CHAPTER EIGHT: FORMER LOVERS; NEW ENEMIES
CHAPTER EIGHT: FORMER LOVERS; NEW ENEMIES
Sesshoumaru thrust his brother behind him in the bath, concealing Inuyasha’s naked body from Kikyou’s dark eyes. The miko’s nostrils flared. Her gaze, however, tracked the flash of Inuyasha’s snow-pale skin as he was hidden from her sight. Then her gaze centered on Sesshoumaru. He stood there boldly before her, his nakedness not detracting from his regal appearance in the least.
“You are Sesshoumaru? The older brother who rejected Inuyasha ... who sought to kill him many times, yes?” Kikyou asked.
The youkai’s golden eyes narrowed. “And you are the miko that impaled him on a tree with a sacred arrow, correct?”
Inuyasha gasped at the traded insults and peered around Sesshoumaru’s shoulder at the priestess. He was not surprised to see Kikyou’s slender hands clenched into fists, the flush of anger staining her cheeks a dull red, and the tightening of her jaw.
Kikyou said, “Inuyasha, are you a coward now that you would hide behind another and not face me?”
“Coward?! I’m no coward!” Inuyasha hissed and attempted to move around Sesshoumaru to confront the priestess. But Sesshoumaru blocked him with his arm, herding his younger brother behind him again. Inuyasha gave an indignant snort, but a half-glance back by the youkai silenced him.
“He will not be forced to confront you in this manner, priestess. You will go outside ... now.”
Kaede appeared behind her older sister, her eyes carefully averted from the demons’ nakedness. “Kikyou, I think ...ah... that Lord Sesshoumaru has a ... ah ... point. Dear sister, please come outside and Inuyasha will come out when he is ... decent ... to speak to ye.”
Kikyou stood there for a moment outlined in the doorway, the moonlight at her back and the warm glow of the torches in the bath house illuminating her front. She looked like the statue that she was: still and pale. Then she turned on her heels and stalked outside. The grinding sound of the wood door came as Kaede shut it to give the brothers privacy.
“Do you have any other angry former lovers I should worry about coming to confront you, Inuyasha?” Sesshoumaru turned around to face his younger brother.
Inuyasha flushed beet red. “No! I mean technically Kagome and Kikyou are the same person so I only really have had one lover and ... wait a minute! You’re trying to distract me from the fact that you treated me like a blushing maiden in need of a savior!”
Sesshoumaru reached for the sputtering hanyou and drew his naked still slick-wet form against his own. With Inuyasha’s mouth safely pressed against Sesshoumaru’s bath-warmed skin, the youkai was able to explain himself. “I only postponed the battle, precious one, to allow you to have more protection than soap bubbles for your confrontation with the miko.”
Inuyasha snorted, but it was less indignant and Sesshoumaru tightened his hold on his brother’s bare body as he felt a feather-light kiss from his little brother’s lips between his pectoral muscles. Sesshoumaru pressed his own mouth against the top of Inuyasha’s head. He murmured into the hanyou’s hair, “And besides only I get to look upon you naked.”
Inuyasha began to laugh, first silently just shaking, then great guffaws came out of his mouth and he was gasping for breath. Sesshoumaru tried to look stern by pressing his lips together, but once the first chuckle slipped out he couldn’t suppress the rest that followed.
Sesshoumaru fondly petted Inuyasha’s head. “You are getting me into the habit of laughing, Inuyasha. Soon my reputation for being cold and forbidding will be destroyed utterly.”
Inuyasha’s eyes half-closed as his brother’s hand carded through his still damp hair. “You are only like this when we are alone.”
“Do you wish me to be like this with others as well?”
“No. I want to be the only one you are so open with. The only one.” Inuyasha’s face tilted up to look at his older brother’s, his breath passing over Sesshoumaru’s lips.
“Then you shall be,” Sesshoumaru whispered back, his mouth ghosting across Inuyasha’s.
His tongue snaked out and traced the line between the hanyou’s sweet full lips. Inuyasha moaned. The youkai nibbled at his younger brother’s lower lip then he claimed the entire mouth. The kiss deepened with tongues intertwining. Sesshoumaru’s hand skated across the broad muscled planes of his brother’s back, mapping the vertebra until he reached the plump fullness of Inuyasha’s backside. He squeezed those lush globes, letting his fingers trace the line in between, seeking out Inuyasha’s virgin opening. He lightly circled the puckered opening, remembering how pink and lovely it looked when he had thrust against it. The younger half-demon keened in the back of his throat and began to grind his hips against Sesshoumaru’s. Both their sexes began to flush with blood and harden.
