Yukina and Kagome were still talking as they arrived at a shop which looked very traditional and had a touch of mystic on it. There were various articles like weaponry, scrolls, traditional clothing , paintings and tools. Kagome walked to the shop owner who was an old man dressed in a dark blue haori and hakama. She greeted him with a warm smile “Hello Seichi-san, how are you?” Seichi looked up from the scroll he was reading and returned the smile “Kagome! It´s been awhile since you were here. You´re looking beautiful, what can I do for you”? Kagome laughed, ‘always the charmer’. “I need some fighting kimonos again, about six if you have so many already here”. He looked at her surprised but didn´t say anything “I see, actually I have them, I´ll go get them.” Kagome just noded as Seichi left through the back door and Yukina looked to Kagome “Fighting Kimonos?” “Yeah”, she replied “as Sesshoumaru started to train me he forced me to wear them. I´ve alwas wore my school uniform at that time but the skirt of my uniform was really short”she laughed “he said, as much as he enjoyed the view he won´t allow me to wear my skirts any longer or he will kill any men who would dare to look at me.”She sighed “But he was right, you can´t imagine how often Inuyasha had to defend my honour against some men, who thought that I was a loose woman just because of my outfit. Well, it was the sengoku jidai, what can I say. I don’t know why I´ve never changed my style but the only thing I never wanted to wear was the miko garment. I didn´t want to look like Kikyou. So I decided to wear the fighting kimonos. They gave me the freedom to fight and to move without hesitation and still were stylish enough, I wanted to be worth of Sesshoumaru” she smiled to Yukina. But Yukina had a scowl on her pretty face “What are you talking about Kagome, are you sure he was worth enough for you? I don´t know him like you do but I know that he is a ruthless killer. How else was he able to be the Lord of the Western Lands after the death of his father”? Kagome shruged. “I don´t care. Sesshoumaru always does what he has to do. I don´t have a right to judge over anybody. I am a miko but I have also blood on my hands. I killed many demons even some humans. I´m not proud of it but I can´t change what had happened. It is either kill or die. It took me a long time to accept that but I also have no choice in it. As long as I´m the guardian of the jewel I will protect it with all means”

Seichi choose this moment to return with six kimonos draped over his arms. “Here you are. If you want to, you can try them on”. He had a gleam in his eyes that reminded her too much of an old perverted friend back in the sengoku jidai.

She sighed. What else should she expect from the descendant of Miroku. Seems like his line had more of him than Sango. His grandsons behaviour was worse than Mirokus. Whereas Miroku was sometimes charming, especially when he feigned innocent after he groped Sango, Seichis grandson Kenji was a real hentai. He is brash and open to all kind of sexual activities with both men and women, as long as it´s fun.

Kagome smiled at Seichi “No it´s O.k. I´m sure they will fit. And I don´t have time for this. Tell me Seichi-san, where is Kenji? I haven´t seen….” Kagome hadn´t finished her sentence as she felt a hand squeeze her butt. She whipped around and delivered a stinging slap to the face of the person. She glared at him “Kenji! How many times did I told you not to grope me!”Kenji grinned at her, still rubbing his cheek “Aw, Kags. Don´t be so shy, that´s not fun.” He turned his eyes to Yukina who looked at him warily. His grin turned to a lecherous one and he slowly approached her.”Hello, my name is Kenji and I´m the proud owner of the ‘Black Velvet’, the best nightclub in the city. Tell me my beauty, what is your name?” Yukina blushed as Kenji stood in front of her. He was very handsome with shoulder-length dark brown hair and piercing violet eyes. He was tall and muscular and wore dark blue jeans with a white shirt. “Yu.. Yukina” she stuttered. He reached out to her with all intentions to groping her as Kagome grabed his wrist and twisted it painfully. He looked at her, shock evident on his face.

Kagomes face was like a statue, cold and emotionless - something she learned from Sesshoumaru - but her eyes showed her fury. In a low and deathly calm voice she said “Don’t you fucking touch her. She is not one of your playthings. Be grateful that I stoped you or you would be dead by now. I know that you have a strong sixth sense so tell me, do you feel the vibes of anger from outside? It´s from Yukinas brother and he is a master in swordsfight. Don´t make him angry or he will kill you without hesitation!” Then she let go of his wrist.

It was true, Kenjis sixth sense was strong and he could feel the anger from that guy, it almost choked him. He rubed his aching wrist and took a small step back. Boy, Kagome looked scary when she was angry but it was also very arousing. A pity that she doesn´t want him. He turned to Yukina and said “Please accept my apology for my inappropriate behaviour, it won´t happen again.” Yukina just noded and Kenji turned to Kagome again. “Now that we settled that, do you want to come to my club on Saturday. It´s a special event, only my closest friends are invited but you can bring your friends too, as long as they aren´t the annoying girls from the last time.” Kagome laughed.”Alright, I can´t promise you anything but I will try. See you”. Kagome payed the kimonos and left with Yukina.


