Bad News
Sesshomaru and Kagome decided not to eat in the lounge at the studio so they went to a near by resaurant. "What are we going to do Liz knows about us this is bad. We will jus have to tell her that nothing happen and that my car just wouldn't start so you said you pick me up." Kagome said praticaly throwing her salad into her mouth.
"What's the matter Kagome are you ashamed of being with me now?" Sesshomaru said stabbing his food with his fork. "Kagome if you don't want to be with me then say so. I don't want to be led around like a dog because you can't make up your mind."
Kagome just stared at him in shock after all of what they had shared it seemed that the Ice Prince was back in town. "I don't know where the hell you got that from but if that is what you want then fuck you too. Dammit!" Kagome got up from the table paid for her meal and walked out. Sesshomaru followed her.
"So what are you saying miko that you wanted me to take on the table in public to show me that you care less about our intimate relationship?" Sesshomaru asked walking beside her and opeing the door to the studio for her.
"You know what Sesshomaru. I thought that you had changed and I was begining to believe that with you in my life would be the best thing since toilet paper. However, when you said what you said in the reasaurant changed my mind in an instant. So, you can keep your damn blizzards to yourself because that is where you are gonna be for the rest of your unatrual life by yourself." Kagome hissed as the elevator door opened.
They both walked in not saying a word to each other. 'He is such a pompus ass. What was I thinking. He hasn't changed on tiny bit the damn dog. I hate em'! I hate all dogs!'
Sesshomaru was just as angry as she from what she suggested and from what she admitted on the way back to the studio.'I should have know better. She is nothing but a waist of my time the Bitch!'
They reached the top floor where Liz's office was. As they walked up Liz's secretary said that she was waiting for them and to go on in.
Liz was excited that her little love match game had worked they looked good together. No they looked great togither. Now if she could only get them to confess then everything would be in order for the frist issue of Gender.
Kagome and Sesshomaru walked in Liz's office and sat down each looking completely
different from what Liz first saw. 'Uh Oh, did I get my hopes up to high?' Liz stared at them for a while and reasured herself when they finaly looked at each other even if it was with a little anger. 'Na, they've just had there first fight that's all, nothing to worry about. If I know Kagome she'll be apologizing like crazy when he takes her home.'
"Ok you guys the reason why I have asked you here is becaue the first issue of Gender will be out in one week and I am really excited and so is the rest of the staff. So, because everyone is all pumped up and have put so much work into this I have decided to throw a party at my place this Saturday. The two of you have to be there because so will the press and I want them to see Gender's star couple. So, go shopping and buy some nice formal atire and I'll see you guys there. Bye" Liz walked back around her desk and sat in her big leather chair as they walked out the door.
As soon as the door closed Liz laughed so loud that Kathie her secretary had to come a check on her. "Liz is there something wrong?" Kathie asked sticking her head in the office. "Kathie for once, nope everything is a-ok honey just great! I am so happy I coud do want Don says all the time, "I could piss on myself" OK so don't you worry about a thing." Liz laughed even louder as she spun in her chair. Kathie simply closed the door and went back to her duties.
Back on the first floor.
Kagome walked up to the parking lot and stood next to Sesshomaru's SUV. "What excatly are you doing standing by my truck?" Sesshomaru asked.
"You brought me here so you have to take me home." Kagome shot back. He simply opened the door and slammed it closed after she got in.
The drive back to Kagome's house was silent and they didn't even glance at each other. However, as Sesshomaru pulled up into her drive way. Kagome spoke."Look I'm sorry if I said anything to offend you earlier at the restaurant I was just scared that Liz was gonna fire me or you or even both of us if she found out what happened between us that's all. I've known her for years and though she might be the nicest person you'll ever meet she strict. I'm sorry Sesshomaru for all the other things I said too." Kagome opened the door finaly and closed it.
Sesshomaru watched her walk to her door and go in. He only backed out and went to his home without a word said and without a thing done.