“I need ... I need ...” Inuyasha gasped and moaned. He rubbed harder against his older brother’s body.
“What do you need, precious one?” Sesshoumaru husked.
“I ... I ... more ... I need more! More of you! More!”
“Yes, yes, I know. But the others ... Kikyou is outside ...”
“I don’t care!” Inuyasha’s eyes burned like molten copper. “I need you, Sesshoumaru!”
Sesshoumaru groaned at his little brother’s obvious distress. He felt the flame of their bond burning even more brightly between them. The more they touched, talked, loved, the more they shared of themselves with each other, the flame grew. ‘Soon it will be a bonfire that all can see.’
“I will give you what you need, precious one.”
Sesshoumaru reached around to hook his arm underneath Inuyasha’s backside. He lifted the hanyou up so that Inuyasha’s legs could easily wrap around his slim waist. The position brought their cocks up alongside each other. Inuyasha’s head thrashed back and forth against Sesshoumaru’s shoulder where he had rested it as their cocks rubbed together.
“Oh! Gods! Yes!” Inuyasha gasped.
“There is more, brother, so much more. Rock up against me.”
Inuyasha needed no further instruction or encouragement. He began to thrust up against his older brother’s stomach and cock. Pre-cum beaded at the tip of each man’s sex like twin pearls. Sesshoumaru used his great strength in his one arm to bring their bodies closer together.
“Reach down between us, precious one. Wrap your hand around both our members and stroke them together.”
Inuyasha did as he was told and his pleasured gasp made Sesshoumaru chuckle again then gasp himself as Inuyasha used their pre-cum to slick his hand and their cocks.
“Harder, Inuyasha. Make me feel your need,” Sesshoumaru growled and captured Inuyasha’s lips for a hungry kiss.
“I’ll make you need as much as me,” Inuyasha said in between breathless kisses. Then he grabbed their members again and began to give long even-pressured strokes up their lengths. Slick with essence, Inuyasha’s hand was able to slide along their sexes easily, until it felt like they were both thrusting into a hot tight tunnel that his hand made around them.
They both came with a scream together. Ropes of white cum spurted upwards coating Sesshoumaru’s chest and even hitting Inuyasha’s chin as he had arched back when they orgasmed. Sesshoumaru sank down, drawing them both into the water. He washed the mixed essence from their bodies. Inuyasha moaned softly and his head drooped back down against Sesshoumaru’s shoulder. The youkai cradled Inuyasha’s limp body in his arms.
“I feel you, Sesshoumaru,” Inuyasha murmured sleepily.
“What?” The youkai asked, but then he knew what Inuyasha meant. He could feel not only the physical weight of the hanyou in his embrace, but also the weight of his younger brother’s thoughts in his mind. Thoughts of love and devotion and trust. Things that were heavy and light all at the same time.
“Is this another part of the joining?” Inuyasha asked.
“I ... I do not know.” Sesshoumaru felt a moment of disquiet as he thought he also experienced another presence like a leach attached to their bond. A darkness. He tried to push it away, but while it seemed to retreat from his mental touch, it did not disengage from their bond.
“What is that ... thing?” Inuyasha said, suddenly fully awake. He shivered, too, though the bath water was still warm.
Sesshoumaru didn’t answer, but the need to get to the Western Lands and the Seer pounded through him again. He carefully helped his little brother from the bath and urged him to dress while he did the same. He grimaced when he realized that Kikyou still waited outside. Assuredly, she and anyone within a fifty foot radius had heard their love-making. She would not be pleased. Nor would her future self, Kagome. He watched Inuyasha don his fire rat robes, the hanyou biting his lower lip, having the same thoughts as Sesshoumaru.
“Perhaps Kikyou will have calmed down now.”
Sesshoumaru lifted one of his eyebrows up and Inuyasha slumped slightly.
“Do not worry, Inuyasha, I will not allow her to impale you upon another tree.”
Inuyasha grasped Sesshoumaru’s forearm, his grip gentle but firm. The hanyou’s face was fixed in a serious expression. “You must let me deal with this on my own, brother.”
