Chapter 7

Chapter 7
It was night time and Inutaisho had just arrived from a visit to the northern land and was gazing out of the balcony from his study…
“Father.” Sesshomaru called his attention.
“Yes my son?”
“I found Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru said in monotone. “But he’s with the elves.”
“The elves!” Inutaisho said surprised “but they look at demons as their enemy how can Inuysha-“
“Inuyasha has the royal seal. It seems to me that the royal family adopted him.” Sesshomaru explained “but what intrigued me is that I don’t sense youkia but instead a vast amount of spiritual powers and to be able to live in a place where ones youkai and youkai powers are suppressed by magic.” He audibly inquired to himself.
“It is because of his mother.” Inutaisho offered. “His mother is a goddess. But her powers were suppressed when she decided to live here.”
“So that explains how he can use elven magic…” Sesshomaru. “But his youkai?”
“That is one thing I don’t know Sesshomaru… maybe the seer can help us with it.” Inutaisho
Back at the elves…
“But mother! How can you let this happen?! Mother! Inuyasha deserves to know!” Jamima commented.
“I know Jamima… but it has been done… let’s say I can do something about it… but he was brought to the lands of the gods and goddesses, even if I’m the queen of the elves I also have my limitations.” Elvira said
Philander turned his back and walked outside the study. The two stopped their argument when they heard the door close.
“Where is he going?” Jamima asked.
“I think I know where.” Elvira said… “I know it’s hard for you to do this… but Philander…” she thought to herself.
Inuyasha was reading a book, a book about eleven magic and healing that Jamima instructed him to study when he gets back from his mission, when somebody knocked on the door.
“It’s me… Philander.” Philander said from behind the door.
“Come in.” Inuyashsa said as he set the book he was reading on the bedside table. With that, Philander entered the room with his stoic composure.
“If you may excuse me my Lords” Elixor said when he got up from his seat and left the room for the receiving area feeling the seriousness of the conversation that is about to happen.
Philander looked at Inuyasha intently “How are you feeling brother?” he said as he walked slowly to Inuyasha’s bed.
“I’m ok now… a bit dizzy but I can manage.” Inuyasha replied and a bit nervous from the stare he’s receiving from his brother.
“Inuyasha.” Philander said as he sat on Inuyasha’s bed. Cupping his cheek “I have something to tell you…” Philander said in a serious tone. Inuyasha feeling the heat from his brother’s hand melted in his caress. Inuyasha closed his eyes and opened it slowly seeing his brother’s face inches to his.
“Philan-“ Inuyasha was not able to finish his sentence for he was, in an instant, in a heated kiss. Inuyasha melted more in the kiss and let his brother carry his weight as they kissed with utmost passion. With much needed air they released each other’s lips. Inuyasha still dazed was not able to understand what Philander was saying.
“Inuyasha? Inuyasha?” Philander called to his brother and he softly shook him.
“I’m sorry… what was that?” Inuysha blushed.
“I have something to tell you Inuyasha…” Philander said in monotone.
“What is it?” Inuyasha said confused.
“Inuyasha…” Philander paused and looked at his brother’s confused face waiting for him to continue. “We are not your real family.”
“What?” Inuyasha asked more confused.
“We are not your real family Inuyasha… I’m not your real brother but a second cousin, mother is not your real mother but is only an aunt. The demon that you fought with, Sesshomaru, is your real brother.” Philander tried to explain.
“So you mean If that Sesshomaru is my ‘real’ brother… meaning I’m a demon?” Inuyasha said sarcastically.
“Yes”
“And you are not my real family.” Inuyasha said in a matter of factly tone but still has a hint of sarcasm.
“Yes Inuyasha.” Philander said in monotone knowing that his brother is not believing what he’s saying.
“hahaha!” Inuyasha mock laughed “Ok Philnader that’s funny…but you have to be more creative sometimes… because your sense of humor is really questionable. No puns intended at that!” Inuyasha teased.
“Inuyasha. I’m telling the thruth!” Philander now said exasperatingly.
“wahahaha! Now that’s funny! I really love it when you get really annoyed.” Inuyasha almost fell of the bed.
“Inu-“Philander was cut short when someone talked to him in telepathy. “Your efforts will just go in vain my dear grandson Philander…” Luna said.
“Grandmother Luna… why are you doing this!” Philander said recognizing the voice.
“The demons don’t deserve my grandson. I will not let Inuyasha suffer like his mother in the hands of those demons.” Luna said emotionless.
“But he deserves to know the truth! Why can’t you just let him choose his own path?!” Philander argued.
“Because his only path is with the elves and not the demons.” Luna said still emotionless.
“No grandmother… he deserves to know… and I’ll make him believe.” He said in determintion
“do what you can dear grandson… but all your efforts will be in vain… the spell has it’s own ways of staying, it’s own ways of protecting itself… make him believe… but his mind wont believe anything.” Luna said with no sort of emotion.
“How do I remove the spell?” Philander asked his patience slowly being burned away.
“It is not you who can remove it Philander… its Inuyasha himself.”
“How!” Philander said exasperated of his grandmother’s lack of answers.
“In due time Philander… In due time…” Luna said boding.
“Philander… grandson… when you come out of this gaze… you will forget what you came to Inuyasha for… and instead… say why you are with Inuyasha. You have my blessing at that… more than anybody else… I want you to be his intended. Live happy with him grandson.” Lunaas he brought back Philnder from the trance.
“Philander? Oi! Philander!” Inuyasha called waving his hand in front of Philander’s face.
“Inuyasha” Philander said making Inuyasha almost jump in surprise. “I was going to tell you this when you come back from your mission but this happened.” Inuyasha gulped with what Philander is saying. “Inuyasha… will you be my intended?”
Inuyasha was shocked, and ecstatic, he can’t believe that his brother… that he longed to be with… that he wished would love him like the way he loved him would propose to him. ‘I don’t know what to feel! I want to cry! I wan to laugh, I want to kill somebody! I really don’t know!”
“Inuyasha?” Philander called on to Inuyahsa.
“Yes Philander… I will.” Inuyasha said and kissed Philander chastely “how much this hurts me… Philander we cannot be intimate… that is until the ceremony... ”
“I can’t wait.” Philander said and kissed Inuyahsa back.
“Being in the lands of the elves in the longest time suppressed his youkai… and his spiritual powers took over not to mention his god powers.” And old woman with a tone of wisdom said holding a clear crystal ball as Inutaisho and Sesshomaru listened.
“We need to get him back father.” said Sesshomaru
“We will son.”
“Be very careful my lords… this doesn’t bode well… someone of great power is behind this, and why predicaments arises.” The seer said as she holds on to hr crystal ball that started to show blurs of swirling shimmering white, gray and silver.
“Your efforts will be in vain demons.” An unearthly voice was heard throughout the room. “Your family doesn’t deserve mine… I will not let you take hold of what is not to be YOURS!”
The crystal ball from the seer’s hands glowed and erupted in light and shattered.
