chapter seven
A/N Sorry to my readers this took so long. and this chapter is going to be short due to the fact i have a writers block and have been working hard on other projects.

The sun had begun to set and Shizuka had finished her tears. She tried to hide her sadness by hiding herself in a nearby tree out of the sites of her new friends. She hated crying. She felt weak when she crying. Youko never cried. Kuronue never cried. They were stronger than tears. She choked back the sobs and tried to calm herself down. InuYasha and the others settled in for the night. Suddenly she sensed the sent of a Komori. She reached into her toga and pulled out a dagger. She sniffs and allows her eyes to be shadowed by her hair. Her hidden eyes spotted a small demon in black. He jumped from tree to tree and stopped just outside the boys’ room. The boy with the long red hair came to him. The demon in black spoke to him.
“Fox, you must be careful at night. I have heard word that a half breed demon rules over the land near here is pulsating evil.”
“I will be Hiei. Is something wrong? You seem a little off tonight.”
“It is nothing Fox. Are the others asleep?” the red head nodded.
“Will you be sleeping here tonight?” The demon just replied with an ‘Hn’ “I wish you would. We are not familiar with this land.” The demon didn’t move and for a while they just looked at each other. Finally the smaller demon stepped onto the ledge and into the room.
‘Fox? Why was he called that by the demon?’ then Shizuka began to think about what the red head had said. He talked like him. He was nicknamed Fox by that demon. He had the faint smell of him… that bastard she thought. He put me though Hell. She began to grow angry and she gripped the dagger tightly.
She would wait. Until he felt comfortable, until he was asleep and feeling safe, she would wait. She waited. And waited, until the moon was nearing the horizon. She walked to the edge of the tree branch and stepped into the room. Thanking that she had thief training. She saw him sleeping peacefully. She took a step toward him. His eyes opened and flashed gold. She ran and grabbed him by the throat and shoved him against the wall. A deep growl from her throat told him that she was pissed.
The sound of her smashing him against the wall and growling woke the others in the group. The boys in the room were shocked to see Shizuka holding a dagger to Kurama’s throat. Yusuke pointed his finger at her and Kuwabara got out his spirit sword. Hiei pulled out his kantata. The girls rushed in to see what was the matter. Hotaru looked at Shizuka and saw the anger and hurt in her face and eyes.
“I knew it! You know more about Youko and Kuronue then you let on!” Hotaru shouted. “Tell her what you know!” Shizuka bared her fangs and snarled.
“Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, Lower your weapons... I thought I could hide the scent better.” She released him and waited. He sighed. He looked into her eyes and began to tell her the story of who he really was. After telling her, the sun was beginning to rise. She made hand movements and Kurama looked at her. “I couldn’t come back to you. I was afraid. I didn’t want to see you in pain.” Her hands moved furiously. “I know now that I made the pain worse. If I had of come back I would have been able to stay alive.” Shizuka just looked at him. Her hands still. She then lifted her hand and pointed to her eye. “You wish to see Youko?” She nodded and he transformed. The Inu gang gasped and Shizuka looked into the golden eyes of her fiancé’s best friend. She leaned over and smacked him hard across the face and then gave him a hug. Kurama hesitantly hugged her back. Kagome awed as well as Sango.
InuYasha looked out the window and saw a tall figure with a black hat and indigo blue eyes give a sad smile and seemingly disappear.

A/N soo what do you think! InuYasha seems to have all the run ins or see the people not wanting to be seen lol
