The Storm before the Hurricane
The Storm before the Hurricane
Sitting with Inuyasha's mother in a smaller garden behind the Palace walls they watched as Inuyasha ran and played around innocently while Sesshoumaru stood watching from a window on the second floor.
He was debating weather or not to tell Tikya about his feelings. He wasn't one to share these things or show emotion towards much and thinking of showing it towards this female made him feel slightly disgusted but he knew he had to if he was to become her mate and only hers, to let her know she was his and he wanted her.
His father had left only an hour ago with a group of soldiers and guards for a business thing not going into it to much so he couldn't discuss it with him and he did not want to discuss it with his human wife.
After his mother died and his father took the human in replacement he did not like her very much and the half breed they produced was a shame to their family. If this war was definite then Sesshoumaru would tell Tikya...
Tikya jumped up and rushed to Inuyasha before he fell into the pond and lifted him and spun him around playfully making the child laugh and when she placed him down she folded her arms lightly watching him run about again. The small half demon made Tikya long for a child of her own. Inutaisho was so happy with his new wife and son but she knew Sesshoumaru had other feelings towards them.
Lifting her head slightly to the left she moved her eyes to the window Sesshoumaru stood in and smiled slightly then looked back to Inuyasha as he brought a small rose to her.
Tikya was playing with Inuyasha while his mother the Lady of the Western Lands sat watching them with a smile. It was late afternoon now and still Inutaisho wasn't back.
Suddenly Tikya stood hearing running foot steps in the garden and turned to the guard.
The look on his face terrified the Lady of the West and Tikya glanced as she held her son close.
"Lady Tikya I was instructed to come to you right away." he said in a rush of breath. "Lord Inutaisho has gone to see Ryu..."
"Get to the point!" she shouted angrily but her eyes were filled with concern.
He had gone against her and left himself instead of her, what was that old dog thinking?
"He has not returned. Find him and bring him back. He has gone to the east just north. We fear he may be lost." with out another thought Tikya was gone in a blur, leaving the Lady of the West to worry for her husbands and cry.
Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes slightly when the guard came into view and his heart skipped a slight beat when his step mother snatched Inuyasha and started crying. When Tikya left in a rush so did he.
Tikya was out of her Kimono and into her battle gear in less then a minute. She tied her hair back and pulled on her helmet not using the door. Instead she jumped out the open window calling her green demon cloud under her and sped off into the east, her hair fading to green and her eyes blood red then bright green.
The Lady of the West was still in the garden with the guard getting the detail and Sesshoumaru was dressed for battle following Tikya on Ah-Un, his two headed dragon stead.
It didn't take long for him to catch up to Tikya who was slaughtering Ryu's minions left and right slicing her way through to his father who was badly injured and fighting for his life. Dropping to the ground he used his claws, whip and sword to get through the enemy crowd.
"Inutaisho!" She shouted out over the howls of pain from her victims. She made her way to him but was stopped by a large reptile demon who whipped her hard by spinning and using his tail. She flew back through the pieces of his fallen comrades but got back to her feet with a spin of her legs ina helicopter motion and pushed off her hand on the ground. Lowering herself into a crouch she held her demonic sword to the right and growled fearlessly before rushing the demon before her.
There was an ear piercing scream from the demon as her sword went through him then Tikya herself trailing her poison claws along his insides. She didn't pay any attention to his fallen corpse when she reached Inutaisho who was now on his knees.
Pulling him to his feet she sheathed her sword and called forth her whip holding the great lord to her closely.
"Hold on." she told him going onto her tip toes. When they started to spin the demons closed in on them...
Standing with a limp Lord in her arms Tikya panted slightly. All around them were corpses of demons but just in sight of her eyes was a crowd fighting someone else. When the last of the enemy fell she saw who it was and gave a growl.
"Get out of here Sesshoumaru!" she snapped at him. "Take your father back!"
Sesshoumaru did not question her and called Ah-Un to him. Placing his father before him the young Lord took to the sky's back to the palace. Once a far distance away he saw demons close around Tikya but he couldn't stay his father would die...he couldn't let that happen.
Tikya glanced to the sky where Sesshoumaru vanished and turned back to the demons closing in on her from every direction. Drawing her sword she leapt high into the air clear of the demons and thrust her hand out, a bright green flicker was seen then vanished. The entire army under her stopped dead when a green ball formed in the center of them then exploded spreading faster then wild fire out burning them to nothing. The whole area filled with screams then, nothing. All that was left was a crater the trees and everything around charred but where the blast had been nothing stood. Tikya brought her sword up suddenly as something came at her. The blasts ripped part of her armor from her body and burned her flesh knocking her to the ground far below...
