Chapter Seven

Kagome's Furry!...
Sesshoumaru apologizes?

Sesshoumaru wakes early in the day he is up to greet the rising sun. "Jaken, I am leaving for three days."

"The Human."

"She stays...put her back to work. Diamond doesn't fool me, I don't trust her." Sesshoumaru stares out the window in deep thought. "However, I will pay a visit to the Elf." He turns and tosses something on the table. "Jaken, put this on her morning tray."

"My Lord." Jaken looks in disbelief. "You give a gift...Why?"

Sesshoumaru turns to Jaken with his normal expressionless face. "Have you ever seen me smile Jaken." Jaken thought and thought and thought, "Nope" never has he seen his Lord smile. Sesshoumaru looks back out the window. "She made me smile."

"Smile?" Jaken looks at him baffled as baffled can be. "For a smile, you give a gift."

Sesshou ign ignores Jaken's question. "Very well then... I will return in three days. Sesshoumaru glides past Jaken, "Make sure she receives that Jaken!" He is gone.

Ash sits on the ground looking out over the mountain's edge, a cool breeze blows in and he lifts his head to let it wash over his face. The cool breeze makes Sango whimper in her sleep as she curls closer to Miroku. Miroku wakes to her movements and looks over wrapping an arm around her he sighs happily and relaxes. "Master Miroku" Ash's voice travels back to his ears and Miroku jerks to a sit.

"Ash?" Miroku questioning with surprise.

Ash sits frozen eyes locked onto the bright sky. "I need a favor." Ash announces as he stands his back to Miroku "Can we talk?" He takes to walking in slow strides. Miroku quickly moves to make sure Sango is all tucked in, he dresses in only one robe as he scurries to catch Ash.

"Umm... Ash how long were you there?"

"Since the sun kissed the sky." Ash smiles "mere minutes ago."

Miroku gives a sigh of relief "What is the favor?"

"Do you really want to know your future?" Miroku looks at him oddly as they continue the stride.

"I understand..." Miroku smiles with confidence "Sango paid with her confession last night and now you have been sent to tell me my future."

Ash stops and turns to him "wrong" Ash smirks "I was just simply trying to get the idle chat over with..." He begins his steps again. "I'm the one asking the favor." Miroku stands dumfounded a second before he catches up to Ash.

Kagome yawns and stretches welcoming the new day, curled up around Shippo and Kirara she is in Sango and Miroku's bed. "Inu..." Her eyes snap open "oh yeah..." She sighs and slowly pulls herself from the bed moving to look out over the balcony. Looking down she spots Sango walking towards the castle, then suddenly Inuyasha jumps out of a tree landing in front of Sango. Kagome's body stiffens with anger "Why that jerk dog mut flea bitten ass" word after nasty word spilled out through her tightened lips. "What?" her eyes bug out as she witnesses Inuyasha placing a hand on Sango's shoulder. "NOW HE FLIRTS WITH SANGO WHY THAT..." and her mouth fills once again with uncontrollable rage.

"Sango" Inuyasha greets when he lands in front of her. "Where is Miroku?"

"I don't know" Sango trying hard not to sound broken hearted.

"Will you do me a favor" He asks as he places his hand on Sango's shoulder. She looks up to him with curiosity. "Kagome seems upset with me for some reason, will you talk to her?" Sango smiles and nods. Inuyasha smiles a warm thank you before leaping off into the trees.

"So then what is this favor you want." Miroku asks

"Your prayer beads.... Could you give them up?"

"But...They...I..." Miroku stutters to answer.

"I know very well Master Miroku, what they do and I know why you wear them. What I ask is...Could you give up? up?"

"I could if need be."

"That is my favor."

"You want my prayer beads."

"I want you to give them up, but not to me" Ash turns to him "here!" he pulls out a string of prayer beads made of tiny purple crystals weaved on a rope made of a plant stem, at the very end dangles, in the deepest of purples, a tear shaped crystal. "I offer you this to replace the ones you'll loose. It to can hold back your hands furry and this one" he gives it a shake and it chimes magically. "Can even stop your wind tunnels growth."

"Stop?" Miroku questions "How can that be possible?" he reaches up to stroke the beads in all their glory.

"However" Ash continues "You must not place this over your hand until the others are no longer in your possession...Understand!"

Miroku nods in understanding as Ash drops the beads in his open hand. "But who?"

"You will know when the time comes."

"How?"

Ash smirks "you will hear what no one else can." Ash quicdisadisappears leaving Miroku standing in deep thought.

Lulu wakes almost in shock as she looks around her room 'Home' she smiles. Gathering her stuff, she hurries out of the room only to trip and fall over the tray that had been sat outside her door. 'No Way!' Joy, joy, joy covers her face as she reaches down and picks up her 'MUSIC' Lulu says excitably as she stands to do the happy dance.

Miles away Sesshoumaru's body cringes as joy runs through his bones "GRRRR!... even this far away I feel her."

