SUMMARY: “Go Ka- go- me.” The short phrase came out in choppy but harsh as Inuyasha gave his order. It seemed that in a moment of clarity he ordered the wench to leave for safety, but Kagome was having difficulties moving, much to the annoyance of the demonic hanyou. Inuyasha opened his mouth and yelled. “NOW!”

CHAPTER 75: Zero

Kikyou slowly opened her eyes, her head hurt causing her to moan loudly in pain instead of pleasure. She tried to move her hand to cradle her head but found she couldn’t move them, and when Kikyou tried to speak she couldn’t. Her tongue felt dry and her mouth like a wad of cotton had been stuffed in it. Kikyou’s vision came to clarity, she found herself lying on the parking garage cement floor. That sent a red light alarm off in her mind. Kikyou struggled to sit up when a low hissing sound like that of a lizard dare laugh at her.
“Well bitch, it looks like you are done for.” Samou limped up behind the struggling whore from behind the column Kikyou was tied to. “What’s the matter? Not so high and might are you now?” He slowly moved around to face the fucking skank.
Kikyou’s eyes blazed with fire. She tried to lunge at him but found herself immobile from ropes she had be hog tied with.
Samou laughed at her when he heard he muffled attempt to swear at him through the gag he up in her mouth. “Careful,” he warned. “I wouldn’t move around to much your violent motion might set the bomb off early.”
Kikyou stopped. Her frozen form could not really move anyways, but the tone in the hideous lizard youkai’s face told Kikyou that. She watched him point a finger to a device sitting adjacent to her. ‘Damnit!’ Kikyou screamed, she didn’t notice that bomb before, but then a new horror filled her every cell in her being. The fierce red numbers on the digital clock now showed less then one minute before the building blew up.
Samou saw tears start to come to the beauties eyes, but he had not sympathy for her. None what so ever. “Ah, is the pretty bitch going to cry?” Samou’s voice was almost like a caress. “How does it feel knowing you are never going to see anyone again?” He got down on his knees so that he was eye level with Kikyou. “How does it feel knowing that you will never be able to spread those long legs of yours again for a good fuck?” Samou’s wounded and scared hands caress the outside of Kikyou’s thighs from the hips to the knees. His fingers were leaving traces of his blood over smooth skin and soft white material as Samou made his path. He watched her turn to side to side get away from him, but to no avail. Samou smiled before breaking contact with her. He lean over to the side and picked up the bomb with one hand.
Kikyou cringed at the assholes touch, but more so because of all the questions he was asking her. Somewhere deep inside Kikyou knew she wasn’t going to get out of this alive. Her black-brown eyes closed shut trying not to think about the youkai in front of her. All of a sudden she felt a painful pressure on her knee squeezing them open. ‘What the fucking hell is that green bastard doing?!’
Samou could smell Kikyou’s fear and angry roll off her in a tidal wave. He held her thighs apart before he spoke. “Well, I can’t give you the banging you deserve, but...” Samou paused before bring the explosive device between Kikyou’s thighs. “this might give you what you been looking for.” With that Samou got up and left the parking garage.

“Hahahaha!” Samou laughed in sickening delight at the bitch’s unintelligence. Had Kikyou been smart, she would have realized that the piece of cold metal and plastic wedged between her thighs was nothing more than a digital clock counting down time. The real explosive device was behind the column that she was tied to.

As the skirmish continued between Sesshoumaru and Naraku, Inuyasha continued to become more and more agitated. He finally gave in entered into the battle.
Kagome watched as Sesshoumaru took the offensive while Naraku was barely able to defend himself much less attack. Then it struck her, ‘where the heck is Inuyasha?’ Kagome turned her head in time to see the demonic hanyou ran back down the hallway. Her gray blue eyes watched in concern for the two men in her life that she loved more than love in battle with the bastard that brought nothing but heartache to their lives. But something wasn’t quite right. As if in slow motion, Kagome watched the scene play out like something from her nightmares. There was Sesshoumaru assaulting Naraku with his katanna. Laceration could be seen covering the spider demon’s body, but not a scratch on his opponent. Then Inuyasha somehow came on the scene, and managed to rip through Naraku’s back wounding, however; it resulted in Inuyasha being thrown into Sesshoumaru. Both inu-youkais fell hard to the ground landing in a heap, but that small lapse of time it was enough for Naraku to change directives.

Kagome felt herself getting off the floor as she watched Naraku turn and give her an evil unearthly look before he leapt at her. Kagome opened her mouth out and let out a scream that tore through the wall of the building. Instinctively her hands shot out in front of her face as she anticipated the oncoming impact.
Sesshoumaru could feel something being impaled against his leg then pain searing throughout his body. He bit his cheek holding back a pained moan when he opened his eyes he could see his katanna stick through his leg. Sesshoumaru was brought out of his reverie when he realized Kagome was screaming. That brought him out of his wanderies and into the here and now. Sesshoumaru stood up from the ground and noticed his brother had beaten him down the hallway. His red eyes for just a fraction of a second filled with relief, but it was quickly replaced. Inuyasha had rescued Kagome.

