Chapter 7: Naraku Speaks His Plans?

Sesshomaru quickly redressed himself after bathing and taking care of his ‘problem’, and was about to head back to where Inuyasha was when a scent filled his nose.

“Naraku” Sesshomaru growled and turned to where the demon sat smirking under his baboon fur. Next to the evil half demon was a small albino girl holding white framed mirror staring ahead with out seeming to notice what was going on around her.

“Hello Lord Sesshomaru” Naraku stood but made no movement when the dog demon grabbed the hilt of his sword. “I am sorry to disappoint you but I did not come to fight, just to talk of a future trade”

“A trade” The demon lord repeated and watched as the incarnation walked up to him and held up her mirror.

“Yes” Naraku stated as and image began to form in the mirror. Sesshomaru watched as the blurry image turned into his younger brother and began waking in the glass. Trees and bushes also formed next to the hanyou, and if Sesshomaru didn’t know any better he would say Inuyasha was smiling because tetsusaiga was now back in his clawed hands.

The demon lord looked back up at Naraku who was smiling smugly “I know about you and your lovely new mate and I must say I am very surprised about how easy you made things for me. Or should I thank your father?”

Sesshomaru’s eyes narrowed, how did Naraku know this? Golden eyes glanced down at the mirror showing Inuyasha approaching Lust’s small house.

‘It’s the mirror, it shows what is happening’ the demon lord realized and turned his iron gaze back to the half demon.

“When the time comes I want you to steal the shikon shards that Inuyasha and his human friends have for me or give up your land” Naraku crossed his arms “Ether one suits me just fine”

“You claim we are trading, but you have yet to tell me what we will be trading for” Naraku laughed softly and gestured to Kanna. Sesshomaru tuned his gaze downward to the girls mirror were the image was changing once again.

“We will trade for your mate” Golden eyes flashed red at the images in the mirror. At first it started out as Sesshomaru licking Inuyasha wounds from the other day, then in a swirl of colors switched to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru kissing less than an hour ago. But it wasn’t those pictures that made the demon lords blood bubble.

It was the final image that made his inner demon scream for blood. The final image that Kanna showed was of Inuyasha lying on a bed with his arms and legs chained down. The hanyou’s face was twisted in agony and the reason was obvious since in the image Naraku was raping him. There was no softness in Naraku’s movements it was just animalist thrust that caused nothing but pain for the image of Inuyasha.

Naraku dodged Sesshomaru when the demon lord came charging at him with his sword, and merely acted as if nothing had happened as he spoke.

“I would not mind your brother at all, half demon bed slaves are suppose to be the best” Another swipe from the Toukijin was made which Naraku barley managed to dodge this time.

“How do you plan to get Inuyasha in your grasp when he will always be protected by me?” The demon lord’s human form was slowly slipping every time he missed Naraku, already eyes were solid red, his fangs were growing also, the red aura around him screamed with demonic power that only he could posses.

“That’s sweet but you shall see, soon as you let the hanyou out of your sight he will be mine and you will be forced to give me something in exchange for him” Sesshomaru stepped back when Naraku released his poison gas.

But as soon as the gas was cleared Naraku and his incarnation were gone.

Sesshomaru was never one to lose control or let his emotions show, but he could not contain the roar of rage that shook the entire forest.

Inuyasha froze; he had never felt such raw power before. The hanyou was tempted to go find out what it was now that he had gotten tetsusaiga back but Sesshomaru would be back soon.

Normally Inuyasha wouldn’t give a damn but for some reason he couldn’t force himself to move away from Lusts small house. For everytime he did an image of Sesshomaru giving him an angry or disappointed look filled his mind.

‘I didn’t feel this way before’ Inuyasha thought as he jumped on the dog demons roof. When he got his sword from the forest it he didn’t even think twice about Sesshomaru but now that he felt the aura he couldn’t keep his mind if his mate.

His furry ears flattened automatically at the sound of Sesshomaru’s anger filled roar, and the hanyou looked in the direction where the sound and aura where coming from. The 17 year old could feel Sesshomaru approaching him fast, but was unsure about the feelings that he somehow knew Sesshomaru was feeling.

‘Is this part of the bond thing?’ Inuyasha asked himself when he felt the anger radiating from his older brother. There was something else the elder brother was feeling.

The half demon was caught off guard when his brother burst from the woods and ran straight for him. Inuyasha braced himself for what ever was coming his way, but to his shock all Sesshomaru did was jump on the roof and wrap his arms around his smaller body.

