Sight Of The Blind

A/N: Let me try to explain how I'm trying to work this, (its killing my brain cells lol), I watched most the episodes etc with Yomi in them and he seems totally aware of his surroundings. He can't actually see her with his eyes but I think he can make out everything around him. I'm also assuming he can make out where a person's body is, you know stuff like that. I'm confusing myself here. I just remember the episode where he's fighting Yusuke, for example and he disappears all of a sudden then lightly puts his hand on Yusuke's shoulder from behind. Think it points out he can sense where a person's body part is. But if anyone has any ideas on how I can work this, any suggestions are more than welcome. Just don't call me a blonde, I'm well aware of this fact. Yep Yep! Thanks! *Bows*


Chapter Seven


"Owie," Kagome placed a hand on her cheek, it had to be bruised. That jerk had smacked her hard enough to knock her out. Where was she? At least she wasn't dead, though this migraine was going to kill her before the day was out. Her stomach growled and started to pinch. She opened her eyes, to be staring at a youkai. She looked to be somekind of feline and very old. Kagome stared at her as the lady sat in the chair sleeping.

The miko started getting pissed, that blind dude had taken her somewhere. She wanted to go home, why was she still in the Makai? She quickly got to her feet and ran for the door. The door looked hi-tech to her, no knob but some type of pad on the side with buttons. What the hell, she'd have to enter a code to get out the room. She looked around the room, her clothes were folded on a chair. Her eyes widened; her clothes? She looked down, she was in nothing but her panties and bra. The old youkai started to stir. No time to get dressed, she looked around and spotted the window. It was open, she went for it. Her head stuck out and looked around. There was a ledge extending from the window, she couldn't see where it led to. Her stomach dropped it couldn't be no more than six inches wide. If she stepped wrong, she'd fall who knew how far.

She pulled herself out, it took several moments for her to get out and up. She let her back hug the building and tried to calm her breathing. She heard yelling from inside and began to move. She was a couple feet from the window when a head stuck out, it was the old youkai. The lady started screaming and was gone. 'Great now what? Surely they know where this thing goes, they'll be waiting for me.'

Taking a deep breath she looked down and almost fell. Dizzyness hit her, wow she was high. The ground could be seen but if the fall didn't kill her the sudden stop at the bottom would. There was no way for her to get down, no where to go. If she jumped, she'd break a few things. What she wouldn't give for a trampoline right about now. 'Wait maybe, a barrier will act kind of like one. I might not bounce but shouldn't it take the impact not me.'

Someone yelled her name, she turned her head. Two people were looking at her from the window, Yomi and some guy with long silver hair and cute ears. The one with silver hair started to climb out the window. 'Here goes nothing.' She erected the barrier and leapt off. She closed her eyes as she fell. The ground jarred her as she hit, the barrier broke and she rolled on the ground. "I made it." She sent up a quick thank you.

Youkai were all standing around her staring. Her name was being called, she took off. Her aura flared, causing the youkai to give her a wide berth. She got to another wide door, it was locked. She banged on the controls, lights came on but the door stayed shut. "Open up you bastard." Footsteps were heard behind her. She brought her foot up kicking the pad, the keys busted and sparks started shooting everywhere. The door slid open, she continued on her run ignoring the pain in her foot.

Her heart stopped, there was youkai everywhere. Her eyes looked up, a city. She was in a city containing creatures that would want her dead. Yet none of them attacked, simply stared at her curiously. How the hell did she get out of here?

"Kagome." Kurama yelled her name, Yomi was ahead of him.

She turned her head seeing the two after her. Giving up, she sat down on the hard surface. She pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face. It wasn't fair, she wanted to go home. She was being picked up suddenly and placed against a hard chest. "Put me down, I can walk you know."

"No, you can't. You are bleeding." Yomi started the trip back inside with Kurama beside him. The girl didn't say anything as she placed her head against his chest. Her aura was still going, so Kurama walked a few feet behind. Youkai began gossiping as they walked past.

They traveled for several minutes before Kagome picked her head up when she entered a room. It was much like the one she'd been in but larger. He placed her down on the bed and stepped away. "Send someone to come look at her foot, she'll need something to eat also."

"Very well." Kurama left them alone.

"You will not run again." He informed her.

"Like hell I won't, who do you think you are?"

"The one person you are now stuck with. It is for your safety that you stay. Believe me I don't wish for you to be here. I'd prefer it if your human stench was elsewhere." He heard her gasp and continued. "If you leave these walls not only will you be hunted for the jewel but my enemies will try to kill you. Your death means mine, I will not allow you to leave."

He had a point but she wasn't going to admit it. Would she be safe here until a solution was found? Did she really have to put up with him until then? "Fine." Did she really stink that bad? Maybe he just didn't like the smell of humans?

"Come I will take you to your room so you can bathe."

Okay so it was her. She stood up, feeling the cut on her foot protest. She trailed behind him not speaking. What a jerk, he wouldn't smell to good either. Not like she'd had a chance to wash.

He escorted her inside once more and stopped at the door. "Someone will be in shortly to see to you." The door slid closed between them.

She looked around the room was now empty. There was a small door off to the right, she went for it. It opened when she got close, it was a bathroom. Her heart soared at seeing the shower stall. She quickly took off her panties and bra, it took several minutes to figure out the controls. That done she stepped under the warm water. It felt relaxing as the water pounded on her flesh.

There was a few bottles hanging on a rack. She wasn't sure what was which, she picked one up. It smelt good, she squeezed some on her hand. She lathered her hair with it and began to hum to herself. She stayed in for another twenty minutes thinking while she washed.

She climbed out the stall and grabbed the towel. There wasn't a robe or anything for her to change into. She dried her hair as much as she could with the towel before wrapping it around her body. Maybe she had to ask for some clean clothes. The door opened on it's own as she was brushing through her hair.

A youkai stood there with a large grin on his face. He was almost as tall as Yomi with long blue hair and black beedy eyes. He glared at her while she was too shocked to move. "Now, I finally have a way to kill him."