“Why? We are together now. You need not fight alone ever again.”
Inuyasha smiled, but it faded quickly. “In this thing, I must do it myself.”
Sesshoumaru frowned.
Inuyasha gripped his arm tighter. “I’m not weak, you know.”
“I am well aware of that. But I would not have you harmed for the world.” Sesshoumaru heard the vibration in his voice, the slight cracking and could hardly believe it. ‘He means so much to me that I can hardly keep myself together. This much feeling, this much loss of control, in half a day. Gods, what will I feel tomorrow? Will I even be able to let him out of my sight?’
Inuyasha shut his eyes tightly for a moment. “And I feel the same about you. But ... I must fight some of my own battles. I cannot rely upon you every time ... I must carry my own weight!”
“You fear you would become weak if we fight side-by-side?”
“No!”
“Then what do you mean?”
“I cannot allow myself to count on you always being there! One day you may decide that ...” Inuyasha’s voice suddenly petered out and he looked anywhere but at his older brother’s face.
Sesshoumaru tilted Inuyasha’s chin up. “One day I might decide what?”
“That all you feel for me right now was a mistake. That it was the swords’ magic. That ... you do not wish to be burdened with me.”
“It will never happen, my Inuyasha. If nothing else, I fear that I will love you and need you so much that you will resent it and try to pull away. And I will chase after you like ... like some foolish lovelorn human.”
Sesshoumaru tensed as he waited for his brother to see his need for him. Before, the Lord of the Western Lands had kept his desire for the companionship of others to a minimum. But then Jaken and Rin came along and he accepted them, found he tolerated their company, then determined he might actually want their company, but never had he needed anyone. Until now. Until Inuyasha. Inuyasha’s wide golden eyes studied Sesshoumaru’s face. Sesshoumaru swallowed back the tang of fear at showing so much of himself, but kept his mind open to his brother’s probing, allowing their newfound mental link to swell with his emotions.
“I’m sorry, Sesshoumaru! I let my own fear force you to reveal things to me you were not ready to.”
“No, I should ... share these feelings with you. So that you are ... secure in your place with me.” Sesshoumaru bit back the rest of what he wanted to say.
“Do you wish to know how I feel about you?”
Sesshoumaru felt his heart skip a beat. Yes, he wanted to know, wanted to know badly. But to reveal that would be too great a show of weakness for his already stressed stoicism. Besides Inuyasha seemed so fond of him on the outside. Surely if his feelings were no greater than those he revealed that would be enough for the youkai. But the truth was harder to face. He wanted Inuyasha to love, want and need him just as much as he loved, wanted and needed the hanyou. But he was used to denying himself such comfort.
“There is no need to ... expose yourself to me, Inuyasha. I--”
Inuyasha had grown to know more about his brother that day than he had in all the long centuries before. He sent all he felt for Sesshoumaru along their mental bond, opening every door to himself and letting all his love and desire and fears about losing the youkai flow into Sesshoumaru. His older brother gasped as the information flooded his mind.
“Now you, too, are secure in your place with me, older brother.” Inuyasha was smiling as he watched the stunned youkai gain his equilibrium again. He stretched up to kiss Sesshoumaru lightly on the lips. The taste of his older brother was like a burst of citrus in his mouth. Inuyasha’s pink tongue licked his own lips to gather more of that taste.
Sesshoumaru chuckled, in control of himself once more. “Do I taste like sweets to you, Inuyasha?”
“What? Why would you ask that?” Inuyasha felt another blush coming on as he realized Sesshoumaru had seen his little licking maneuver. ‘Gods! First licking, then blushing, soon I will be giggling like Kagome when he just looks at me. How will he ever take me seriously then?’
“The look on your face after you tasted me was quite ... adorable. Like a child that had been sucking on a piece of rice candy.”
“Adorable?!” The hanyou bristled, making Sesshoumaru laugh harder. The hanyou’s mane seemed to puff up with indignation. “I’m not adorable! I’m a warrior!”
“Yes, an adorable warrior.” Sesshoumaru nodded sagely, his eyes sparkling with mirth. ‘So good to tease as a brother and a lover,’ Sesshoumaru thought.
