Chapter Six

Sesshomaru sat in his study once more pouring over the scrolls he and Inuyasha had brought down. He'd ordered the human girl to return to bed after retrieving them. His thoughts were in turmoil as far as she was concerned. Now he looked for a way to stop the two men that threatened his life. The book had stated he had been the first to perish but his father's mate had changed that once again. She had stopped them 300 years ago from taking revenge upon his father and today she had stopped them from killing him. What unnerved him more was the fact that his demon reacted to her smell. He would not lower himself to lust after his father's left overs. Especially human left overs.

Kagome had woken up when Rae returned to the room. "Whats going on?" She was then told of them finding the scrolls and that even now Sesshomaru was going over them. "Maybe he will find out what we need to know."

"Maybe, Kagome I sooo felt like kicking him back there. How can you put up with their attitudes and not want to choke them?"

"Well you kind of get used to it. Sesshomaru isn't as bad as Inuyasha so I can easily over look him. I don't think he is a bad as he lets on. After all he takes care of Rin and she's a human. Then again he does have that superior tone that tends to rub the wrong way." Kagome sat up in the bed. "Sorry, I dragged you into all this."

"You're forgiven. Well think of it this way if I wasn't here I'd be sitting home watching t.v., eating icecream that would go straight to my ass. Trying to let all this sink in, guess I was wrong about who's family crest was on that page." She rubbed the back of her neck.

"You could say that again. Imagine you were once here in this very castle and with their father. I've learned to live with the fact that I'm Kikyo's reincarnation. Can't imagine knowing that I was once getting busy with Inuyasha's dad." Kagome remembered the large remains she'd visited twice.

"Speaking of which. I got a good look at him in that vision. Wow, is all I can say girl. Puts them two sons of his to shame, trust me."

Kagome giggled, "Really, was he that cute?"

"Cute wasn't the word for what I saw. Inuyasha is cute I admit and well Sesshomaru is very nice to look at. Which is odd," she paused.

"Whats odd?" Kagome heard the pause and knew the girl stopped on purpose. "Come on, spill it. We are in this together aren't we?"

"Okay, I am suppose to be this girl's reincarnation and still bearing this guy's mark right. I saw myself in his arms and looked to be in love. I understand it was my former life, but am I suppose to still love him? I feel nothing when they speak of him even when I saw him I felt nothing. Except how hot he was it didn't phase me. But when his arrogant son comes around me I feel," she stopped deciding she'd said too much.

"You feel your pulse quicken, you get butterflies in your stomach and you wonder what it would be like to kiss him?" Kagome filled in for her.

"Yeah, something like that. I assume by that smile its how Inuyasha makes you feel so you are speaking from experience. If I still bear the mark then I shouldn't feel that way should I?"

"I don't know to be honest. I don't know a lot about demon mating marks. But speaking for myself I like to believe I am Kikyo's reincarnation. Then again I am Kagome, my own person, with my own set of feelings. I fell in love with Inuyasha on my own not because of any left over feelings from Kikyo. I believe its our lives that make us what we are. And who we are determines who we fall in love with. Just because you are her reincarnation doesn't mean you will have the same feelings and thoughts." Kagome hugged the girl trying to give her comfort.

"So I guess I shouldn't feel bad about wanting to grab his ass and find out if its as firm as it looks."

Kagome tried to picture that in her mind and broke out in laughter. "I could imagine the effect that would have on Sesshomaru. You might pull back a nub so I'd try to hold out on that impulse. Though he does have a nice ass. Please don't repeat that infront of Inuyasha whatever you do."

"Course not this is girl talk." Rae sat back in the bed grinning, "Have you ever stopped to compare the two?"

"Once or twice I'll admit." Kagome was enjoying the conversation, neither girl realised that someone had snuck in and was laying under the bed listening to every word. "Inuyasha has a nice ass not as nice as Sesshomaru's though."

"I'm willing to bet Sesshomaru's hair is softer also. He seems the type to fuss over it. Inuyasha has that 'I don't give a fuck' attitude. Bet both of them have washboard abs you wanna run your mouth down."

"I've seen Inuyasha's chest," Kagome blushed. "It's rather nice."

"Does he have a six-pack that isn't located in the fridge?"

"Yes, very nice. I've never seen Sesshomaru's though." Kagome thought she heard a giggle but decided that was impossible.

"So do you think Inuyasha will make you his mate?" Rae made Kagome blush at her next question. "Wonder what kind of lover demons would make? If I had to guess Inuyasha looks the type to slap it to you hard and fast. Sesshomaru looks like he'd be a lazy lover. Can't you just picture him laying there with his arms crossed letting the woman do all the work. 'Pleasure this Sesshomaru.'"

Kagome broke out laughing once more. "OH that is so true."

"He probably wouldn't go down on a woman either. He doesn't look like the type to eat pussy." She turned to Kagome. "Now Inuyasha on the other hand looks like the type that would do it."

Kagome tried not to put that image in her head. She had a hard time staying calm thinking about kissing him much less thinking about that. "What about size?"

"Hmm, if I had to guess Sesshomaru is probably average sized and Inuyasha probably has a little more than average. They both wear them baggie pants and demon's so I can't be sure."


They heard foot steps echoing through the hall and listening as they made their way to the door. Jaken's voice could be heard yelling in the background. "Rin! Where did she go."

The door opened and there stood Sesshomaru. He had heard the imp calling for his ward and he knew exactly where to find her. He was suprised to find both girls awake and sitting up in the bed. "Is Rin in here?"

