Chapter 8
Koga’s entrance.

Inuyasha could also sense his mates fear and bolted up out of bed finding the scent of her and his brother, he followed it until he came upon Sesshoumaru’s room. Without knocking Inuyasha kicked in the door.


“What the fuck happened?” He growled, his ears flatting on top of his head.


Kagome recognizing the voice ran over to him and hugged him with all her might. Inuyasha held her tight in his arms, looking up at his brother with confused eyes.


“Oh thank God you are ok.” She said now looking up at him, tears still staining her cheeks.


Smiling down at her, while wiping the tears away. “ Of course I am ok love, but you do not look so hot.”


She released his embrace, turning to go back and sit on the bed, she wanted to be alone, and she was confused. “Why would someone be after us?” She questioned.


“Would someone please explain to me what the fuck is going on, who is she talking about?” He growled.


“Calm yourself brother, I as well have no idea, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it is Naraku.”


Inuyasha knew better not to cross his older brother, and calmed down, reaching his gaze back on his mate. He walked over to the bed; his arms pulled her into him.


“I am sorry my love, I was just concerned.” He said softly rocking her back and forth in his arms.


“Let us get some rest, maybe there will be more answers in the morning.” Sesshoumaru said.


They finally rested with Kagome in the middle of the two brothers. Soon they drifted off to sleep.

As the night when on the two demons kept making there way to the western lands.


“So what is your name?” Koga asked unexpectedly.


The guard just glared at him. Ignoring the wolf prince, he quickened his pace, and leaving a confused wolf.

“Hey what the hell is your problem?” Koga yelled, catching up with the nameless guard.


“Did it ever occur to you your highness that I am still on a mission and would much like to make it back with out any trouble.” The armored guard said, still looking away from the wolf prince.


Koga chuckled at the behaviorism of his new travel companion. Making their silent voyage back too the castle.

The sun was rising in the distance an orange glow slowly made its way brightening over the horizon. The trees came to life, while birds sang their morning tune flying overhead the two demons.

“Is it safe to talk now?” Koga questioned trying hard not to laugh. When catching the look of the stoic guard.


A low threatening growl, answered Koga.


They approached the main gates. The guard led Koga to the living room and ordered one of the servants to attended to him


The servant bowed to Koga.


“Is their anything that you would like?” She asked the prince.


He looked up at her beautiful features, she had soft white skin, her hair was long and black, her young eyes held a pure innocence.


“Damn she was still a pup.” He said to himself.


“What is your name?” He asked.


She bowed her head and said. “My name is Rin, I am Lord Sesshoumaru’s ward and his personal servant. Now please are you hungry?”


Food did sound good, still shocked that he had received the highest respect for the Western Lord.


“Yes, breakfast does sound good.” He said with a smile. Standing up and bowing to the girl as she made her way into the kitchen.

The sun finally broke in through the glass doors lighting up the room. Kagome was the first to stir. She attempted to get out of bed, when a plethora of hands held her down on the bed.


“Please my love’s I am ok, I just need to get up and stretch.” She whimpered.


They released her; she made her way out of bed carefully crawling over the still lazy dogs. Bringing her arms over her head she stretched. A quick yawn, she turned her head around and found them both asleep. She quietly began too dress, and left the room.


“Breakfast does sound good now, and between the both of them, one could easily starve.” She said laughing to herself.


She made her way into the vast room where books adorned the shelves and the room was well furnished. She did not notice a man sitting in one of the chairs, as she continued towards the kitchen.

Koga sat in a large back chair; with his, one leg crossed over his other leg. The chair’s back was facing the two large doors. He had heard them open and caught a whiff of Lavender and Jasmine, hinted with a twinge of pine.

He could not believe his eyes as she nonchalantly walked passed him. She was the best looking demon he ever came across in his life.


“To bad she is already taken.” He said sadly. “ I can not let her walk away.” He thought scolding himself for not letting his presence unknown.


“Excuse me.” He said.


Kagome stopped walking, she sniffed the air, not realizing anyone was even in the room; she was still lost in thought that his presence even escaped her.