Glowering, but with his lips twitching suspiciously into what would have been a broad smile if he had allowed it, Inuyasha suddenly pounced upon Sesshoumaru. The youkai had failed to notice Inuyasha preparing himself for the springing leap and was thrown backwards. The hanyou brought them both to the ground with Sesshoumaru flat on his back and Inuyasha straddling his hips. Sesshoumaru gave a gasp and his eyes widened fractionally at the sight of the dominant hanyou that sat above him grinning.
“A cunning, adorable warrior, if I do say so myself,” Inuyasha growled. “You must love me if you are willing to be so submissive to me. Or perhaps it is as I thought all along and I am the stronger dog demon.”
The glint in Sesshoumaru’s eyes should have warned Inuyasha that his teasing words were about to get him into deep trouble, but with his mind glazed with success at having trapped his older brother beneath him for once, Inuyasha ignored the signs. Inuyasha yelped as Sesshoumaru suddenly reversed their positions: Inuyasha was pinned beneath the youkai. Sesshoumaru’s face was mere inches above his and the golden eyes were blazing even as the rest of the face was that serene mask he always wore while in the midst of battle.
“You were saying, oh cunning, adorable warrior?” Sesshoumaru’s voice was low and dark.
Inuyasha squeaked as Sesshoumaru used his greater weight to press him hard against the floor, making Inuyasha’s position all the more submissive.
Sesshoumaru continued to speak in that hot as honey voice, “I think I must establish my claim over you, naughty little brother. I think I need to show you who has the power here.”
“Don’t I have the power?” Inuyasha squeaked again as his older brother rubbed his war hardened form over Inuyasha’s.
“Do you?”
“Ah ... uh ... maybe...”
Sesshoumaru used one knee to thrust Inuyasha’s legs apart. He positioned himself in between his brother’s muscled thighs. Without conscious thought, Inuyasha curled his legs around his brother’s waist and tilted his hips up. Sesshoumaru pressed his groin against Inuyasha’s exposed backside. The hanyou keened in the back of his throat. Even through their clothes, he could feel the heat and hardness of his brother’s sex pushed against his opening, ready to breach him, make them one.
“Will you think you have power when I am thrusting inside of you, Inuyasha? When I am in you so deep that you will feel me for days afterwards? When I am planting my seed within you again and again and again until you are saturated with my musk scent every moment of every day? Everyone will know you are mine then, Inuyasha!”
In a voice hoarse with need and want and love, Inuyasha said, “Now I know that I have power.”
Sesshoumaru seemed to not breath for a moment as he ground himself harder against Inuyasha’s body. “Why do you say that, little brother?”
“Because only I make you lose control this way. If that is not having power, I don’t know what is.”
There was a moment of stillness between them and Inuyasha feared he had gone too far in his teasing when with a bark of laughter, Sesshoumaru suddenly gathered the hanyou up into his arms, holding him tightly against his chest. “Yes, I suppose that does make you the powerful one, doesn’t it?”
“I ... I love you, Sesshoumaru,” Inuyasha said the words softly, but his eyes were burning with the brightness this emotion brought.
“I love you, Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru placed a devoted kiss on his younger brother’s forehead.
They remained in the embrace for a moment longer before reluctantly parting. Both knew that they could not avoid the confrontation with Kikyou any longer.
Inuyasha touched his brother’s shoulder. “Promise me, Sesshoumaru, that you will allow me to handle this situation with Kikyou myself.”
“I will allow you to deal with this on your own unless I believe your life, health or well-being to be in danger. Then I will step in, precious one, and there is no way you can make me swear to do otherwise.”
Inuyasha nodded slowly. He knew it was the best he could hope for from his protective older brother. Sesshoumaru reached over and caressed Inuyasha’s cheek. The hanyou leaned into the touch. Some of the tension left his face. Without words, the brothers walked to the door. Inuyasha grasped the sliding wooden panel and with one last backwards look at Sesshoumaru slid it open. They were met not only by the sight of Kikyou and Kaede, but the whole group. Kagome looked particularly pale. She was clutching her bow in her hands in front of her, sending desperate looks over at the still form of Kikyou. Sango also had taken out her weapon and was staring at Kikyou as well as if daring the dead priestess to try anything and her weapon would fly.
Inuyasha shocked everyone when the hanyou walked swiftly over to Kikyou. He stood before her silently, staring at her face for long moments. The moonlight made his hair appear like witchfire, white and hot.
