Sesshomaru's Evil Intervention
A/N: Sesshomaru will become Kouga’s enemy in this chapter. He will decide that Nikah is not a good enough mate for Kouga because she is human. I still do not own Inuyasha. Enjoy!
Chapter6: Sesshomaru’s Deadly Intervention
Sesshomaru left Kouga’s mountainous territory still quite upset about Kouga’s mating with that human wench. It was no doubt that she was beautiful because even though Sesshomaru hated humans he knew beauty when he came across it. However, beauty had nothing to do with the fact that it was just dishonorable for demons to mate with humans. He despised humans and that did not exclude Kouga’s human wench of a mate. Sesshomaru clenched his jaw tightly as he continued thinking about Kouga’s pathetic human mate.
His mind began to race with the many thoughts that floated around in his murderous brain. ‘That wench will bear Kouga weak half breed pups! She cannot fight or even defend herself! Why would Kouga mate with her? She is beautiful but I would not mate with her. I would have sex with her but she would never bear my pups!’ Sesshomaru entered his large palace and sat down on his soft down futon.
He was still thinking heavily about Kouga’s worthless human mate. ‘I have to do something to help Kouga. He is clearly blinded by his feelings for that stupid wench. I shall take her away from Kouga’s territory and then I shall kill her!’ Sesshomaru smiled as he began planning to pursue his pure evil intentions. Jaken entered the room to find his master smiling.
“My lord, you’ve returned!” “Yes Jaken, but I will be leaving again tonight.” “But master, where are you going?” The dog demon smiled devilishly at the little toad demon. “I’m glad you asked Jaken, it’s simple really. I went to pay my friend Kouga a visit and discovered he had taken a human woman as his mate. You know how much I despise those disgusting creatures!”
“Y-yes my lord!” Sesshomaru’s anger was beginning to frighten the little toad demon. “Kouga refuses to abandon the useless wench and find another suitable demon mate.” “What are you going to do master?” “I’m going to kidnap that human wench and bring her back here.” “What do you plan to do with her then my lord?” “I’ll kill her of course! What did you think I was going to do with her you fool?”
Jaken trembled in at at his master’s blunt words. Sesshomaru waited until the sun had sank below the horizon. He left his palace when the first small handful of stars began to twinkle against the midnight sky. ‘Alright you weak and useless human wench, I’m going to rid Kouga of you forever!’ He sprinted at an incredible speed through the dense woods of Inuyasha’s Forest. Sesshomaru smiled to himself as he quickly approached Kouga’s mountain territory.
He knew that he would have to be careful because Kouga would have some warriors standing guard. Sure enough Sesshomaru caught sight of Kouga’s loyal followers Hakakku and Marix. He quickly and very quietly scaled the mountainside above their heads. Sesshomaru crept inside Kouga’s cavernous den and began looking for Nikah. He had to quickly conceal himself behind a boulder as he heard an approaching pair of footsteps.
Soon he heard Kouga’s gruff voice echo through the den. “Nikah, where are you going this late?” “I want to go down to the lake and get some fresh water.” “Take Marix with you.” “Okay. Don’t worry Kouga, I’ll be fine. I’ll be right back, you’ll never even get a chance to miss me.” Kouga grinned. “I miss you already.” Sesshomaru rolled his golden eyes in disgust from behind the boulder.
“Now go to bed, I’ll be back before you’re even asleep.” She gave Kouga a chaste kiss on the lips and headed out. Nikah instructed Marix to accompany her to the lake. Sesshomaru quickly left the cavern and followed them at a safe pace. He hid in some thick bushes near the lake. Nikah carefully filled up the two large water urns and handed them to Marix.
Marix turned and began heading back towards their territory. The young wolf demon froze when he heard Nikah give a shrill cry. He let go of the water urns and turned around to see if Nikah was hurt. Marix was shocked to see Sesshomaru holding Nikah tightly around her waist and neck. He cried out in a quivering voice. “Y-you let m-my queen go n-now!” Sesshomaru chuckled nonchalantly at Marix harmless threat.
“Come any closer boy and sli slit this wench’s throat!” Marix stayed where he stood in fear of Nikah’s life. “Tell Kouga that he doesn’t need to worry about this human wench any longer. Now he will be free to find a suitable demon mate to bear his pups!” Marix watched in astonishment as Sesshomaru sprinted off with a captive Nikah as his prisoner.

He climbed up the mountain and found Ginta was taking over guard duty for Hakakku. He stopped out of breath from running. Once Marix had caught his breath he began to inform Ginta of Nikah’s abduction.
“Ginta, where is King Kouga?” “He is in his den. Where is Queen Nikah?” “She’s been taken!” “What? Taken wheBy wBy whom?” “She’s been taken by Sesshomaru!” Ginta turned and ran into Kouga’s den leaving Marix standing there alone underneath the dark sky. Kouga would be furious when he found out about Sesshomaru taking his pregnant mate.