Lulu stops mid happy dance and frowns 'does he think this makes up for everything?' She shrugs her shoulders 'well I guess it's a start.' She smiles as she happy dances down the hall.

Sango reaches her room wondering all the way, where Miroku had gone. "One and and his staff was gone but why leave me there?" Sango sighs, stupid monk not thinking again. Sango enters to Kogame on the bed red face, arms crossed and one leg bounces up and down each movement pushed by anger.

"Kagome?" Sango asks wondering what is wrong.

"That stupid...demon...dog...jerk..." Kagome didn't even notice Sango as her anger grew. Lips pressed tight she chants a few more names.

"What did he do to work you up so bad?" Sango sits down beside her.

"Sango" Kagome says in surprise. "I didn't her you come in."

"Obviously." Sango sighs. "What did he do now?"

"He loves Kikyo"

"How do you know?"

"I Just Do!" Kagome places her nose slightly higher in the air.

"How?"

"Because I DO!" Kagome huffs and storms out of the room. Poor girl hshe she gets over this soon.

Inuyasha jumps swiftly through the trees he has the scent now...almost there..."Ash" He smiles as he lands in front of him.

"Lord Inuyasha" Ash smiles with a slight bow. "Top of the morning to ya!"

"I have another question."

"Yes?"

"Do you know where I should begin my search for this so called Diary."

"Sesshoumaru travels to Thikmoan forest, that is west. However I think you should travel north and search the cave of treasures."

"Cave of treasures?"

"It is a cave with a magic spell on it only those that have human blood can enter. In its dark halls hides many treasures of Demons and gods. But..." Ash turns to look him in the eyes "To take a treasure you must replace it also and your hands can only touch the treasure that is truly yours."

"I see... but I have no treasure to replace it with."

"Yes...Well your treasure may not be there so your only mission is to look for now."

"And then what?"

"I am sorry Inuyasha" Ash turns to look out over the mountain as a breeze blows by. "That is all I can tell you." Inuyasha steps up beside Ash and lets the breeze wash over him. Both standing unmoving as the wind brushes back their hair. Ash stands taller yet both are broad and strong looking. Ash's cape flies up as the wind's speed picks up Inuyasha's fire red rat pants flap against his legs.

Lulu is spending her day happy as a schoolgirl as she dances and cleans. Gathering all the old scrolls and such putting them where Jaken had told her.

"Yes...Yes" Jaken stands greedily rubbing his hands looking at all Lulu had collected. Lulu stands changing her CD she was going to listen to as much as she can before he decides to take it back. "My Lord will be pleased with all I have found."

'You!' Lulu shoots him a dirty look but unfortunately for him, he cannot hear her. 'Why you...flat headed...eye bugg'en...ugly green midget' Lulu advances toward Jaken coming up from behind. Jaken stands on a chair, mouth watering and hands rubbing 'I worked my ASS off to gather that shit' Lulu calmly taps him on the shoulder. Jaken turns to see a smiling Lulu, then suddenly WHAM! Jaken flies from the chair only to slide down the wall on the opposite side 'Asswhole' Lulu nods content and happy placing the headphones back on she dances out of the room.

"Ash" Inuyasha breaks the silence. "Did you know my father well?"

"Like he was my own."

Inuyasha fights with asking more questions about his father "Is the Diary for real?" he spits instead.

"Yes." Ash turns to look at his golden eyes, they look lost yet found, Ash gives him a warm smile. "Like your father Inuyasha...you lack the vision to see right before your eyes." With that, Ash gives a bow and disappears.

"Humph."

"LORD SESSHOUMARU!" A voice cackles from the shadows. Sesshoumaru however ignores the annoying cackle and continues on his puff. Suddenly as if pushe a l a large hand Sesshoumaru flies off -back smacking into a tree and sliding to the ground with a thud. "DO NOT INGNOR ME!" the voice cackles again as Sesshoumaru stands to his feet.

"All that for my attention. Tell me..." Sesshoumaru stands brushing himself off. "What is it you want?"

"I want what you seek!"

"Which is?"

"Don't play coy with me" the voice snaps and Sesshoumaru is thrown back into the same tree.

Sesshoumaru stands tall -really pissed, concentrating all his senses to find that person behind the voice. "I am simply on my way to see a friend."

"Don't make me laugh" the voice cackles, "We both know you have no friends."

"Well at least we are clear on that" Sesshoumaru's eyes narrow as he stares beyond the trees focusing in on the source of his anger. Quickly he moves, almost invisible, snatching the annoyance up by its neck holding it to look in its eyes. "That means you are an enemy." Sesshoumaru spits with great furry.

"Put him down Lord Sesshoumaru."

"Ash" Sesshoumaru's eyes flash red as he digs his claws deeper into the annoyance Looking up he holds a thin neck in his hand, with six arms trying to pull out his claws and two legs desperately trying to kick him. Sesshoumaru tosses it aside to turn his focus on Ash. "Why are you here."

