Chapter 8
She awoke with Sessormaru still holding her. She looked out the window it was still dark.
‘I hope Karamu isn’t made at me.’ She gets up and moves with such grace and speed that no one could tell she left.
She walked into Karamu’s study. “You’re late. Where have you been?” She bows to him “With Sessormaru.” He approaches her and smells over her body. I see he has finally marked you. “Yes milord. He and I are now mates.” She smiles but it disappears before he can notice. “You must take care of the child and not let Sessormaru see him” He snaps “at all my dear slave.” Her eyes get big and her jaw doesn’t want to work. She just nods and bows before leaving.
She summons a glass of poison with the vibrant taste and smell of tea. She walks to Suzu’s room but hesitates before walking in. Your majesty Lord Karamu wishes you to drink some tea to calm your nerves. “He wishes nothing more than me to die a slow painful death.” Her head lowers “I know that he wishes you were better but if you do not drink this I will suffer with his majesty.” She sighs and grabs a hold of the cup. “Tae, why do you not look at me?” Tae looks at the floor as it were inserting “I am changing my birthday is tonight and now I will change into my other form at midnight.” She lied looking at the bed now. “Good night Tae. See you in the morning.” Tae left with out a word and went back to Sessormaru’s room to sleep.
She crawled back in bed with him. ‘He’s still asleep.’ Before she got back in bed she stripped herself of all her clothes. She snuggled into the warmness of his chest.
He woke up later than usual that day only to Inuyasha screaming.
He put on a robe and walked down the hall. “What’s wrong with you brother?”
He asked with a yawn. “My mother died last night. WHAT ELSE COULD BE WRONG?” he yelled at his brother.
Tae walked into the room with a soft silk pink robe “What’s wrong Inuyasha?” she asked a little worried. “You did this I know you did.” Sessormaru wrapped his arms around her protectively. “Stay away from her Inuyasha.” Karamu said behind both boys.
‘She may have killed her but she only did what I asked again.’ He thought as he watched Sessormaru and his acts ove. ve.
‘I may of killed her but it was her own fault for believing me. She deserved to die. That bitch was just in the way of my plans to kill Karamu…….’
Her thought were interrupted by Inuyasha crying.
“I’m sorry for your loss but I must be going myself.” Tae said a little sad.
Sessormaru let her go for he knew that this would happen.
He walks her back to his room where she can get her stuff.
When they entered the room Sessormaru asked “Why must you leave so so Tae Tae looked up at him “You knew as well as I did last night was out last. I must be off to find a new palace to stay. I want to be with you but I must keep away from you until the child is born or else we can never be together.” He held her on last time and kissing her on her lips. “I love you and I always will.” She smiled and hugged him “I love you too. See you around.”
She left Sessormaru behind standing on the balcony. He went back to his old ways being cold and emotionless. Someone knocked on the door. “Enter.” Karamu walked in the room. “Where has Tae gone?” he asked. “She left for a little while and she will be back”
He said. “When your done staring off into space join me and Inuyasha in the study.” He said “after all it is his birthday.”
Sessormaru walked down to the study and looked at his stupid brother.
‘Tomorrow I will look for Tae. I miss her already.’ Sess thought.
With Tae………….
“Now that I have done your task and removed the Human from the house of Karamu…….” She said “you must do my favor.” He nodded and looked at her with grief in his eyes “What might your favor be princess?” She cringed at the title he gave her.
“To kill Karamu and make sure that Sessormaru finds him dying.” He smiles and nodes to her request.
Her eyes glowed a yellow color and death sizzled in them. “How does one in ein eyes like that?” she glared at him “If you ask me anything else I will kill you with my eyes. If so dare as tough me I will slit your throat in your sleep. You got that.” He nodded “Now get out o my house you fucking whore.”
She left towards the well. ‘Why am I drawn here?’
Before I go I must in trust some one with the “Shikon no tama” She walked to the nearest village “Where is Kikyo the high priestess?” the man bowed “This way milady.” She fallowed him to a small hut where Kikyo sat out side. “What can I do for you?” The priestess asked. “I wish for you to protect this. Please don’t ask how I obtained it.” She said rather fast. “Please how did you get it?” she asked. “My mother was the one who created it. Now please take it so I can leave.” She nodded and took the jewel. Tae disappeared with out anything else said.
Tae walked through the forest and to the well. I hope what my mother said about going to the future is true.
