"I take it this is it?" Bankotsu questioned as he pulled back on the reigns and stopped the horse just a few feet away from a rather large fence. Glancing to his right and then to his left, Bankotsu followed the fence with his eyes as far as he could, but he couldn't find any sign of it ending. "His property must be huge."

"He never mentioned it being quite this big," Jakotsu informed him as Bankotsu dismounted and then helped him to do the same. "We'll stay on this side of the fence for now; no sense in getting ourselves shot for trespassing in the middle of the night," Jakotsu insisted as he helped retrieve their belongings from the horse's saddlebags; in no mood to deal with another onslaught, especially one that should be easily avoided. As he turned back around, it wasn't hard for him to notice the 'now what' look Bankotsu was giving him.

"We'll make camp here for the night. It'll be a lot easier to get their attention without getting wounded during the daylight. If our fire doesn't alert them of our presence for us before then," Jakotsu informed him, finding himself wondering why Bankotsu was letting him make all of the decisions, but soon chalked it up to it being someone that he knew that they were trying to meet up with.

Once Bankotsu had a nice fire going, they both unrolled their blankets and got situated for bedtime. "Why didn't you change back into your dress? Wouldn't your friend know you as female?"

"He knows my true gender and besides, we're most likely gonna have to do a lot of physical labor to pay for the horse. Such a thing is much easier to accomplish when in pants instead of a dress," Jakotsu informed him before giving him a smirk. "Besides, I wouldn't want to be ruining your gift, would I?" Instead of answering, Bankotsu just shook his head with a smile before laying down fully and closing his eyes.