“Sesshomaru?!” The hanyou had no idea what to do; his brother never gave him a hug before. But the demon just buried his head in Inuyasha’s neck and stayed silent.

“If you’re not going to tell me what’s wrong could you let go?” Inuyasha yelped when his brother nipped his neck “Bastard” he grumbled and continued to hold still willing to wait for the older demon to speak.

Sesshomaru continued holding his brother until his demon side was satisfied that his mate was all right and not hurt in anyway. Then slowly let go of the hanyou, Inuyasha looked up with confusion and annoyance in his eyes.

“Mind telling me what the hell happened?” Once again Inuyasha was caught off guard when Sesshomaru began caressing his face. There was a look in his older brothers eyes, it only lasted a second but out of everything that had happened in the past few weeks that one look made his insides twist, heart pound, and mind go blank.

“Sess” Inuyasha stood up on his toes and pressed his lips against Sesshomaru’s, he could feel his mates shock but this time did not ponder on why he would feel what Sesshomaru did.

The demon lord leaned into the kiss that only lasted a few minutes; he watched as Inuyasha’s slid shut then opened as the kiss ended.

The hanyou blushed and looked away, Sesshomaru took this moment to get control over his emotions.

“We should catch up with your friends” Inuyasha snapped out of his daze and nodded before blinking.

“Where did Shippo go?”

“I sent him with Lust and his daughter, Luna, to meet your friends and inform them that you had been poisoned and we are going to travel to my castle for the cure.” Sesshomaru jumped off the roof followed by Inuyasha “They should have met with Rin and Jaken by now and told them of the new plans”

“You thought ahead” Sesshomaru nodded and began sprinting soon as he reached the dirt road, Inuyasha ran next to him.

“So what pissed you off so much?” Inuyasha asked after a few moments of silence, Sesshomaru glanced at him before answering.

“Naraku” The hanyou almost stopped running for a moment.

“What did he say? Did you fight?”

“He wanted to trade” That left Inuyasha puzzled, what did the evil bastard want trade. Or more importantly what did Naraku have that he would use to trade with Sesshomaru?

The older brother ignored his brothers puzzled looks and feeling and concentrated on running.

Something was not right with Naraku’s actions. If the evil demon wished to kidnap Inuyasha so he could use him to trade with why did he poison Inuyasha? Naraku had to know that the cure for the poison resided in his lands and that Inuyasha would be near him at all times while in the western lands along with his human friends.

It just didn’t make sense, what was Naraku really planning? The evil demon couldn’t really want his lands, maybe the shikon shards, but not his land. After all Naraku’s goal was to become a full demon not be a lord that had to deal with politics and other things.

The demon lord fell into his thoughts and completely ignored Inuyasha when the hanyou tried to start a conversation making the hanyou become angry at his brother.

“Bastard” Inuyasha snapped and ran ahead. Sesshomaru came out of his thoughts and watched his brother run ahead. What did he do to anger his mate now?

“Inuyasha” The Kagome yelled when they she silver haired hanyou. The odd looking group turned around.

Rin who was walking between Luna and Shippo yelled and waved at Sesshomaru before running to great the demon lord followed by Jaken who was crying tears of joy at seeing his lord.

Inuyasha walked past Sesshomaru and his welcome group and to Kagome and the others. The future girl launched herself at Inuyasha knocking the half demon to the ground.

“Jeez Kagome I havent been gone that long” Inuyasha told the girl and propped himself on his elbows, he may have been scowling but he was glad to see his friends again.

Sango helped Kagome up while Miroku helped Inuyasha, but the monk moved out of the way when Lust launched himself at Inuyasha for a hug.

“Angel it has been to long” Lust got a punch on his jaw when Inuyasha felt the dog demons hands on his ass. “Sorry” the black haired demon said and held up his hands.

“Uh Hello Inuyasha” Inuyasha turned and looked at Ichi who was standing a little away from the group

Lust walked up to Ichi and put his arm around the mans shoulder

“Why are you still here?” Inuyasha got a nasty glare from Kagome for sounding so rude but he wasn’t about to apologize.

Lust grinned and nuzzled Ichi’s neck making the human blush “This is my mate Angel”

“WHAT!” Inuyasha looked at the human for some bite mark but there wasn’t anything thing like what he and Sesshomaru had.

“Where is his mark? It has to be in a visible place” Sesshomaru watched as Lust pulled down Ichi’s robe and sure enough on the humans lower neck was a mating mark.

“But you don’t have a mark” Inuyasha pointed out.

