My Heart is the Worst Kind of Weapon You Could use

Okay so chapter seven like tottaly sucks!

Inuyasha&Kouga: Yep

MO: Shut it. Anyway heres chapter eight. I do not own Inuyasha, but I do own the little miracle that happens.

Inuyasha: What miracle?

MO: *smiles evilly* You'll find out.

Inuyasha: *shivers*

Chapter Eight: For Buddha's Sake! Leave Me Be!!

Inuyasha growled lowly in his throat, as Kagome tried to pet him. Its being almsot a month, since the transformation, and Inuyasha has become a little snappy lately. No one could calm him down, not even Kouga, who kept his distance. He keep Shippo close to him at all times; Kagome couldn't even be near him, not with the row of fangs and teeth.

She was even too afriad to 'sit' him. She did it once, and Inuyasha only got up and tried to rip her throat out, Luckly, Miroku's staff got the damage of it.

Inuyahsa has been extremly mood latelty. And he started having huge cravings for meat. He hunted at least five times a day to somewhat stassife it. No one had a clue, why he was acting like this. Except Kirara and Kouga.

Kirara only stood on the sidelines, while Kouga beamed proudly. He made sure to keep his distance from Inuyasha, who started to lose patince with him, too.

It was now almost two months since the tea incident. And Inuyasha has been gone from the campsite, for awhile now. Kagome was starting to get worried. She wanted to punish the half demon, for running off. Not have him dead somewhere, without them knowing where he was.

That wasn't true, Kouga was with him. Knowing this, made her feel more at ease. But then she frowned.

With the way Kouga and Inuyasha were behaving, she didn't think it was wise to fell relieved.

'Damn that old witch. Inuyasha should in my arms by now. What is going on?'

Kouga watched, with intense curiosity, as Inuyasha came out from under the upturn roots of a tree. Apparently, he didn't like it, as he went over to a small cave. He sniffed around it, making sure, he wasn't intrudden someones home. Then went in.

He came back out, finding it too small. The half dog snorted and kicked upturned dirt at it.

Kouga chuckled.

Inuyasha has been searching for something, for days now. He hasn't found it yet, but Kouga knew it was only a matter of time, before he did.

He followed Inuyasha, as the half demon continued on his search. Pretty soon, Inuyasha found a cave, a meter bigger than the last one.

Inuyasha went into it, and like the last time, Kouga waited. Inuyasha came back out, looking quite pleased at his findings, and went back into the cave.

'Finally,'

Kouga sighed, and walked over to the cave entrence. He closed his blue eyes, and slept.

"Its so dark out, where could they be?"

Kagome looked at the forest entrance agian in worry. Inuyasha and Kouga still haven't returned yet, and the girl from the future was getting worried. No, she passed worried a long time ago. She was down right scared for her loves life.

Sango gave Kagome a cup of tea, and petted her head; like her mother use to do.

"Don't worry Kagome, I'm sure Kouga and Inuyasha are fine."

"Indeed," Miroku agreed. "They must have seen how late it was getting, and found selter. I'm sure they'll return in the morning."

Kagome nodded her head, though, she never really belived them.

It was almost noon, when Kouga awoke to strange sounds. He looked into the caves mouth, only to darkness. He ventuered further into the cave, till he saw a ball of fimilar white fur. Kouga smiled, and went over to Inuyasha. Inuyasha growled darkly, making him stop.

The wolf look confused for a moment, before hearing a loud whimper. He saw a tiny pink nose, and his smile returned. He went to go closer, and Inuyasa snarled at him. Kouga quickly reched back.

He smiled at the snarling half dog, before running out of the cave. He had to hunt for his family.

It wasn't a long one. A particulay fat rabbit came into his veiw, and went after it. He caught and killed it with ease. He went to it burrow, with it in its jaws, to find something for hiself.

He found the rabbits mate, and killed her too.

With both kills, he precided, to return to the cave. When he got back, his 'welcome home' was a snarl.

Kouga paid no mind to it, and dropped the two rabbit corpses infront of Inuyasha.

Inuyasha looked at them for a minute, before looking up at Kouga. He licked him, as a form of apology, and went right to work, on eating the fat carcess.

Kouga could finally look at his pups, without Inuyasha snapping at him. He could see four furry bodies. One was white, with a black line going its back, ending at his tail. Another one, was a rust color. One was black, with light brown markings on its feet and muzzle. One was orange, with one dipped-looking white paw. The second to last one was black, with three white legs up to its thigh;its left hind leg was black. And the last one was white, with three black legs up to its thigh. Like its brother, its right hind leg was white.

He smliled, as each one whimpered and and tried to howl. He sniffed the white one, and the other sniffed him back. He chuckled, as the pups closed lids scrunched up, as it tried to identify the new comer.

'The one with three white marks on his legs, is the first born,' Inuyasha said suddenly.

Kouga looked over, to see him staring at him.

'I thought you would like to know,' he shrugged, 'I'm sorry for snapping at you. Instinic and all that.'

'I understand perfectly,' Kouga smiled. 'There so beautiful. What should we name them?'

'Well, I ready name the rusted color one, Ryuk,'

'After that wild cat demon?'

'What? Its a nice name.' Inuyasha said defensivly.

'Whatever,' Kouga muttered. He looked at the other five pups. 'Then the one with the brown markings, will be named after my father. Marokitsu.'

'Maro-no! His name will be Inuatshio the second.'

'Why should you decide on the names?'

'Hmm, I don't know. Maybe, because, I was the one in labore for for the last twenty-six hours!'

'Okay, okay,' Kouga had a sweat drop forming over his head, as he tried to calm Inuyasha down. 'Inutashio the second. The white one, is a girl, right?'

'Yep,'

'Then, lets name her Ai,'

'Ai. I like it. Okay, the orange one, I'll name Momo. And the black and white ones will be Roku and Dai.'

'So, four boys and two girls,' Kouga laughed, and kissed Inuyasha. 'You did good, baby. Now, finish your lunch and feed the pups. I'll keep look out outside.

'Okay, just come in when it gets dark. I don't want you out there by yourself.'

Kouga didn't argue with that, and went outside to gaurd the santitiy of his home. No one would get near their pups on his watch.