“Do you wish to talk here or do you wish to walk a little and talk out of earshot?” Inuyasha asked quietly.
Kikyou gestured for them to begin walking. Inuyasha knew that he would be pushing things if he tried to speak to the miko out of his brother’s sight. So they chose to follow a path that lead out to a pasture and looped back again to the village.
It was Kikyou who broke the silence, “Did you know that you and Sesshoumaru were to be joined when we met?”
“No. I didn’t have any idea until a few hours ago ... when it happened,” Inuyasha answered her.
“But you are so ... close already. How can that be? To go from hate to love in a few hours?” She shook her long black hair. It looked like a black wave going down her back.
“You of all people should know that love can turn to hate in an instant so why not the other way around?” Inuyasha glanced over at the miko as she gave a little gasp at his statement, recognizing it was to their history to which he referred.
“I thought you had tricked me, Inuyasha. Took my heart so that you could get to the jewel. I was angry. Anger ... rage more than anything else made me imprison you on that tree.”
“I know. In a way ... I am glad that it happened.”
“What?” Kikyou’s head jerked to face him. She stopped walking.
He turned to look at her. “I am glad, because the alternative would be so much worse. Can you imagine if we ... had become closer and my joining with Sesshoumaru happened then? The pain that would have caused you? Now we are not together ... not really. And you can go on ... easier. Both of us can.” Inuyasha scuffed the dirt path with his foot, unable to look at Kikyou’s face. She had an almost frozen expression.
“You think that I can just walk away from you, Inuyasha? Just like that? All of it done? All the longing and the wanting and the waiting? All the pain and the anger and the hate and the ... love? Extinguished because you say that you are with Sesshoumaru now?” The anguish was like a knife. Her lips trembled as she finished speaking and he saw her press them together to stop the involuntary movement.
Inuyasha shook his head. “I am not saying it is easy or ... that you shouldn’t be angry with me or hurt. But Kikyou, I swear to you that I would never have ... tried to have a relationship with you had I know about the joining with Sesshoumaru. I thought he hated me! I thought I hated him! But ... I was so wrong.”
Kikyou looked off at the village in the distance. Her dark eyes showed that many thoughts were passing through her mind, but Inuyasha could not follow them. Finally, she squared her shoulders and her eyes found his. He was eerily reminded of the look on Kagome’s face earlier that night when she had told him that she was not giving him up just because he thought he loved Sesshoumaru now.
“Naraku was the one to tell me of your ... joining.”
Inuyasha snorted. “I should have known that bastard would find out about Sesshoumaru and me. What else did he say?”
“He said little else, but the Wind Sorceress did as she brought me here. She said that your joining is bringing an Ancient.”
“What?” Inuyasha felt his heart beat speed up. “An Ancient? Here? But I thought they were only fairy tales to frighten children with. You know, monsters so evil that even the worst demon would seem benevolent.”
“Unfortunately, they are very real. This Ancient will bring with it another Shikon jewel.”
“Then the first Shikon jewel was also brought here by an Ancient?”
“Yes. Supposedly, such jewels are mere baubles to Ancients. Beads to appease the natives before ... their destruction.”
Inuyasha shivered even though the night was still hot.
“Naraku, of course, seeks the jewel. He is a greedy creature who does not look beyond his own desire to obtain more power. He does not realize the repercussions another Ancient coming to Earth will have.”
Inuyasha had the desire to draw the Tetsusaiga. He found himself staring up at the skies, looking for the tell-tale fireball that would announce the Ancient’s arrival. ‘If that part of the legend of the Ancients is even true! For all we know the thing could be here already. Is that why the animals are behaving so strangely? And what does that have to do with Sesshoumaru and I joining?’
Kikyou continued to speak. “As the jewel’s protector, a story was handed down to me about the time the first Shikon jewel appeared on Earth and the Ancient that brought it. All life from before that time was ... wiped out and new creatures appeared. The demons and the humans.”
“And you think a similar holocaust will happen again? Demons and humans wiped out and replaced with ... something else?”
“I don’t really know. But I think we can be sure that something profound will happen. Every tale of the Ancients is one of fear and loathing. So I imagine whatever will happen will not be good.”
“Why is Sesshoumaru and my joining doing this? I don’t get it. I mean he’s a powerful demon and I’m ... I’m powerful as far as half-demons go, but we aren’t ... well, aren’t all that different than any other beings.”
