Love Of Light and Darkness

A/N: In response to a review, I can see your point. Most of the characters are from YYH but Kagome is the main character so I decided to post it under the Inuyasha category. Then again posting it under the YYH one might be a good idea also. Thanks for review and the compliment.

Chapter Eight

Kagome rolled over on the bed and moaned, her muscles protested. Her instincts told her it was during the day which meant she would get some type of break. Karasu had left during the day for the last three and returned at night. She tried to rest during the day because he refused to let her have any during the night. Her thighs carried bruises from last night's events. He seemed intent on getting her to scream be it from pain or pleasure. He didn't seem to know what foreplay was so it was usually pain at first. She'd only tried to strike out at him once with her powers and they hadn't seemed to phase him. He'd been driving into her body hard enough to cause her pain. She didn't understand it, when she thought of hurting him to get him off her. Something inside her had become angry at the idea. In the end she'd enjoy what he was doing to her.

Last night had been a little different from all the others. She blushed as she thought about it. He'd come in with food and water for her which she had accepted. As she ate he sat on the bed not looking at her so she'd decided to look him over. At some point in her inspection she remembered the night before and her body began to respond for some reason. A blush had crept along her face when she began to get wet. His head turned suddenly to gaze at her. He soon had her on the bed, she had been more than ready for him. The fact seemed to excite him and he wasted no time entering her.

Kagome could remember laying there enjoying it, his moans filling the air. Something inside her began to stir. Then before either of them knew it, she had forced him to roll over onto his back putting her on his lap. The embarrassment she felt had lasted only seconds before some deep instinct told her what she wanted. The shocked look in his eyes egged her on and she had begun to move over him. Suprisingly he didn't stop her as she rode him. His hips had lifted off the bed as he held onto hers. The pleasure had been immense, a part of her had been pleased at his submission. That had started the night's activities. He han't given her any breaks between, his lust had seemed insatable.


She sat up and looked around, 'Wait I'm not on the floor.' Her head snapped around the room, he was definitely gone. Usually after he finished with her he'd take her back to her spot on the floor. She couldn't even remember falling asleep now that she tried to remember. Still why hadn't he chained her again?

Her eyes spotted the food he'd left for her, next to the bed. He had to have known he was leaving her on the bed. She would never have been able to reach the food from the corner. Was he not worried about her escaping?


Shizuru tried to pull on the bonds holding her against the wall. There was only one man in there with them now. If she had to guess he was a shapeshifter, she'd seen him grow body parts that shouldn't be there. Her body was covered in bruises and lacerations. What was worse she knew she had gotten off light compared to Keiko. They seemed to be taking out their hate towards Yusuke on the girl. Even now the shapeshifter was walking towards the girl.

Shizuru could hear her silently crying and calling for Yusuke. Her only hope was that they were found before too much longer.

The man scowled at the detective's name. "You want Yurameshi bitch, I'll give you him." His form changed to take on the form of the young man.

Shizuru screamed at him when he proceeded to strike Keiko across the face. "You bastard, don't believe it Keiko." The girl screamed the boy's name as he continued to hit her. Shizuru knew the girl's mind and body were so far gone she wouldn't believe anything other than what her eyes showed her. He continued to hit the girl while he began to thrust himself in her body. The girl's screams stopped as he pounded into her. She watched in horror as something came out the girl's parted mouth and floated away. "No, Keiko."

The four men entered the door after Yusuke shot the door open breaking the ward on the door. Hiei ran inside and stopped he could barely sense the holy energy. He couldn't sense any of the other women yet. Suddenly his senses picked up on someone else, two people he never thought to see again. "Do you sense that?"

"Yes, how?" Kurama now in his Youko form would never forget that aura. "He should have been dead but it's him I sense."

"Seems the bastard didn't die after all, my guess Bui had something to do with it. We are in the right place. They are behind that door over there. Kurama and I will take those two; Yusuke you and Kuwabara go search for the girls. This place is huge, find them as soon as you can."

"Right." The two men ran off in another direction prepared to meet the youkai running their way to stop them.

Kurama followed Hiei into the next room, the small man knocked the door down. The fox stopped in his tracks at the sight. Bui and Karasu were both indeed there. He heard Hiei's growl at seeing his sister planted on the man's lap without a stitch of clothing on. To make matters worse even from here his scent could be smelt lingering on her.

Bui stopped talking when the doors opened suddenly. His hold tightened on the girl in his lap, pulling her close. His hand remained between her legs as the fire youkai's aura began to rise. "I wouldn't if I was you. You might accidently hit my mate."

"You will die."

"Hand her over, there is no way you two will get out alive. Hand over the five and your punishment will be swift." Kurama's eyes landed on the man that he thought he'd killed years ago. His appearance was still the same but something was different.

"Hmm, you might persuade my men to hand over a few of them but I've come rather attached to my mate. I don't think Karasu will hand over his prize so easily either." Bui watched his comrade stiffen at that comment. He'd suspected as much, he'd never known the man to take a woman more than once. Yet he'd spent every night with her this week.

Kurama heard the comment, "If you've touched my mother, your death will be slow and painful."

"Don't worry, it's called taste Kurama." Karasu responded. He saw the fox bristle at the comment and laughed. Why would he want the older lady in his bed when he had Kagome? Thinking of her made him take a step forward. He wouldn't allow Koenma's team to take her from him. She would remain with him until he decided it was time for her to die. At the insult the fox charged him and Bui made his move.


Kagome was finishing up her food when she heard shouts and a loud noise. Were they under attack? She got up and put her clothes on quickly. Sending a quick thank you to the heavens that he'd left her unchained this morning. The door opened for her, suprising her. Her first thoughts were to try and find the other girls that had been taken with her. She started opening up doors as she ran along. Finally she heard screaming and headed for the door further down the hall.

She opened it to see a youkai trying to force himself on the tall girl. He didn't notice her as she came in. Kagome spotted a poker in the fire blazing in the center of the room. Her hand grabbed the black handle ignoring the heat. Before the man could react she shoved it deep in his back. He came up, arms reaching behind him trying to remove it. She shoved hard slamming it the rest of the way in, blood squirted out the front of his chest as it came through. A groan passed his lips before he fell to the floor.

Shizuru was suprised to see the other girl in front of her, "What's happening?"

"I don't know I think we are under attack. We gotta get out of here." Kagome quickly untied her hands letting her off the wall. They ran over to the other girl who was laying prone on the floor.

"Keiko, what are we going to do? She's too hurt to move."

"Take this thing off my neck, I can try to heal her if you do. If not her body will give out on her." Kagome moved her hair and turned around. The other's girls fingers trembled as they undid the collar. It fell to the floor at their feet. She felt her power kick in and gasped. It had never been this strong before. Placing the girl in her arms, she removed the collar. Kagome tried to concentrate on healing like she'd been taught. Several minutes later her body looked a lot better. "How are you?"

"I'll live, get this thing off me please."

Kagome removed Shizuru's and asked, "Where's the other two girls?"

"I don't know, we were brought in here and left."

"Stay here. I'll place a barrier around both of you, no one will be able to get through. It will stay in place until you touch it." Kagome did it, the power surged from her easily. That done she left both of them in search of the others.
