Someone new for Inu

“But Rin human. Does this mean Rin is filthy too?” gasped the child, tears filling her eyes.

“Oh Rin, your different. Sesh needs you in a different way,” said Saya. “He just doesn’t realize it yet. But you aren’t filthy ok?”

“Ok Saya,” said Rin, going silent as they continued.

“Listen to me Seshomarou. You may not like me, but I swear if I ever hear of you hurting that little girl, I will hurt you myself,” she hissed at Sesh as she passed to walk with Sam.

They arrived on the outskirts of his huge manor. Sam felt the energy and reached out to touch the barrier. She hissed and pulled back to suck on her finger.

“It’s a very powerful barrier made of a lot of demonic energy,” she said, turning to wave over Miroku. “We will have to put our energy together to put a hole in it. As soon as it is open, Inu you and your brother go through.”

Inuyasha stepped up to her and brushed his hands through her hair. He surprised everyone by pulling her into a heated kiss.

“Don’t die in there my dear Inu,” she whispered. “Come back to me.”

“If I don’t I want you to know I love you,” he whispered before turning away.

“I love you to,” she whispered before turning to place her hands on the barrier.

Miroku placed his hands and sutra’s on the barrier with her. A blue force of energy began to surround them as they chanted. Within minutes a hole had formed in the barrier.

“Hurry, we can’t hold it much longer,” cried Miroku.

As soon as the brother’s and Miroku were through she was blown back landing hard on her butt. She blew on her now singed hands, worrying for the man she had come to love.

“Now we wait,” she said.


Sam sat beside Saya and Sango watching the stars as night deepened. She could see the worry in Saya’s eyes, knowing full well how she felt. Without any words she dug through her pack and found the necklace Inu had won. She held it to her heart and let the tears flow.


“You have feelings for Inuyasha don’t you Sam?” said Sango.

“I love him Sango,” she said through her tears. “I didn’t want to but my heart fell anyway.”

“At least he seems to return your feelings,” said Saya calmly. “My heart picked a one sided love.”

“Hey at least you two don’t love a pervert,” chirped Sango.

They all suddenly burst out laughing, letting their worries flow around them. Saya turned to begin separating her things from Rin’s. Jaken startled her when he joined her in comfortable silence.

“Don’t worry Saya. Me lord has always been this way. But you must understand, he does like you in his own warped way,” said Jaken.

“Thanks Jaken, but I am sure he doesn’t feel the same about me,” she said. “But I will miss you.”


At dawn Saya was gone, having left in the cover of night. Sam was consoling a crying Rin when the barrier broke and the men returned. She saw they were haggard and tired, covered with demon blood. Paying no heed she rushed to Inu’s arms, breathing in his scent. He folded her in his arms and kissed her hair, his hair falling over them like silk.

“Where’s Saya?” said Miroku as he hugged Sango as well.

“She’s gone,” said Sam.

“And it’s all your fault Sesh,” cried Rin. “I hate you!”

Rin ran to hide her sobs in Sams miko robes. Sam looked to Inu shaking her head helplessly. He walked over and whacked Sesh on the head.

“We had better go find her before something else does,” said Inu. “You really need to learn how to treat a human woman brother.”

Sam sighed as she lifted the girl into her arms. She followed Inu as went to find Saya, her own worries lifted from her shoulders. She looked back and smiled secretly when Sesh had followed. He loves her. He just doesn’t know it yet she thought.

Inuyasha carried her for several hours before he caught Saya’s scent. A flash suddenly blew past them and she chuckled when she knew it was Sesh. She tapped Inu and pointed and he laughed.


“I think we should let them be. We should be heading back to Kaede’s,” he said.

“Umm first you need a bath handsome,” she chuckled. “And so do I now.”

They split up with Sango and Miroku so they could be alone. Shippou went with them and Sam and Inu were finally alone. They camped near a hot spring and bathed together. Sam rubbed his sore muscles as he leaned back in her arms.

“Sam, earlier. I meant what I said when I said I loved you,” he said turning to look at her.

“I know you did,” she said running a finger over his lips. “So did I.”

He growled and took her lips with his. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he held her close. She gasped softly when his rigid shaft rubbed her between her thighs. Her hands sank into his hair as he proceeded to kiss and softly nip his way down her throat and to her breasts. He suddenly felt her go rigid and looked into her eyes.

“Sam?” he said before he finally smelled the demon. “Dammit Kouga. Don’t sneak up like that.”

“Well hello dog boy,” said the wolf demon. “I see you are two timing Kagome again.”

“Kagome? I thought you were with Kikyo?” said Sam.

“I had feelings for Kagome, once. But,” he began before she struggled from his grasp. “Sam wait!”

“Damn you Inuyasha,” she cried as she grabbed her clothes and went to the camp.

She felt as if her heart had been ripped out, yet again. She dressed and laid down to pretend to sleep. She heard him walk over several minutes later and she could feel his guilty feelings.

“Go sleep somewhere else Inu,” she hissed.

The next morning she packed everything together, her anger long subsided. She had made her decision to go back home when Kagome arrived. Sam looked up when she heard him approach cautiously. When she saw the haggard look on his face she lost her resolve.

“Inu,” she sobbed, running into his startled arms. “I can’t help it. I still love you no matter what.”