Koga forgot how to breathe when she turned around, when her golden eyes met his brown ones.

“Who are you?” She hesitated, still with confusion in her eyes. Hoping it was not the voice, she heard last night.

Koga stood up, giving her a respectful bow. “ My name is Prince Koga, and I am the ruler of the Northern Lands.”


She blushed of the formality, he used on her she was still learning to be a lady herself. With little experience, she decides to mimic the Prince.


“My name is Lady Kagome.” She said shyly, not knowing why she was even talking to him, for all she knew he could be dangerous. However, she thought against it since his presence seemed harmless.

Inuyasha was the first to wake, he remembered her saying she only wanted to get up and stretch. He growled when realizing she was not in the bedroom anymore.


He looked over at his brother, the annoyed look on his face revealed that he too was up. Getting out of bed and grabbing clean set of Sesshoumaru’s clothes. They exited the room and followed her sent and a sent of another.


“Calm down brother! I know that she is fine. So behave yourself, or at least try not to embarrass me too much.” He said running his hands across his face.


The doors gradually opened, Kagome stood up and walked over to her mates. Koga noticing her sudden retreat, he also stood up acknowledging them with respectful bows.


“Lord Sesshoumaru it is so nice to see you again.” He said, then looking over at Inuyasha noticing that the beauty was wrapped in both demon lords’ arms.


Lord Sesshoumaru bowed then introduced Kagome as his mate.


“Yes I do believe I’ve already have had the pleasure of meeting her this morning.” He said bowing to Kagome again then looking over at the two brothers hoping they would not murder him for his wandering eyes.

“My lord with all due respect, but I could see why she would end up with you Lord Sesshoumaru, but I am still puzzled on why she would of chosen Lord dog shit over there.” He said with a slight hint of amusement.


Inuyasha growled. “ Why you filthy wolf, how dare you disrespect me in my own manor! I should come over there and knock some sense into your worthless brain.”

Kagome tensed up when she saw Inuyasha tense up she could feel his anger as well, but she did not want to witness any fight. Nevertheless, it was already too late. Before she knew what was going on Koga and Inuyasha where fighting in the middle of the room. Sesshoumaru just shook his head and looked over a Kagome, who was still staring in aw over the two demons. She could see that they were not really trying to hurt each other; it looked morel like playing than to be threatening.


“That’s enough!” Lord Sesshoumaru said. “Stop acting like pups, I have a meeting to attend too, and my time is being wasted by your sparing. Please you can continue this outside when the meeting is over.


Koga laughed aloud, reaching his clawed hand to Inuyasha’s shoulder. “Its good to see you old friend, I do hope I get too see you again before I leave.”


Inuyasha nodded and gave a grin to the wolf demon as he walked behind Sesshoumaru.


“It was also nice to meet you Lady Kagome, I also hope to see you again.” He said forgetting that the young beauty was in the room. However, he had gotten a double growl from both the brothers and could not help but laugh, at their possessiveness. “Who could really blame them?” He said to himself.

Inuyasha walked over to Kagome and gave her a big hug. Kissing her lightly on the forehead.


“Are you feeling better my love?” He asked.


“I will be if you let go of me so I can finally have some breakfast.” She said, flustered and trying desperately to get out of his grasp.


“I thought we already established breakfast my love.” He said huskily into her ear. Loving how the redness of her cheeks suddenly lightened up.

“You wont be able to have me for breakfast if I don’t get real food into my system.” She growled. Her fang parted her lip showing it off. Her left ear on the top of her head twitched rapidly.

Looking down at her he could not help but chuckle, holding her tighter.

“You are very sexy when you are angry my love.” He said with a lustful grin. As his lips came crashing on to hers.

Breaking the kiss, she grunted and managed to get out of his grasp. Turning to him once more, but before she left the room she couldn’t help get one more throw in, just to prove her point.


“Inuyasha.” She said with a lustful tone. “I may look like breakfast to you, but that doesn’t mean that you’re going to have me this morning.” She said while turning away from him and exiting the door.


“So that is what you think.” He chuckled and sat down on the sofa; patiently waiting for his mate to be done with her breakfast.
