Chapter 7



Inuyasha and the gang walked along Naraku’s palace in search of Kagome. Koga was following close by. He knew if he followed them it would lead him right to Kagome. “I’ll stay behind them for now and when we get to Kagome I will take her away.” “Inuyasha I believe we are getting close. I sense a lot of power up ahead” said Miroku. “Then let’s hurry” shouted Inuyasha. They all sprango aco action searching for there missing partner.



Kagome moved closer to Kikyo. “This can’t be, there’s no way you could have broken my spell. “See now that’s where you’re wrong. We are one in the same Kikyo; I can tap into your powers now. I will make them mine as well. “I won’t believe that, you have never learned to use anything but your stupid bow.” Kagome looked at Kikyo with nothing but hate in her eyes. “Its funny how love and anger can bring some things to light. Oh and if you haven’t realized it by now, I have broken your barrier field around the castle. Inuyahsa and the others should be here any moment. Kikyo say red, she was beyond angry now. “How dare she challenge my powers, she is a weakling, how dare she do this to me. I will fix her. She may have my powers but she doesn’t know how to use them all.” Kikyo smiled at that thought, she would have to teach this woman a lesson in powers she would never forget. Unknown to Kikyo and to Kagome herself she could hear everything Kikyo was saying. Kagome was coming into her powers faster than she had assumed. “Why is this happening Miyoga? I can hear her thoughts.” “Your powers are advancing at an extreme rate. Maybe they are trying to catch up with you since you have been with out them so long. “If I can hear her thoughts can she hear mine?” “I’m not sure Kagome, she didn’t know you broke free and she di hea hear you telling Inuyasha our plan. I think maybe it’s because she is not truly the Kikyo that once lived. Remember she was brought back by that evil witch, so she may not have all of Kikyo’s true strengths.” “Well that’s good to know it may help us get out of here.” “Just as Kagome finished her sentence she felt Inuyasha coming closer. “I’m here Inuyasha” Kagome screamed. Kikyo turned to where Kagome screamed and saw all of them coming towards her.



Inuyasha stopped at the door he saw his beloved and ran to her. Inuyasha embraced Kagome in a passionate tight hug. “Are you okay Kagome,” “Oh yes my love I am fine. I am so glad you found me.” Inuyasha looked into her eyes and told her “nothing and no one will ever stop me from finding you.” They held each other in a tight embrace and kissed. You could hear clapping next to them. “Oh how sweet” said Kikyo with a menacing stare. “You may have gotten past my barrier but you won’t leave this castle alive.” “Haven’t you noticed that there is nothing you can do to stop us Kikyo give it up” shouted Sango. “You are pathetic, there’s nothing those two wouldn’t do to find each other” screamed Miroku. “They love each other why can’t you just leave them alone” said Shippo. “Oh please I’m tired of all of you. Inuyasha belongs with me and only me. It will be either alive or in death but he will be with me. Inuyasha and I will be the only ones leaving here.” “Kagome will also be leaving here and it will be with me.” Everyone turned to see Koga coming through the door. “Oh god I thought you were dead” said Inuyasha. “No only stunned Inuyasha, now move away from Kagome so I can get her out of here.” “What is wrong with you two, can’t you see we don’t want you. I love Inuyasha and he loves me that will never change no matter how much you try to interfere. We will never stop fighting for each other or give up on one another. That’s what true love is all about. You two have no idea what that is. You don’t own either of us we choose to love freely and I chose Inuyasha a long time ago as he has chosen me. Just let us be and go find peace and love elsewhere. If you don’t I guarantee you will die this day. I will not have this happening to us again.” Everyone listened to Kagome pour her heart out; she was truly hurting. Inuyasha looked at his Kagome he thought to himself how far she had come in there years together. She was a stronger woman now and he knew that she would always be his true love and his companion. He also knew he had to end this. This could not keep happening to them. Koga stood by Kikyo getting ready for anything. He would help her kill them but not Kagome. Kikyo was mad she shouted “enough! None of you are getting out of here. I have had it with all of you. You will see true evil power and it will destroy you all. Everyone looked at Kikyo. What was she saying and what did she have in store for them?
