It all started with a Nameless Beauty

Author’s Note: Well? How were Sango, Miroku, Shippou, and Kirara? In character enough? I hope so… I tried to. I’ve seen most of the Inuyasha episodes so they should be pretty close. Thanks for all the reviews! Tell me if you have any suggestions! I’m open! WIDE OPEN!!!
This chapter is MUCH longer than the last one… but any chapter was longer than the last one huh? Hehe. Sorry about that. Well, this is longer and more interesting/exciting than the last one, so have fun!
I do have some questions though:
What do you think about Kurama and Kagome meeting in the future?
Do you want me to put Kouga in here? Or will that be TOO confusing?
Do you guys want Sesshoumaru to be cruel (in character), or soften up and be nicer (OOC)?
So if you are reviewing, please answer! If you don’t care, I’ll make my own decision.

She quietly sat in a well-hidden area, waiting for something to show up in her field of vision. She only had to wait about 5 minutes before she heard a rustle to her right.

~~~Chapter 8~~~
~~~With Youko~~~
Youko sat at the top of a tree, brooding like our favorite hanyou, doing God only knows what. He had this nagging feeling in the back of his mind. It’s always the same feeling… the one where you think you forgot something.
Breathing in the cool crisp air of nature around him, he finally decided to go check up on his little “catch.” He jumped from the tree and started off towards his lair once more.
On the way there, he reached inside his pockets to only discover – DUN DUN DUN! – his keys were missing! With this newly discovered information, he went top-speed to the cave, where he found his clan a “little” beat up.
‘How in the WORLD did this happen?’
His men weren’t GREAT fighters, but he knew they weren’t pushovers. He stalked towards one of his men, “What happened here?”
“It was that girl you brought back. She just came out of the cave, and we tried to keep her inside. B-But she wouldn’t listen! She then started charging at us! N-No one could stop her! Maybe YOU could have, but WE couldn’t. She was far too good,” he paused, “But surprisingly, no one was killed, she tended the wounded and made sure everyone was well before leaving. ”
Youko digested the information and asked, “Do you know where she went?”
“She headed West, I think she was looking for someone. She sniffed the air before she left.”
Without any other words, Youko left in the direction, in which the sun set.
~~~With Inuyasha~~~
Inuyasha sped across the forest floor, catching the scent of his companions. He had gotten a little side-tracked earlier.
An aroma lingered in the air, a aroma that enticed him. It was jasmine. ‘Kagome is back!’, thought Inuyasha. ‘Finally!’ But as he followed the trail, he came upon a not-so-pleasant scent.
Arriving to a clearing in the middle of the forest, his eyes rested upon a lone figure of white. There stood his half-brother with his back towards him, almost waiting for him.
“Sesshoumaru!” Inuyasha yelled. “Why the HELL do you smell like Kagome?”
Sesshoumaru simply turned around, stared at the lowly hanyou, and rotated his head back to its original position. “It is of no concern to you.”
Inuyasha stared back, and retaliated, “What do you mean ‘of no concern to me?’ Anything that has to do with Kagome, has to do with me!”
“I don’t see a mark on her, Inuyasha. She is not yours, and she is not mine, but I will make sure that she WILL become mine.”
Inuyasha’s eyes flashed red, rage deep inside threatening to spill over. Inuyasha took up Tetsusaiga and swung it with all his force, determined to slice his brother in half. ‘Kagome was HIS’
Inuyasha’s possessive nature seemed to have burst out of his soul. She was HIS and no one would take her away.
His attack was blocked my Sesshoumaru's Toukijin. The swords clashed, over and over again. It looked like there was no end to their fight, or at least until Sesshoumaru just took to his cloud and floated away, tiring of such foolish games. He left not only because he was bored out of his mind, but also because he smelled a certain someone nearby. Fighting with his brother made him lose track of his surroundings.
Inuyasha, on the other hand, wasn’t as calm as his brother. He stood there, sword in hand, staring at his brother. ‘Why did he want Kagome? She was human! And why did he leave?’ Taking deep breaths to recuperate his strength, he noticed something in the air, Kagome!
~~~With Kagome~~~
She was prepared for anything that would come out. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins. She needed to hunt. Her animal instincts were taking over. The thought of a predator chasing its prey was exhilarating.
She waited silently in the shadows until she heard the rustle again.
Suddenly, another was heard to her left, and another in front of her. Her head spun from paranoia, and also in confusion. Was she the victim of a hunt? Was she the one being hunted? Did youkai really hunt in groups?
Her thoughts were shoved out of her mind when instinct told her to run. She didn’t know why, but she did. Hopping into the trees, she ran at full speed. Her fear seemed to have dulled all her senses. She couldn’t think straight. Panic blurring everything, she ran with three figures following closely behind.
She knew it was the wrong decision, but she did it anyways, she turned her head to see who were behind her. But as her head turned, her foot missed a branch and she fell to the floor.
She lay, belly-up, staring at the sky. Nothing was registering in her mind. Why wasn’t she running? Wasn’t she being chased? As if on cue, the three pursuers surrounded her.
Kagome lifted her head slowly off the ground, trying to regain her balance. As soon as her eyes focused, they widened with surprise. “WHAT!?!”
She reached into her bag and pulled out three kunai. She threw one at each of them and stood up abruptly. She charged at the one in white. “What the HELL are you doing scaring me like THAT!!!” Anger was clearly written on her face. She punched him in the face and proceeded to the next one, the one with armor. With adrenaline still pumping in her veins she punched him in the gut, “And YOU! What the HELL are you trying to do!?! Kill me?! You guys scared the SHIT out of me! I thought you WANTED me! But I didn’t know you wanted me DEAD!”
Last but not least, she stepped towards the one in red with a finger pointed, “And YOU!” her tone softened, “how are you?”
**A/N: Do you know who they are yet? I’ll give you a clue. They all have silver hair**
“U-um, I-I’m fine.” Inuyasha replied. “Anyone who can beat Sesshoumaru is on my good side!” he tried to add some humor to impress her,
Youko leaned against a tree for support, he was feeling quite dizzy, and Sesshoumaru kneeled on the floor holding his stomach. ‘Boy did that girl have a punch! How did she even touch this Sesshoumaru? Let alone harm me?’ Inuyasha just stared at the stranger who just beat the shit out of his brother and another youkai. She was beautiful and an inu hanyou!
“That wasn’t very funny, Inuyasha.” She replied.
“Wait. Do I know you?”
“I’ve been getting that a lot lately. It’s me! Kagome!”
Inuyasha stared in disbelief, just as Sango and Miroku did earlier that day.
“But you’re a hanyou! What happened?”
“It’s a long story. I’ll tell you when I have time. Or I could tell go when we go hunt. I told the others that I would go get food.”
“Hold it! How do I know you’re REALLY Kagome. You could be a fraud and lead me into a trap.”
“Um…” she thought with a finger slightly in her mouth, drawing the 3 pairs of eyes to her luscious lips. “I could always say the command for those rosary beads…” Kagome smiled.
Inuyasha gulped, “That’s ok Kagome. I believe you… hehe….”
The two hanyous walked away side by side chatting about the recent events.
Little did they know that the two full demons finally recovered from the blows and advanced on them. Kagome was too occupied telling her story, and Inuyasha was too confused about the sudden changes, neither noticing the approaching demons.
Her arm was suddenly seized by a clawed hand belonging to a kitsune, while the other was clutched by the inu youkai.