A giggle was heard coming from underneath the bed. Kagome and Rae both groaned at the same time. She had heard their entire conversation. "Come out Rin. Return with Jaken to your room."

The little girl crawled her way from out under the bed with a big smile on her face. She ran up to Sesshomaru and paused. "Lord Sesshomaru, what is a luv-ver?" A look of complete shock crossed his face replacing the indifferent mask he usually wore. Before he could reply she continued. "The new lady said that my lord, looked like he was a lazy luv-ver."

"Did she now?"

She beamed a smile at him and nodded. "She also said you were probably average sized and didn't like to eat pussy. Silly, everyone knows Lord Sesshomaru is very tall and doesn't like to eat cats." Rin chuckled at his expression and ran to find Jaken.

Rae felt her face turn beet red when the girl made it all to obvious she'd heard everything they'd said. What was worse she was repeating it to the subject. She buried her face in her knees. "Tell me when he's gone."

Kagome could understand the girl's sudden interest in her knees. She herself felt like climbing under the covers hiding from his view. She heard the girl's comment and looked up to see him heading into the room. 'Oh shit.'

Sesshomaru gave Inuyasha's wench a glance, "Get out." She paused to look over at the girl which angered him. "I shall not repeat myself. This Sesshomaru suggests you run to my brother." Kagome gave her new friend a sympathetic look and ran out the door.

Rae heard him order Kagome to leave. She felt the weight leave the bed and held her breath. After several minutes nothing happened and she dared to hope that he left. She picked up her face as she heard the lock sound on the door. 'Did he just lock me in here?' Sure enough he was making his way back towards the bed and her. 'Maybe if I apologize he will leave me alone. It was worth a shot. But what could can I say? Sorry I commented on your sexuality.'

"Are you interested in what kind of lover this Sesshomaru would be?" He stopped beside the bed glaring down at her. Normally, he would be upset that someone had used that kind of talk in front of his ward. But he knew the girl would never had spoken such thoughts outloud knowing that the child was within hearing distance. He felt his blood rush knowing that the girl had tried to picture what kind of lover he would make.

"No, sorry you weren't meant to hear that." She gave him a smile hoping the apology would send him away. Instead she found herself pulled roughly to her knees facing him.

"I assumed as much," He watched her mouth part and brought his mouth down crushing his lips against hers.

She couldn't believe that he was actually kissing her. His lips crashed down on hers painfully at first then he let up softening the kiss causing her to close her eyes. She felt his tongue probe her lips seeking entrance into her mouth. She placed her hands against his chest to better support herself and returned the kiss. Every nerve in her body sang as she came in contact with his tongue. Their tongues dueled his demanding her to submit. She moaned and gave in to him. He removed his hands from her arms deciding she wasn't going to try and escape. He brought one up to cup the back of her neck keeping her mouth locked with his. The other wrapped around her waist bringing her closer to his body.

She brought her uninjured hand up to entwine in his hair. She'd been right, his hair was soft to the touch, almost as soft as silk. She moaned when she felt his hand make its way up her side to cup her breast.

"Do you wish to know what this Sesshomaru likes to do?" He brought his hand down releasing her breast. She couldn't answer, she'd lost her voice somewhere. Sesshomaru had started out to prove a point. It had angered him hearing that the girl was insulting his talents in bed without experiencing them for herself. He undid the strange contraption holding her shorts together and heard her intake of breath. He brought his lips down on hers once more. He slid his hand down into the cloth covering her womanhood. He felt his demon roar to life when his finger slid between her folds finding her wet, ready for him. Her arousal hit him full force and he growled knowing he would not be able stop. His lesson had backfired on him.

Rae felt his finger slide inside the place no one else had been allowed to touch. A moan tore from her throat as he began to pump his finger in and out of her. She was sure she heard a growl but her mind wasn't working either. The only thing that seemed to matter was the pleasure he was creating inside of her body. Heat began to pool in her abdomen driving her crazy. She felt something building, "Please." She wasn't sure if she was begging him to stop or to never stop. He brought his thumb up to stroke the jewel placed between her lips. He felt her orgasm hit her causing her walls to tighten around his finger. He withdrew his finger placing it in his mouth tasting her. She almost lost it again as she watched him clean the finger that was just inside her.

A loud banging sound cut through the room causing them to realise someone had been knocking on the door for several minutes. Inuyasha could be heard yelling at Sesshomaru to open the door. Kagome had obviously ran to get the hanyou fearing for her friend's safety.

Sesshomaru tried to calm his inner-demon down. It was demanding that he take the girl. He brought her close to him to whisper in her ear, "Be thankful for your friend's interruption or you would have found out what kind of lover this Sesshomaru makes." He released her and walked to the door. Opening it reveiled Inuyasha about to pound on it once again and a worried Kagome standing behind him.

"Bout damn time. What the hell do you think you were doing anyways? We need that girl alive." Inuyasha watched his brother walk out the room without saying a word his emotionless mask back in place.

Kagome ran into the room, "Are you okay?" She could see her friend shaking sitting on the bed.

"Yeah, can I have a few minutes alone please?" Kagome turned around pushing Inuyasha out giving her a few minutes alone.

She stood up on legs that were still shaking. Quickly buttoning up her shorts once more she willed her nerves to settle back down. Her heartbeat was vibrating in her ears causing a headache to slowly form. She sank back down on the bed willing herself to forget about what had almost occured.
