The ticking Time bomb
I had to break this idea into two parts. More disaster to come! Thank you for the reviews Patty530 and KooKooKitty. Enjoy!

“Does it normally take this long?” Celina groaned. The ceremony had been in process for over an hour now, and Celina was only attracting more males to avoid. She was hiding in a back corner with Ash trying to lose another lord who had so curiously heard about her approaching her one hundredth year.
“Indeed,” Ash sighed. “The speeches are long winded. I actually substituted for your mother’s parents in her mating ceremony. The mating feast is the best part of the whole day.”
“I’m going to go drag my brother out of hiding,” Celina replied, slipping out of the main hall. Ash leaned against the wall watching as she fled, when it hit her. Tasshomaru was still in there with the girl.
“Shit,” Ash muttered as she followed after Celina.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Tasshomaru let a sigh of relief out in his head, everything was going wonderfully. His grandfather and Catalina seemed to be getting along perfectly. Their idle chat was taking longer then he originally thought, but Celina would be out there with the crowd of lords and ladies.
“I see you wear a kimono of the house of Tiger Assassins,” Touga began, and Tasshomaru held his breath. Throughout the conversation her species has not been brought to the table, but here it comes. “Yet your ears and tail are that of a Kitsune.”
“Indeed,” Catalina replied, she was not ashamed of her heritage. Because she was not born a pure bred some thought she should walk with shame, but she was proud to be a mixed breed. “My mother is a tiger demon while my father is a Kitsune. It just shows you love knows no boundaries.”
“How true,” Touga replied, giving his grandson a small look of approval before turning his attention back on Catalina. “Now I know cats are curious creatures, so please ask the question I see burning in your eyes.”
“It’s just, well I don‘t wish to be rude,” Catalina started before she let out a sigh. Curbing her tongue wasn’t going to work right now so she would just blurt out her question. “My father use to tell me about great Youkais, and well he use to tell me stories about the great dog general Inu no Tashio. About your battles, and your death, yet you are alive as I am, I just want to know how.”
“I can tell this subject will come up much today,” Touga sighed, before he began to try and explain what has passed. He was never given the opportunity as Celina pushed the door open.
“Tasshomaru where the hell are you?” she growled her displeasure. Ash stood behind her, amusement glowing in her eyes as she watched the scene unfold before her. “Is that the girl who has you all tied up in knots? Honestly, I thought she would be prettier.”
“You’ve got a lot of nerve bitch,” Catalina growled as she bolted up and flexed her claws.
“Are you really stupid enough to attack the Western Lord’s daughter,” Celina snorted, as Catalina paled at recognition of whom she was talking to. “I like her she’s feisty. It will be fun to watch the fireworks she is going to set off today.”
“Celina,” Tasshomaru gave her a warning growl. Celina’s reply was a look of pure innocence and shock. “Is there something you want?”
“Well,” Celina smirked as she prepared to drag Tasshomaru back into the main hall but was interrupted.
“Introducing InuYasha and his mate Kagome,” came a voice from down the hall, followed by loud cheering.
“Shit,” Celina and Tasshomaru cursed together as the dragged Catalina in their mad dash down to the main hall.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sesshomaru held the arm of his mate as he followed the couple out of the gardens where the private ceremony was held. Kagome’s mother and grandfather stood on the other side of them as they entered the main hall. His eyes scanned the room looking for his pups, which were to be seen running into the hall last minuet. Holding back a growl, he mate place a hand on his upper arm to stop him from going over to them and growling till they were both death.
“Darling,” Taijina purred lowly for his ears alone. “We will deal with them after this day. After all it is Kagome and InuYasha’s day.”
“For now they live,” Sesshomaru growled, as he could only think of what trouble his children had got into this morning. “Who is that girl by Tasshomaru?”
“I’ve never seen her before,” Taijina replied, getting a good look at the girl in the red kimono standing by her son. “She appears to be a kitsune.”
“And yet she wears the robe of a tigress from the Tiger Assassin tribe,” Sesshomaru continued their discussion, as InuYasha turned back and gave them a glare.
“Will you two shut up,” InuYasha hissed, earning a glare from his brother and a stifled laugh from Taijina.
“Sorry love,” Taijina whispered as she held her sleeve in front of her mouth trying to stop laughing, earning a glare from her mate. “It’s best we continue our critique after the procession.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ash walked back into the room, and gave a small smile to Touga. Watching as he straightened his kimono, she went back to her window. Sitting on the ledge she gave the court yard one more quick glance.
“Nervous?” she asked him, as she smoothed her own light purple kimono.
