InuYasha Expresses his Feelings Part 1
“Kagome are you still grieving for Koga?”
A little annoyed because she has been grieving Koga a whole week.
“I’m just sorry he died without knowing what love is. I only cared for him as a friend.”
“Kagome, if he had asked you to uh…”
Kagome turned around on her heel.
“Don’t you even think it InuYasha! I may have loved Koga as a friend but I have respect. I would never just…ooh, you make me so mad sometimes InuYasha!”
InuYasha sat back on his haunches.
“I was just asking!…No need to bite my head off you know… Who would you give it too?”
“What’s with all these questions anyway InuYasha?”
“I just want to know that’s all, it’s just a conversation. I was just wondering if there was anyone.”
Kagome blushed; if InuYasha loved her would she give her virginity to him, would he appreciate that? She sighed.
“I would give it to the person I intend to marry of coarse.”
“Marriage?”
“Yes, marriage; did you not ever hear of that?”
“Yes, of coarse I did, it’s just that I don’t believe that my father married my mother, I don’t even know if my father was ever married.”
“Well, if you expect for me to ever think of doing anything with you InuYasha, you better think about making vows and giving me a ring to symbolize our union, because we are going to be forever!”
InuYasha looked at her strangely. He took her by the hand and held her to him.
“I already told you Kagome, I am never leaving you, you’re stuck with me. Promise that you won’t ever leave me. I never heard you promise me that.”
Kagome gasped, ‘he did promise to stay with me. He told me that when I had asked him why he didn’t run when Tsubaki had me under her spell. She tried to force me to kill him the same way Kikyo did. He said he was never going to leave me.’
“So, you’ve thought about mating with me Kagome?”
He said with a sly smile breaking her train of thought. Kagome looked at him. ‘There’s one way to break the mood.’
“Sit! Oh I forgot you no longer wear the beads. Sometimes I swear I could hate you! ”
Kagome went stalking off complaining under her breath.
“What’s wrong with Kagome InuYasha?”
Sango asked wide eyed. Miroku stepped beside her and tried his hardest not to put an arm around her.
“Oh, she’s just mad at me as usual. Hump, but I don’t care.”
“Oh.” They both said.
“By the way Miroku, you might want to cover that bruise on your neck.”
Sango turned purple with embarrassment and Miroku simply smiled and covered it with his gloved hand. InuYasha placed his hands on Miroku’s shoulders as he stood behind him, I already now about you two. I can smell her scent on you and you on her. But, you don’t have to worry about me spilling the beans. It’s Shippo you have to worry about. You know how he likes to talk.”
“How…How…” Was all Sango was able to get out. Even though she already knew how he knew. Miroku sighed.
“Damn your canine sense of smell.”
InuYasha started laughing. It was the first time they ever heard him actually laugh. Kagome was already on her way back when she heard him laughing. His laughter subconsciously put a smile on her face; she was coming up with Shippo in tow since he stopped her from her walk of rage.
“What’s so funny?” Kagome asked.
“Yeah, I want in on the joke, especially if it made InuYasha laugh.”
Shippo piped in.
Then he saw the love bite on Miroku, “hey what is that…”
InuYasha started laughing more. Miroku picked up Shippo and hit him upside the head like InuYasha does.
“Mind your business fox and keep your mouth closed.”
“That’s no fair, why is it that they know something but I don’t. Obviously their canine scents can tell them what’s going on. No fair tell me tell me!” Kagome wailed.
“I’ll tell her.” Sango said. “Miroku and I got married last night.”
Kagome with her feelings hurt asked, “Why wouldn’t you want for me to know?”
“We didn’t want anyone to know, we just didn’t want to make things harder or weird. We wanted for you and InuYasha to know that we can still be depended on. No matter what we both want to see Naraku dead and we don’t want to miss out on that.”
She looked up at Kagome, InuYasha and Shippo. Then she looked up at Miroku and held his hand. Miroku then picked up where she left off.
“We married because of what Koga had said.”
“Huh?”
“Yes, Koga died before experiencing love. I didn’t want to share in his fate, nor did Sango. If we are to die then we want to die with no regrets.”
“Who says that you are going to die, either one of you?”
Kagome asked sadness in her voice. InuYasha just stood there glowering at them.
“We don’t know what the outcome of this battle is going to be. We have a good chance of survival, but then again…”
“Humph, Well I am sure that I’m not losing this battle. Naraku is going to pay for all the hurt he’s put on everyone. I will go to hell and back to battle him.” He said boastfully.
Then Miroku responded to InuYasha. He looked down at the ground while he spoke.
“Well InuYasha, Koga had that same attitude and look where it got him, however, you might be able to go to hell and back, but we mortals can’t say the same. That is why we did what we did. I hope that we were able to make you understand.”
Kagome nodded her head. She understood perfectly well. Sometimes she had the same thoughts. What if she died at Naraku’s hand or that of any other demon and was never to see her family again, her friends or…InuYasha. However, she couldn’t make such a bold decision as Sango and Miroku. At least they came to terms with how they felt for one another. InuYasha does things one moment that make her feel loved, but then he’ll change and make her uncertain. That is usually when ever he thinks of Kikyo. Kagome’s depression became more intense.
