he had to tell. That explained a lot but he still didn’t know if he really wanted to get on Sesshomaru’s bad side. Or Rasha’s for that!

Inuyasha gave Koga a stare. “You’re doing this for me because you owe me big especially after all the times you went around claiming Kagome” He wore a pair of black leather pants as well as a black wife-beater shirt. Black fingerless gloves on his hands, while a bandana covered his pointed ears.

Koga scoffed, folding his arms over his chest as he gave Inuyasha a measured stare. “Well as I recall Yasha you didn’t have much of a claim over her when you were always running around with that undead walking clay pot Kikyo!”

Inuyasha flinched at the reminder of Kikyo, he had felt guilty about her death at Naraku’s hands and then when she was brought back to life with a small part of Kagome’s soul trapped within her body he couldn’t resist her. Even after the many times the undead woman had tried to drag him to hell. No matter what had happened though Kagome had some how found it within her heart to forgive him. He had came back to the camp many a night only to smell Kagome’s tears and know she had shed them because of his liaisons with Kikyo.

“Do you always have to bring that up Koga” He grumbled, picking up his cell phone when Puddle of Mudd’s “Control” started to play. Flipping it open he brought it up to his ear. “Hey is she going out with us?” He listened for a few seconds before he flashed thumbs up towards Koga. “Great we’ll pick you up in thirty minutes” He stopped and then laughed. “Alright make that an hour then. See you soon” Flipping the phone shut he gave Koga a fanged grin. “Rin’s got to get ready, Kagome said she wants to look nice for you”

Koga just blinked at that, why would this yoaki girl he had never seen before when she had been changed want to get dolled up for him? Of course he had seen Kagome, he had went out of his way to talk to her when he ran into her on the street before. She had mentioned Rin being changed but never did she bother to invite him to the shrine to meet her and here he was going on a blind date with a yoaki he only knew as a child, a human child that his pack of wolves had killed before. “You know Yasha maybe this isn’t such a good idea I mean.” He started to get nervous. “My pack was responsible for her death what if she remembers and tries to snap me in half”

Inuyasha patted Koga on his back, walking him out of the house. “She’s forgiven you for that Koga, she forgave you a long time ago. Besides she’s a really nice girl, I know your going to love meeting her!” Inuyasha was speaking loud enough for Jaken to hear. He knew Sesshomaru’s ugly little toad servant was always spying on him wanting to catch any bits of information to take to Sesshomaru. Behind them he heard Jaken scurrying off and he grinned. Perfect the plan was falling into place.

“Lord Sesshomaru!” Jaken waddled through the mansions hallway. “Lord Sesshomaru!” He fell backwards, in his rush he had smacked into Rasha’s legs. Looking up he quickly got to his feet. “Lord Rasha” He was panting, slightly out of breath. “Inuyasha and Koga are going out tonight at some club. I heard Inuyasha mention Kagome and that Koga would Love meeting someone!”

Rasha arched a brow, staring at the toad. “So? Inuyasha is going out with his woman, and obviously setting Koga up on some blind date why are you rushing to tell my father this?”

Jaken just blinked realizing it did seem pretty foolish. “Well” He stammered and stuttered pausing slightly. “Im not sure I just thought Lord Sesshomaru would want to know. Normally if Kagome goes out to clubs Rin always goes with her. Im sure she’s going this time as well”

Rasha narrowed his eyes, before he nodded. “Get on with your business Jaken I will tell my father” As he dismissed the toad he shook his head. “Pathetic creature I don’t know why Sesshomaru keeps him around” Walking down the hall he stopped in front of his father’s office tapping on the door waiting to be granted entrance.

When Sesshomaru bid him entrance he pushed the door open and stepped inside. Eyeing the paperwork that littered his father’s desk. “Going over the cooperate plans for take over another small pathetic company?” Sesshomaru had been smart, he had instructed the Snake yoaki to find out which companies were the most powerful and to buy them out in Sesshomaru’s name. When he awoke he was one of the richest and powerful men in Japan

Sesshomaru just gave his son a cool smile. “Naturally, these humans are fools and don’t know how to properly manage there companies. I have placed many-trusted yoaki in power over the companies while they keep the humans under them. We continue to grow richer while the humans are none the wiser”

Rasha nodded, moving to sit down in front of his father’s desk. Arms folding over his chest as he glanced at the portrait that hung behind his father’s chair. It was a picture of Rin in her yoaki form, standing under the full moon. Her long hair blowing wildly in the wind, it had taken a masterful artist to paint it the exact way Sesshomaru wanted. He had decapitated many yoaki artists before finally finding the one who could paint a life like portrait from only a snapshot. “I do not mean to disturb you at this time but I figured you’d rather have me come in then your retainer”

Sesshomaru nodded, he wasn’t even looking at Rasha anymore. He was signing papers and reading over them before setting them to the side. “Indeed. What news do you bring me?”