“Humans can’t mate like demons do, but trust me we have done everything else mates do” The black haired demon slapped Ichi on the ass and winked at the blushing human. “But Ichi wanted to keep it a secret, so to please my love I said ok”

Sesshomaru looked at Luna who looking away from everyone, the demon lord noticed right away that the girl was refusing to look at Ichi and Lust. And for once he could understand what the girl was feeling, he after all had hated Inuyasha’s mother with a passion. The human did nothing but doom his father to die a horrible death.

Inuyasha who had just finished telling everyone about this mornings when Sesshomaru met Naraku was now listening to everyone talk about how shocked and worried they had been when they found out he had been poisoned, and how shocked they were that Sesshomaru was taking him to his lands.

“Or should we say your lands Inuyasha? Since now that you are mated to Sesshomaru you have an equal share over the western lands.” Miroku pointed out while Sango nodded agreeing with the monk.

“Uh” the hanyou hesitated “I don’t think I am going to stay long in the western lands just long enough to get an antidote”

The demon lord snapped out of his thoughts and walked next to his mate with Rin and Jaken falling right behind him.

“As much as I despise to admit it Inuyasha the human is right you have an equal say in what happens in our land soon as I make a formal announcement of our mating” Inuyasha looked up Sesshomaru and smiled grimly

“Politics isn’t for me, plus I don’t think I could ever consider your castle my home” the older brothers eyes narrowed.

“And why not?” Inuyasha shrugged not wishing to explain before turning to his friends ignoring his mates glare.

“So are we going or what?” The hanyou asked and crossed his arms, Kagome nodded after glancing at Sesshomaru who everyone could see was angry.

But the demon lord said nothing as the group began traveling down the road towards the western land borders. There were three sections of the group; the children were in the middle, perverts and the demon slayer (and Ichi) where in the back, while Kagome Jaken Sesshomaru and Inuyasha took the front.

It was interesting for villagers to see the group full of demons, humans, and hanyou’s walking down the road. And only occasionally would they run into demons, and Sesshomaru was impressed with how well everyone worked together while fighting.

Ichi and Jaken would protect the children; the other humans would be the offensive while the dog demons would be the defeasances and make sure no one got hurt. And so far not one person had gotten a scratch.

Inuyasha ran after Shippo who had the nerve to make fun of him while with the girls, it was almost a day and half since the group crossed the border and it seemed no demon in the area wanted to come near the group even though there were humans since Sesshomaru was with them. So the group was free to relax slightly and ignore all the demonic auras around them.

“You brat get back here” Shippo yelled and ran circles around Sango, who was slapping Miroku and Lust for grouping her, then became smart and ran to Kagome who gave the hanyou an annoyed look.

“Honestly Inuyasha he was just trying to have fun” Kagome said and held the fox demon in one arm while steering her bike with the other. Rin and Kuna who were sitting on Ah-Uh’s back giggled at the sight of Inuyasha turning red with anger.

“Yeah well I will have a lot of fun beating him” The hanyou reached out for the fox who was sticking his tongue out. Kagome sighed before saying the two words Inuyasha hated the most.

“Sit Boy”

Sesshomaru’s attention had been drifting all day but now snapped back to the present, he looked at his mate who was on the ground and twitching slightly. He almost forgot about the strange human’s power over Inuyasha.

Now that he thought about it every time his brother was ‘sitted’ the necklace around his neck would glow. Perhaps that was the cause of how she controlled his body?

The demon lord didn’t get to ponder about this new information for long since Jaken began yelling loudly and pointing off into the distance were a large gateway could be seen.

“Is that the main city?” Lust asked and ran next to the demon lord who just nodded. The black haired demons eyes went wide, the city must have been huge to have such a wall around it.

“My castle is just past the city but it is quicker to go through” The group nodded and became silent as they approached the humongous gateway where demon guards stared down from the wall at them.

“My lord is that you?” A demon in rather nice leather armor asked from above. Sesshomaru nodded and stepped ahead of the group.

“Yes, now open the gates and send a messenger ahead of me telling my servants to prepare dinner and a guest rooms” The guard nodded and ran off while the others began grunting as they pulled open the large doors.

Inuyasha took a deep breath as he entered the city walls, he felt tense but when his eyes met with his brothers he relaxed slightly. Sesshomaru was with him, everything would be fine. Wouldn’t it?

Hmmm, yes I originally didn’t want to make Ichi and Lust together but I realized it would be better for the story plot in the future if I did. So I guess he is a good guy…
But anyways what do you think Naraku is planning? I would love to hear what you think, and I will be sure to tell you if you are close or not. So please review and tell me what you think Naraku id doing, I don’t think I am being obvious actually I think I am making it hard.