Hiei slowly calmed down, well as calm as a half fire and half ice youkai can be. If Kagome hadn´t been so fast the hentai would have lost his arm. He was surprised that Kagome had protected his sister after knowing her just a few hours. The miko is someone special and just for that he would protect her as well.


The girls went to the mall and Kagome bought some dress, lingerie and matching shoes. As they were walking to a small café Yukina asked Kagome “How do you know Kenji?” It was odd that Kagome has such kind of friends. Kagome smiled and said “A friend of mine had a crush on him and I should play the matchmaker. The problem was that he wasn´t in the slightest bit interested in her. I don´t know why but he wanted me even as I told him that I already has someone. Well, we started to talk and it was really interesting until he starts to act like a hentai. I told him that he reminds me of an old friend who was a powerful monk and then it turned out that his family is a descendant of Miroku and Sango, my friends from the sengoku jidai. I was so happy that I met him by coincidence and we became friends. He is brash, blunt and very sarcastic if he wants to be but also very loyal and reliable to his friends.” She sighed. “My ‘friend’ Eri who had a crush on him doesn´t talk to me anymore. She yelled at me that I stole ‘her man’ deliberately because he looks so ‘hot’”. Kagome snorted. If Eri knew how hot Sesshoumaru is she would surely had a heart attack

“She is one of the girls that Kenji describes at annoying because she is still following him. And if there is something Kenji can´t stand than it is burdock. Let´s eat something, I´m starving”.

As they arrived at the café Yukina saw Keiko sitting alone at a table.Yukina told Kagome who she is and they went to her table. “Hello Keiko. This is Kagome a friend of mine and Kuwabara.” Keiko stood up and held her hand out “Hello Kagome, pleased to meet you”. Kagome shook her hand “Pleased to meet you to. Do you mind to share the table with us? The other tables are already occupied.” Keiko shook her head “No, not at all. Please take a seat.” Yukina and Kagome ordered and started to eat. The girls had a pleasant time and Kagome told Keiko about herself. As Keiko find out about the separation of Kagome and her ‘boyfriend’ Keikos mood changed. Kagome could feel the sadness in Keiko and asked her what was wrong. Keiko sighed “I had a big fight with Yusuke again and we broke up. This is not the first time that we did that.” Kagome looked at Keiko and said “I´m sorry but can it be that Yusuke is your first love?” Keiko noded and smiled “Yeah, we know each other since kindergarten. He is crude, violent, impatient and reckless but he has always protected me.”Kagome just thought for a moment ‘Ugh, why does that sounds so familiar? Then it dawned at her.

She looked to Keiko again with a sad smile “You know your describtion of Yusuke reminded me of my own first love, Inuyasha. The difference is that I looked like his first love and he had still feelings for her. It was really hard for me to live in her shadow until I finally managed it to let him go. We both were hurting too much. I was lucky that I fell in love again, it was his half-brother. Inuyasha didn´t like it at first but it changed when he saw how happy I was with him. He was my best friend and I wanted him to find a new love for his own. God knows he deserved it.” She paused for a moment “What I want to say is that a first love is just that, the first. It doesn´t mean that there will be no other. Believe me, I know how hard it is to let go but sometimes a love was not meant to be. You have to awaken to what you have with Yusuke and what you really want to have in a relationship. Please don´t misunderstand me. I don´t say you did the right thing. But sometimes it is more important to have a real friend and you´re getting very well along with than to have a boyfriend but it´s not working like it should be”.

All girls were quiet for a while, drinking their tea and thinking until Keiko broke the silence.”I think you´re right Kagome, I love Yusuke and I´m sure he does love me too but it´s not the kind of love I´ve always wanted. There is no longer any passion or the butterflies you should feel in your stomach when your boyfriend returns from his work after a long absence”. After another five minutes of silence Kagome said “You know what, my friend invited me to his night club this Saturday. I haven´t decided yet but if I go I want you to come with us. It´s time that you meet some hot guys, but I warn you, my friend Kenji is the greatest pervert that I know. I´m sure he will try to grope you”. Keiko laughed “Don´t worry, I´m used to perverts Yusuke had groped me often enough but I can defend myself. I had knocked him out a few times”. Yukina giggled “Yeah, Keiko is pretty strong for a girl”. Kagome lifted an eyebrow. ‘So, Yusuke was a pervert even if he didn´t looked like some’.

The girls sayed good bye to each other and Kagome returned with Yukina to Genkais temple.
