Chapter Seven - Whatever You Like
The next two days for Rin passed by in a flash. She and Sesshomaru were closer than ever, InuYasha didn’t hate her anymore and she found a pair of shoes to wear with her dress. It was the day of the party and Rin was ecstatic. She was so excited for the party that she actually ignored Kayouya—which was a first—and got through the day in no time at all. On top of everything, she got to go home early … as did everyone else because Kouga was feeling generous … ‘Either that of he got some …’ Rin thought to herself and laughed as she pulled up into her driveway.
When she entered her house, she plopped down on the couch with her phone in hand, and called Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru turned and looked at his clock—5:14. “You have … got to be kidding.” He sighed. Today must have been the most … boring day in his life. He had nothing to do at all. Sesshomaru was in his third year at University—he was science and biology major—But he had no classes today … the same as all Fridays. He would’ve called Rin, but she was at work … And not even his dimwitted brother could even phase his boredom.
Sesshomaru let out another angry sigh before he heard his phone ring.
“Hello.” He answered in a bored tone. Not even bothering to look at the caller ID.
“Sesshomaru, My Darling! How are you?” A cheerful voice rang through the receiver.
He was puzzled at first … This wasn’t Rin. Then the realization of who it was hit him … hard. “How the fuck did you get my number?”
“Don’t be so mean Sess!” The voice sounded crestfallen.
“What do you want Kayouya?” Kayouya and Sesshomaru shared a, none too pleasant past together. They met at a club—Kayouya approaching Sesshomaru of course—and hit it off. That night Kayouya got Sesshomaru into her bed and they began dating. After about 3 months, Sesshomaru found out that Kayouya was sleeping around, while he was completely faithful. He broke off their relationship with some all too colourful words, and walked out of her life. He thought for good…
“Oh Sess I want you baby.” She tried to sound seductive, but to no avail. Sesshomaru was completely uninterested.
“I don’t accept affections from … people like you.” He hung up the phone. What he really wanted to say was he didn’t accept affections from the common whore, but held back on the last part. His phone rang again and he growled angrily and answered it, “I thought I told you to—“
“Sesshomaru…” Rin interrupted him mid-sentence.
‘Oh shit!’ He cursed himself in his head and said, “Oh Rin! Sorry about that!”
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, just some people don’t know how to give up.”
“Oh well, I just called to tell you I’m home. But since you seem so annoyed, you don’t have to come to the party anymore …”
“No, I want to. It’ll be fun, how was work?”
“It was alright, although I didn’t really pay much attention to what was going on. How about you? How was your day?”
“It was … boring.” That was the understatement of the year.
“You could’ve gone out.”
“Yeah I know, but I guess I didn’t really feel like it today.”
“Alright, but if you still don’t feel like—“
“If it’s with you then I’m fine.”
“Awe, you’re so sweet.”
Sesshomaru laughed, “Thanks. But I’m gonna get ready now Kay?”
“Alright, love you Sesshomaru.”
“Love you too Rin. Bye.” Sesshomaru hung up and went to get ready.

Rin hung up the phone and looked at the time. It was 5:23 Rin shrugged and went upstairs to take a shower. It was now 5:47 and Rin just walked out of the bathroom. She was wrapped in a pink towel as she made her way to her bedroom. Exchanging her towel for her outfit, she proceeded in putting on what little makeup she wore. Before she knew it, she heard a knock at the door.
“Hey Sess,” Rin said with a smile. But before she could continue his lips were pressed to hers in a kiss so passionate that she thought she would melt. When they finally pulled apart Rin was blushing.
Sesshomaru smiled at her and said, “Hello beautiful ready to go?”
“Yeah, let’s go.”

Sesshomaru parked the car near the building where the party was being held. He looked over at Rin who seemed anxious as she looked out the window of his Mercedes.
“Rin …” Sesshomaru held the hand that was in her lap. She looked at him and smiled, “Let’s go Sess.”
He smiled and let go of her hand, ready to go inside the building when he heard her voice again, “Hey Sess, wait a second.” He turned back to her when he was surprised when her lips pressed to his.
“Now we can go.” Rin smiled at him before she got out of the car.

Rin and Sesshomaru made their way to the hall that the party was being held in and almost immediately found that table that Kagome and InuYasha were sitting at. “Hey guys” Rin said happily as Sesshomaru and InuYasha shared a mutual glare. InuYasha was stop mad that Sesshomaru dragged him down the stairs—by the hair—on that day over a month ago.
“Hey Rin,” Kagome said with a smile as she stood and hugged her.
“Hi.” InuYasha mumbled, still glaring at Sesshomaru.
A few minutes later while the group were talking, a couple came and sat in the extra chairs at their table. “Sango, you made it!” Kagome said happily as she waved.
“Who’s this?” Kagome continued as she motioned to Sango’s guest.
“It’s my boyfriend Miroku.” Sango said happily. “Miroku, this is Kagome, Rin, Sesshomaru and InuYasha.”
“Well, such beautiful ladies,” He smiled. Sesshomaru shot Miroku a warning look and InuYasha just laughed. After a while everyone got more or less comfortable with each other and it was progressing to be a fun evening.
By around 8 o’clock, they started to play music. At first some mediocre music to lighten the mood, then they started playing music you could really dance too.
At first they all just sat at their table, but Rin really wanted to dance. More or less, the only thing holding her back was … Sesshomaru. She didn’t really know if he knew how to dance, well the kind of dance she was thinking about. So she thought that she could just sit … at the table, and maybe still have a good time? Nope. Just then the music went down, just enough so they could hear the DJ talk,
“This one’s for the sexy ladies out there.” Just then Whatever You Like started to play. That was Rins breaking point. She stood immediately, “Sess, let’s go.” She took his hand and led him straight to the dance floor.

‘That whore!’ Kayouya was royally pissed. He wouldn’t come here with her but came with … with … WITH RIN? Oh hell no! She walked up to the kissing couple and tapped Sesshomaru on the arm. “Yeah,” He took Rins hand and brushed past Kayouya who was on the floor. Awe, poor baby fell over … Sucks to be her in the morning. They walked through a crowd of dancing people and saw InuYasha and Kagome near the back of the group, ‘Kagome was raunchier than ever.’ Rin thought with a smile.
Rin heard Sesshomaru chuckle as they left, “What’s so funny?”
“InuYasha can dace … Never thought of that before.”
Just then Rin heard Crazy by Pit-bull blasting, and wished she stayed. But she had other plans for the rest of the evening. They drove to Rins house—driving far too fast—and pulled into Rins driveway. “You’re coming in.” Anyone could tell you what that wasn’t … a question.

How did you like that? I actually had fun writing this chapter. I mean that doesn’t happen very often but yeah. I hoped you liked that. I know I sure as hell did. And sorry for not putting the lemon in this one … But I’m saving that steamy scene for next chapter. This one would be way too long if I continued. But I’ll be working on the next chapter a.s.a.p. So don’t worry about it. I might even be done today, you never know ;)
