chapter 7
It all started with a Nameless Beauty

After tending to their wounds, she left as quickly as possible towards the woods, trying to avoid encountering Youko ever again.
(Personally I think Kagome is too nice ^_^ I’m just cruel… muhaha!)

~~~Chapter 7~~~
After trekking through the forest for several hours, Kagome picked up a few scents and sounds. She silently jumped to the trees and hopped from branch to branch until reaching where the sounds were coming from. Just as she reached her destination, she saw a girl below her scream, “Hentai!” (Much like she did earlier with a certain kitsune) and slap a familiar someone, while a little kitsune cub and fire cat youkai watched from the sidelines sighing and nodding their heads from left to right.
Kagome rolled over laughing, bringing the attention from them to her. The three tilted there heads up, and saw her, recognizing her as a demon. Sango, already with her weapon already out, swung hiraikotsu towards the branch she was perched on and sliced it off.
Kagome finally remembered that they didn’t recognize her as a hanyou, so she tried to run out of reach from them. She leapt further from them, fearing being sliced in two, but with Sango on Kirara’s back following closely behind, and Miroku and Shippou a little further behind. Coming upon a clearing with no more trees to protect her, Kagome came down from the branches, doing a flip and landing in front of Kirara with her hands up with peace signs in both hands. “I come one peace,” Kagome said, “Sango.”
“How do you know me?” Sango asked in surprise.
“How can I not?”
“Stop playing games with me, youkai!”
“Ok! Ok! No need to get violent. It’s me Sango. Kagome!” she said with a smile on her face.
“Kagome?” she stared in disbelief, climbing off of Kirara, but then finally seeing the resemblance, “Is that really you? What happened?”
Kagome leapt into Sango and gave her a HUGE hug, “Nothing much, just changed into an inu-hanyou by a flower. How about y--- HENTAI!!!” She whipped around and smacked the owner of the hand’s face.
There stood Miroku, with his traditional red handprint on the cheek, smiling with a glint in his eye. He took up her hands and began his oh-so-famous line, “Will you please bear my child?” “Miroku-sama, you already asked me once and my answer is still the same.” Miroku stared in confusion, “Excuse me, but have we met before?”
“Didn’t you hear what she JUST said, Houshi-sama?” Sango butted in.
“But Sango, I was too far behind to hear anything. When I reached this area, I found you two embracing, no words exchanged.”
“Ugh,” Sango sighed, “It’s Kagome-chan!”
“Eh?” Miroku stared with doubt. “But this youkai’s body is fuller,” he said while holding out both of his hands skimming Kagome’s hourglass figure, emphasizing his point.
“HENTAI!!!” the girls shouted simultaneously, both slapping him again, giving him identical handprints on each side of his face.
“Miroku-sama,” Kagome started, “it’s me, Kagome from the future, the bone eater’s well. Can’t you tell? I think the transformation from human to hanyou changed my figure as a side effect. But other than the looks and enhanced senses, I’m the same old Kagome!”
After the information processed through their heads, Shippou finally popped out from the bushes and stared at Kagome. “Kagome!” He leapt into her arms and pulled her into a tight hug. “I missed you!” he cried. “Shippou? You still recognize me?” Kagome asked. “Of course! You still smell the same, like jasmine.” “And you Shippou, smell like the forest and like a fox. Do all youkai have a certain scent?” Shippou nodded and snuggled into his mother figure, resting his eyes.
They all decided to rest a bit and catch up on all that has happened. Sango and Miroku learning about Kagome’s transformation and Kaede looking for a cure, and Kagome finding out that Inuyasha was with them to search for a jewel shard, but then split up because “something” came up.
The sun was setting and night would soon follow. Miroku and Sango set up camp, while Kagome volunteered to go hunt since she didn’t have ramen with her. She left Shippou at camp and set off into the denser part of the woods hoping to find a boar or deer.
She quietly sat in a well-hidden area, waiting for something to show up in her field of vision. She only had to wait about 5 minutes before she heard a rustle to her right.

I’m SOOO sorry that I didn’t write that much… but I had some writer’s block. I’m trying my best to write more, but I can only write on weekends now… I don’t think have much time on weekdays with school and all. Well, keep reading and happy holidays!
What do you think? Any ideas? Want the Urameshi group in the future? Should I make Suichi Minamino and Kagome Higurashi meet in the future and have Youko recognize her from his past? Please tell!