Inuyasha was a little dazed from being thrown hard to the ground but recovered with speed. He saw his mortal enemy turn and jump toward Kagome with his deadly spinsters snapping open and shut ready to kill her. Somewhere in his locked up soul Inuyasha had a burning desire to save her. Inuyasha’s nails sunk into the abdomen of the Naraku ripping the black smooth skin even more preventing Naraku from landing on his destination.

Kagome could feel a slit twinge in her thigh. At first it felt like a needle was being inserted in the back of her thigh causing a mild irritation, but then it turned worse. She bit her tongue hard and drew blood as the sensation developed into sharp skewering of her muscle and bone. Kagome swore it scorched her as she awaited the inevitable impact on the oncoming Naraku. But nothing happened. She peeked over her arms and saw Naraku writhing in pain held suspended in air by a rather intense looking Inuyasha. Kagome swallowed the bitter metallic blood the slowly seeped from her tongue.

By now the entire city was flocking to Naraku Incorporated building. Police and Japan’s National Guard (JNG) had the entire block surrounded. Masses of people where scrambling to get away from the war zone under the protection of police and JNG while many of Naraku’s henchmen were being apprehended and arrested.
The landscape was in utter chaos while Sesshoumaru’s security team was out of the building safely and awaiting their employer’s return. They had formed a circular unit back at the vans trying to get a hold of Sesshoumaru via radio device. Meanwhile Bankotsu was debriefing the head of command for the police force and the National Guard on the status of the situation at hand.
Ginta was swearing loudly has he thumbed with the dials trying to get a better frequency to contact Sesshoumaru. He was setting a furious pace desperately wanting to know what the hell was going on in that blasted building.
Hiten, Jakotsu, and Hakkaku were busy lugging their equipment out of view from others as they chucked it back into the back of the van. They knew the drill, don’t get caught. The team couldn’t afford anything screw ups, not with the JNG around. If the JNG even caught sight of some to the weapons they were packing they’d be in deep shit. Most of what they had was as illegal as hell to carry, but when in war nothing is fair.
Hiten felt something approach the van. The aura it gave off wasn’t human but youkai. He turned around like lightening ready to strike, but stopped his attack in mid air. Hiten’s complexion paled slightly from his golden tan to a piss yellow as he stared at his comrade. The one his fellow team mates thought had fallen. Hiten thought he was seeing a ghost. “Samou is that you?”
The lizard youkai nodded painfully before collapsing to the side of the van.
“Shit!” Hiten bellowed out loud earning the attention of Hakkaku and Jakotsu. The two youkais watched as Hiten moved with quick reflexes catching Samou in his arms. They were just as stunned as Hiten was.
‘Damnit all if it wasn’t that lizard youkai!’ Hakkaku grinned. His pale was rather beat up from the looks of it. Hakkaku wondered what ran him over to make Samou look this bad.
Kakkaku and Jakotsu walked over to Hiten and started drilling Samou, but what his uttered silenced them all.
Samou whispered in a scratchy voice. “Bomb.”

Kagome got up and made a wide arc, as farther as the narrow hallway would allow, and raced to the other end. Somewhere in the forefront of a logical thought, Kagome notice that the pain in her leg was receding, but the other still throbbed from where she had cut herself. Kagome saw Sesshoumaru leaning up against the wall, but he was covered in blood from the chest down. To her, he was the very picture of a noble warrior wounded in battle but did not let onto any pain. ‘Damn him!’ She cursed. Kagome halted in her steps looking mortified at the man, no taiyoukai before her. Kagome could feel her heart bleed out, Sesshoumaru may not feel pain, but she did. ‘No Kami, please don’t left him die!’

Sesshoumaru heard Kagome curse him mentally and looked at her full on. He noticed she stopped in her track just a few feet away from him. Sesshoumaru thought that he scared her, but now was not the time for Kagome to be frightened. His blood stained hand slowly extended out to her while the other was enclosed around his katanna. “Kagome, come here.” In a blink of an eye the distance that was between them closed.

Inuyasha threw Naraku into the wall making his demonic body crunch against the unforgiving wall. He howled loudly like a battle cry into the heavens. Inuyasha wanted to end it now. He thought his opponent was off guard from being knocked into the wall, so Inuyasha attacked with a vengeance. However, Inuyasha but found himself knocked into the ground with Naraku’s spidery figure looming over him ready to rip out his jugular.

Sesshoumaru looked up and saw Inuyasha being taking down by Naraku. With one hand he lifted his sword up like a javalon by the side of his head then let go full force at his target.

Kagome barely registered Sesshoumaru’s actions. Her eyes could recognize Inuyasha body being held on the floor by two black legs as the spider demon came rearing forward to deal a fatal blow.