Later that night when Shippo went to sleep and Miroku and Sango took off somewhere far enough from sight and sound Kagome was doing her homework. It was trigonometry she hated the lesson, the entire class, but it needed to be done. However, she couldn’t concentrate. She kept thinking about what Miroku and Sango said. She looked at InuYasha and noticed that he was looking at her with a far off expression.
“InuYasha what’s wrong? What are you thinking about?”
“I was thinking about us.”
He lept toward her without as much as a sound and squatted next to Kagome. He peered at her books trying to figure out what she was studying.
“Don’t bother trying to understand this stuff. It’s impossible.” Kagome huffed and closed the book.
“So, what were you thinking about?”
“You study too much, is it really important to you to finish school in your era?”
“I guess so; it’s kind of what we’re programmed to do. Make good grades and get into good schools. It would make my mom proud of me if I had a really good career.”
“Well, what do you want to do?”
“I don’t know to honestly tell you. I am so much happier here when I don’t have to think about stuff like that.”
“You’re happy destroying scary demons than being in your world where you have those exciting things like potato chips and T.V.?”
Kagome giggled.
“It’s not so much about the scary near death experiences InuYasha; it’s the company I keep. I want to stay close by you…and of coarse Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kilala and Kaede.”
She spilled out as she pointing her to fingers together in nervousness. She nearly slipped and told him that she enjoyed staying with just him. Not that she didn’t enjoy being with the others, but, she would miss InuYasha the most. She loved him. InuYasha lay down near to her and she absentmindedly began to pet his head and rub his ears. He truly enjoyed that. They sat quiet for a while.
“Kagome, some time ago, well, I used a shard to get into your dreams.”
“What? Why?”
“Because you always seem to have bad dreams. I was curious.” He looked up at her then while his head was in her lap. “You hate Kikyo don’t you?”
“I wouldn’t say that I hate her, I dislike her immensely you know, she did try to kill me and all. But, what I dislike the most is the fact that she wants to see you dead so that she can be at peace even though it’s not your fault.”
“So, you’re not jealous at all?”
“Were you jealous of Koga?”
“What? No!”
“Well, how you felt about me and Koga I feel about you and Kikyo how about that?”
InuYasha nodded his head. So, she is jealous. He lied about not being jealous of Koga and she knew it. He smiled.
“InuYasha, if I promised something would you do a favor for me?”
“Anything if it’ll make you stop crying. I hate seeing you cry. You’ve been crying a lot lately.”
Kagome had the answer she’s been hoping for. She took a deep breath and continued. She hoped that InuYasha would comply.
“I promise not to interfere again unless your life is in trouble, or if you’re not thinking straight. I don’t want to lose you InuYasha, and I am so afraid…”
InuYasha turned and cradled her in his embrace.
“Are you thinking about that punishment I gave you? I am sorry Kagome, I didn’t want to hurt you.”
“I’m not worried about that anymore, in fact, I enjoyed it.” She said with a blush across her face. “But, will you put the beads back on for me. You look different without them. I promise I won’t interfere again.”
“I will do it for you Kagome, had you been anyone else…”
“Yes…InuYasha what are you trying to tell me?”
InuYasha placed her hand on his chest. She felt his heart beating underneath.
“You know fifty years ago I thought I was to be alone forever. I was a half demon. No female demon would take me seriously and mortal women feared me. Then I met Kikyo. She had plenty of opportunities to kill me, but she didn’t for some reason. I started to follow her and watch her. She too was alone, being different from the others. Soon, we were falling in love. I thought I was going to live as a human with her forever until Naraku happened. Then you came along and set me free from my sleep. You with your weird ways unlocked many doors to such a cold untrusting heart. Because of you and your friendship I have now more than one friend and respect from humans and demons alike. I would give my soul for any one of you now, where as before it was just me. I had desired to be loved, and I desired to have friends and you gave me both.”
He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her. He’s been wanting to do that since her dream. However, it felt twenty times better for it was real. Her scent, her warmth tickled his skin. He kissed at her more hungrily; he started to nip at her lips with his fangs tenderly, lovingly but excitingly. Kagome heard a deep growl at the back of his throat as she tasted his sweet tongue. She closed her eyes and felt every sensation he passed on to her. He bit her softly behind her neck giving her momentary paralyses full of sensual pleasure.
She didn’t realize that he had removed her school uniform and was left bare. He looked down at her, his eyes molten gold as he lustily licked her body all the way down to her delicate part. He lapped at it making her moan in rapture.
He heard her purr at the back of her throat. He was trying with all his might to keep the animal within contained; she made it a difficult task but one he would relish in if it killed him. The taste of her heat was making him wilder. He sucked on her pulsating orb and nipped at it with his fangs tenderly. He could tell she was having difficulty breathing. InuYasha caressed with his fingers the inside of her as he watched her passionate face he could sense that she was near to her breaking point. He delved deeper within her recess and while he licked at her he tickled the fur of her femininity. When she spent her juices it made his heart expand with possessiveness for her. She was going wild as if he unlocked something within her. She bit into him and bit into him hard.
He smiled, ‘she’s ready.’ With one muscled arm he took both her hands into his and held her at her wrist holding her down. His free hand traveled the curves of her face, neck and body.
“I choose you Kagome, I love you.”
A little annoyed because she has been grieving Koga a whole week.
“I’m just sorry he died without knowing what love is. I only cared for him as a friend.”