Ash smirks "to piss you off" he bows slightly "Of course" he disappears with a laugh.

Miroku snapping out of his daze hurries back where he left Sango, but she is not there. Scooping up his robes, he ts wts walking with sadness in his heart. "Bet she is pissed." Ash and Inuyasha stand by the main entrance as Miroku walks up.

"I am heading north to treasure cave." Inuyasha announces

"Then we all go." Miroku calmly replies and walks past them "I will go get ready to go". Miroku continues in a snails pace going over and over in his head what he is going to tell Sango. Upon opening the door he scans the room with a sigh of relief he steps in and shuts the door.. Suddenly Sango shoots up out of the bathe flipping her hair over her head. Miroku freezes; deep breath in, face turning red- froze. "I...I...SORRY!" He spits as he turns around. Sango giggles. Miroku's head tilts infusifusion "you mean your not made?"

"I was."

Miroku turns to look at her "Why...What..."

"I ran into Ash earlier" Sango smiles "Want to join me?" Miroku's head instinctively scans the room for unwanted eyes. "Well?" Sango begs with a bite to her bottom lip.

"Kagome" Inuyasha jumps in front of her "I have been looking for you"

"WHY?"

"Why?"

"YES WHY?" Kagome snaps her head to look at him while her finger comes to his chest. "WHY are you looking for me? Why...Why...Why" Inuyasha gets a firm poke in the chest every time she says why. "WHY would you care where I am? Why...Why...Why" Inuyasha was beginning to hate the word why as much as he hated sit. He just stands jaw dropped being poked in the chest. "You don't know WHY do you Inuyasha...Well I will tell you why. Her that is WHY" poke...poke...poke...she turns and huffs away.

"WOW! She is a blistery one" Ash giggles popping up beside Inuyasha. They both watch as she disappears.

Inuyasha reaches up and rubs his chest. "More like a thorn"

"My...My..." Ash laughs harder smacking Inuyasha on the back "What cruel jokes Love does play."

Sesshoumaru is pissed Ash has succeeded, and his anger grows as he looks for that annoyance. "Finally" he reaches down in a bush to pull that annoyance out. "Did the cretin that saved you send you?" Sesshoumaru asks as he shakes it, digging in his claws so not to loose his grip.

"Goth" the poor thing barley manages to speak as it fights with all its might.

"Goth? the tree elf."

"Yes" pant pant cough cough "with a message"

"Then why the game, why not come forward." Sesshoumaru loosens his grip just a little.

The annoyance shrugs all six shoulders "I was just trying to have a spot of fun." It smirks

Sesshoumaru tightens his grip again. "The message!"

"Don't come empty handed" the annoyance spits as blood runs like water down his throat.

Sesshoumaru grew even angrier at that statement.. Snap! Crunch! Thud! Poor annoyance. Sesshoumaru growls deep as he turns towards his home.

"Kagome's not coming" Sango announces with a sigh.

"WHAT?" Inuyasha barks and starts stomping towards Kogame, wherever that may be.

"Lord Inuyasha." Ash smiles. "Maybe Miss Sango will stay with her and you can be back that much sooner. I assure you they will be safe."

"I will stay." Sango smiles. "We will be fine."

"I will take you to the foot of Crystal Moin."in."

"The sooner the better" Inuyasha pouts.

Lulu decides to call it a day as she starts to heat water for her bath. Humming, singing and happy all day, not even that little Tiff with Jaken got her down. 'Nope! Today was a good day' she lines around the bath some candles, for the torches don't give much light in the servants quarter. 'Yeah and where the hell are they all?' Lulu continues preparing for her bath because it is going to be long...hot and 'Well Deserved' she smiles as she adds some, suppose to be, shin softening soap beads, they melt instantly when they hit the hot water. Inhaling deep Lulu 'mmmm's at the pleasant aroma. Finding a stool, or a bench or 'What ever it is...it a table now' she places it by the bath and starts topping it with all her necessities, such as shampoo, soap, razor, facemask, foot scrub, back brush, blow up bath pillow, walkman, CD's, pipe, weed and SAKE!

Sesshoumaru heads for home by foot not really in much of a hurry. He felt Lulu's joy dance within all day, which may be the reason he seems so testy. "GRRRR!" then there is Ash's little game. "What is he playing?" But the one thing that really set him off "Don't come empty handed" He knows what that means, "One of my Fathers tricks. He wants me to travel everywhere with her...But why?"


Ash, Inuyasha and Miroku all stand at the foot of Crystal Mountain "If you walk through the nigh you should be there midday" Ash announces.

"And if we jump through the trees?" Inuyasha smiles.

"By sun rise" Ash returns his smile "now I must go" he pulls a crystal out "I promised a friend I would visit" with a flick of his wrist, he is gone.