Kikyou gave him a soft distant smile. “For the first time, I am unhappy by your lack of understanding of your ... uniqueness, Inuyasha. You are so often prone to be arrogant.”
“Arrogant? Hey! That’s not fair.”
“But it is true. You are unique as is Sesshoumaru. I could never pin down what it was. But unlike all the other demons and half-demons I faced protecting the jewel, your difference was as clear as day. I thought perhaps it was only an excuse I gave myself for loving you, but now I see that this difference exists within you with or without the blinders of love on.”
Kikyou laid one of her slender white hands against Inuyasha’s chest. It looked so pale against the blood red of his robes. So small and delicate against his broad pectoral muscles. Strange that such things had at one time made his heart race and his sex ache. Now only the image of his brother’s clawed hand where Kikyou’s rested evinced that reaction.
“Inuyasha, when others discover that you and Sesshoumaru are the cause of bringing this Ancient to Earth they will fall into several camps.”
His head jerked up at her words. They were whispered but fierce.
“There will be those like Naraku who will welcome the opportunity to take another Shikon jewel for their own. And then there will be those who will attempt to anything to stop an Ancient from coming here again.” Her hand tightened over his heart.
“And which camp do you fall into, Lady Kikyou?” Sesshoumaru’s voice was suddenly raised from over Inuyasha’s shoulder.
Inuyasha jerked himself away from Kikyou and turned to see Sesshoumaru with Tokijin drawn. It glowed an ugly pulsing red, hungry for the souls that Kikyou used to continue her unnatural life. His gaze flickered over to Kikyou. She tossed her dark hair back from her shoulders, her eyes glinting in the moonlight like obsidian.
“Before tonight, I believed that Inuyasha and I were meant to be together. I would wish for that to be so again.”
“That is a vain hope, Lady Kikyou,” Sesshoumaru said her name as though it were something unpleasant.
Inuyasha realized that Sesshoumaru did not come alone. All the others were racing towards them as well with Kagome in the lead. She stopped slightly breathless by Inuyasha’s side.
“She hasn’t .. tried to ... to do anything to you, Inuyasha, has she?” Kagome asked, her eyes carefully looking all over his body for marks of violence.
Inuyasha shook his head and placed a comforting hand on Kagome’s shoulder. She was shaking like a leaf, but seemed to calm some under his touch. He wondered what Kikyou had said or done before he and Sesshoumaru had exited the bath to make her so nervous.
Sango was also as tense as a bow. She placed her weapon firmly on the ground in front of her. Obviously ready for a fight. Miroku was at her side ready to follow her lead. Inuyasha almost smiled at the sight of them. ‘He would be well-matched if he would only stop chasing everything with a pulse and settle down with Sango. Kagome kept trying to tell me they belonged together and I failed to see it. Strange now that I’m able to perceive these things.’
“Lady Kikyou was just about to inform us what her plans are in terms of Inuyasha and I. Will she remain his former lover or ... will she become our new enemy?” Sesshoumaru said and Tokijin glowed a bloodier red.
“Would you suffer all of us to be destroyed to keep your joining with Inuyasha?” Kikyou asked.
Jaken snorted. “It is not something to keep or not to keep, miko. The gods determine who is to be joined and such a joining can never be undone. It is a permanent thing.”
“Is it true what the toad demon has said, Lord Sesshoumaru? Is this joining permanent?”
Sesshoumaru’s eyes narrowed into golden slits. “Till death and beyond, Lady Kikyou. There is nothing more permanent than Inuyasha’s and my bond.”
There was a flash of sadness across Kikyou’s face. “Then my decision is made for me.”
“What do you mean?” Kagome wailed. Inuyasha heard the bow squeak as she twisted it in her hands.
“Being a priestess is much more than just protecting the Shikon jewel. It is to protect the human race, Kagome. Surely even you understand that,” Kikyou answered quietly. “Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru’s joining is bringing an Ancient to Earth. Such beings only bring death to those they encounter. It must not be allowed to happen.”
“And how do you propose we stop this being from coming to Earth?” Sango asked, her voice taking on that low deadly quality that Inuyasha had only heard when she prepared to fight Naraku.
Kikyou stared straight into Inuyasha’s eyes as she said, “Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru must be destroyed.”