“I have gone into battle many a times,” Touga began as he offered her his arm. After she stood and took his arm did he continue. “The only thing the scares me is facing my sons. After all look how much time has passed.”
“This will be interesting,” Ash snickered as they began to walk towards the entrance to the feast.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Taijina stopped paying attention to the announcement of guest awhile ago. She hated the formality of the whole event, and besides her children were acting suspiciously. They kept glance over at the hall door seamlessly waiting for someone to appear. Most of the guest where already seated at the table, and as Taijina scanned down the table she noticed Ash was missing.
“Announcing Lady Ash and her escort Lord Inu Tashio,” the herald bellows, causing the whole room to grow quiet as they entered. Ash always knew how to make an entrance, Taijina thought as she felt her mate grow stiff next to her.
“What is she up to now?” Sesshomaru hissed at his mate. Letting out a sigh, Taijina knew this was only going to get worst. As Sesshomaru bolted up next to her, she felt the oncoming of a headache. “I demand an explanation Ash, NOW!”
“You will get your explanation later,” Ash replied, as she walked over to her and Touga’s seats. Looking over to Tasshomaru and Celina, she knew they would refuse to help her right now. “As right is a very inappropriate moment.”
“Both of you will see me in the library after the feast,” Sesshomaru ordered in a no argument tone, as he returned once more to his seat. Taijina placed her hand on his leg, and gave him a small comforting smile. Unsure of what Ash was trying to do, she waved the herald on to complete his task of announcing the guest whom have attended.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Do you really think that is our father?” InuYasha asked his brother who was sitting to the left of him.
“We both know he died,” Sesshomaru replied, as he looked over to the man supposedly being his father.
“But with Ash who knows what is possible,” Taijina reminded them as she leaned forward to speak to InuYasha. “Add to the fact it seems our pups knew of him.”
“Which they will be severely lectured about,” Sesshomaru growled, as he went back to glaring at his children.
“I want to be there when you talk to him later,” InuYasha said, as he gaze went to Touga.
“It’s your mating day,” Taijina reminded him. “You will not leave your new mate’s side for this. You will both talk to this guy tomorrow afternoon.”
“Taijina,” Sesshomaru growled.
“May I remind you mate I still have a separate bed I can sleep in tonight, or for the next week or so,” Taijina threatened, earning a growl from Sesshomaru.
“Sesshomaru falling to a female,” InuYasha snorted, earning him a glare from his brother.
“InuYasha,” Kagome hissed as she turned from talking to her mother on her right. “Leave your brother alone.”
“How the mighty have fallen,” Sesshomaru smirked, as InuYasha started to grumble.
“You should make the announcement now,” Taijina told Sesshomaru, as she noticed most of the guest had finished their meal.
“Of course love,” Sesshomaru replied, looking over to Koga. Once eye contact was made, Sesshomaru started to stand.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The dinner was going quite pleasant after Ash’s surprise. Celina let out a small sigh as the female beside her continued to chirp on about this and that lord, but Celina was thoroughly ignoring her. She tried not to smirk as her father turned his glare onto her brother. Sesshomaru had been going back and forth between her and her brother just glaring at them.
“Will you please shut up,” Celina growled at the demoness besides her, earning her a sharp glare. The demoness beside her then turned to her other side and started talking to the demon next to her.
Leaning back in her seat she notices Koga staring at her. Glancing to make sure her father’s eyes were still on Sesshomaru she stuck her tongue out at Koga. Koga tried not to laugh at her antics, as he gave a low cough.
Listening to the idle gossip going around the table, Celina closed her eyes. She despised these formal functions, the petty females, the restrictive formal kimonos, at least the food was good. Opening her eyes she noticed Koga and Sesshomaru look at each other before her father stood up. Commanding silence from those in attendance, Celina felt her heart drop.
“I have an announcement to make,” Sesshomaru said, as all eyes were turned on him, except Koga’s he was staring straight at Celina. “Earlier today I was approached by Lord Koga and requested for courtship of my daughter. Celina, Koga, if you would both stand.”
Koga stood up, never taking his eyes off of Celina, who stood as well. It took everything for Celina not run up there and scream bloody murder at her father. If he said the words, she wasn’t going to run, or at least that is what she told herself.
“I have accepted Lord Koga’s request,” Sesshomaru said, as Celina ran out of the room, leaving the room in an uproar. She ran down towards her room, tears pouring down her cheeks. Slamming her bedroom door shut she started sobbing harder
“Celina,” came the call from beyond her door. “Celina let me in.”
“Go away,” Celina growled. Hearing a heavy sigh, and foot steps walking away from her room, she knew her mother had left her door. Crawling into bed she cried herself to sleep.