“Kagome is going out with Inuyasha tonight, Rin is going with them. From what I understand from Jaken’s loud mouth there planning to go out to a club. Im not sure exactly which club I just know there going out” Rasha said, watching his father with his own emotionless mask.

Sesshomaru put another paper to the side, looking up before he nodded. “Hm I was wondering why my brother was hanging out with Koga. I knew those two hated each other back in the day.”

“Well that’s the thing Father, from what I understand Koga is going out with your brother” Again Rasha spoke, rising as he felt his cell phone vibrate against his hip. He lifted it long enough to look at the number not bothering to answer it. Just another yoaki woman that was hopelessly in love with his money, he had gone to many charity functions with his father. Many of the yoaki knew his heritage and the money he would inherit when his father handed him the company. He had yet to find a single woman who did not want him for anything but his riches.

This news caused Sesshomaru to arch a single eyebrow staring at his son. “Really” He mused, tapping his fingers lightly against the desk before he stood. “Then have Jaken ready the limo, call all the popular yoaki clubs have them on the look out for Rin and my brother.”

Rasha chuckled softly. Narrowing his eyes as he watched his father. “Plan on spying on her?”

Sesshomaru allowed a light smirk to cross his features. “Not exactly spying Rasha, I plan on making sure my intended is not being mishandled by another man”

Bowing to Sesshomaru Rasha turned walking from the room. “I will have it done right away father”

Pulling up in front of Kagome’s home, Inuyasha climbed from the car. He was carrying a bouquet of ebony roses. He had them imported from another country. They were magical roses, they would change color with the person’s mood. The best part about the flowers was they never wilted or died. “Shake a leg Wolf don’t want to keep the beautiful ladies waiting to long”

Koga gave Yasha a dirty look, climbing from the car as he followed the hanyou up the path to the house. Before they even reached the door it was opened by Kagome’s mother, she was getting along there with her age. Streaks of gray peppered her jet-black hair. “Oh Inuyasha im so happy to see you again” Mrs. Hirogashi gushed. “Come in come in. Kagome’s been getting Rin ready” She looked past Inuyasha squinting slightly to see Koga. “This is Rin’s date? He is a handsome fellow”

Koga squirmed under Kagome’s mother’s gaze, he was already uncomfortable and with the woman’s warm welcome it made him all the more edgy. “Pleasure to meet you Mrs. Hirogashi” He bowed slightly, even with Kagome’s mother’s age he could easily tell where Kagome had gotten her beauty. He wouldn’t dare speak such things out loud. He didn’t need Inuyasha to try and attack him.

Standing in the foyer Inuyasha and Kagome’s mother were chattering steadily. Koga was glancing around the house, studying the family pictures. Some of Kagome as a baby, others of her growing up over the year’s even pictures of Kagome at her high school graduation. It was a rather cozy home, hearing a noise Koga’s eyes shifted to the stairs, his breath caught in his throat. His heart lurching painfully against his ribcage as his eyes fell upon the most breath taking yoaki woman he had ever seen.

Rin was coming down the steps; she wore a pair of skintight snow white leather pants. Her flat stomach was left bared by the matching leather tube top she wore. A silver armband encircled the flesh of her upper arm; she hadn’t disguised her yoaki form. From what Kagome had told her they were going to a yoaki club just so she’d be comfortable. Her hair had been brushed until it shone with a silky sheen; Kagome had pulled it back from her cheeks with ivory combs. Leaving strands to fall against her neck. Her sensual violet eyes moved to Koga, a warm smile gracing her heavenly angelic features. “Hello Koga”

To Koga Rin’s voice sounded like a sultry purr, he was struck speechless not knowing what to say as he felt his leather pants tighten painfully in the groin area. His eyes were as wide as saucers, mouth hanging slightly open.

Coming behind him Kagome saw Koga’s expression and she giggled behind one hand. Brushing past Rin she went over to loop her arm through Yasha’s giving him a warm happy smile. “You ready to go?”

Inuyasha had glanced over seeing Rin, but unlike Koga he wasn’t stuck stupid. When Kagome joined him, he smiled at her. Handing the roses over with a gentlemanly bow. “Of course Milady your chariot awaits”

Taking the roses Kagome gasped, they had changed to a baby blue as soon as they made contact with her skin. “Oh Inuyasha I love them” She inhaled the perfumed scent before handing the flowers to her mother. “Could you put these in a vase for me?”

Nodding Kagome’s mother accepted the flowers, watching as Kagome, Rin, Inuyasha, and Koga swept out of the house. She just shook her head, that poor wolf was moon struck. Each time Rin said something to him he stumbled over his words and made a fool of himself. Looks like the love bug had taken a sharp bite on Koga’s heart. Waving to the young couple, she waited in the door before they had driven out of sight. Sighing she closed the door before turning the porch light on, she was happy that Kagome was finally smiling again. Now if only Rin could find happiness and brighten the world with her smiling face.
