xx CHAPTER 7 xx LEAVING LOVE xx
The next day Kikyou woke up next to Inuyasha, she looked at him sleep, he had been crying, his arms were still around her tightly, "Kikyou... please don't go..." he whispered.
"Inuyasha... gomen... I have no choice..."
She sighed, and kissed him, waking him up, he startled and it only deepened her kiss. He moaned into her mouth just as she had parted his lips. She withdrew, knowing it could only go so far today. She got up, leaving him laying alone, and motioned for him to follow her downstairs.
He made her some tea and they sat in the kitchen together, Kikyou didn't drink her tea, just stirred it with her spoon. Sesshoumaru and InuTaishou came down from their rooms to have breakfast, Sesshoumaru looked flustered as well, and Kikyou guessed that he was crying too.
"I don't want anybody to be sad..." she sighed, "You all have things to do..."
"But Kikyou..." said Sesshoumaru at last, "What about school? The band? What about... Inuyasha?"
So he did care, not just for himself, but he had finally come to realize Inuyasha's deep attachment to her.
"Just don't forget me... you can call me, and we could... meet somewhere... someday... maybe..."
With each passing word it felt more unlikely that she would ever see the Takizawa family again. She her tea quickly and put away her mug. She hugged Inuyasha and then she, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru walked back to her house.

Kikyou looked over the sad faces of her family, dried tears stained their faces, and even her uncle seemed quiet. She went upstairs to her room and packed up the last of her things.
"Kikyou..." said Inuyasha, coming closer to her. "I want you to have this."
Kikyou looked down at a small package, just wrapped in brown paper. She pulled at the edge and saw red fabric, she pulled it out. It was the red Blink-182 t-shirt that Inuyasha had worn the day the met. She cried, holding the shirt to her face, drinking in the warm smell of Inuyasha. He hugged her tightly, trying to comfort her, when behind closed doors, hearts were breaking.
"I will see you again Kikyou. You never lose your soulmate."
"Promise me... that you'll start the band again, go on a tour in Tokyo. I'll be there..." she breathed, kissing him gently.
"I promise Kikyou... let's go."

Everything was packed and Kikyou was the only one not already in the van. She sighed heavily, and tried to hold back the hot tears that threatened her. She jumped toward Inuyasha for one last embrace. She kissed him and they both were crying, she withdrew and held her arms around his neck.
"I'll always love you Inuyasha... koibito's itsumo..."
"I love you too Kikyou... koibito's itsumo..."
Kikyou left his arms and then went to Sesshoumaru, she hugged him too and he almost didn't want to let go. She kissed him once on the cheek and then, giving Inuyasha one last kiss, got slowly into the van. She looked back through the windsheild as the car slowly drove away.
She waved slowly, sadly and watched until Inuyasha was out of sight. She still kept watching the street as it faded away. A wave of sadness came over her. Remebering all the times she'd had with Inuyasha. He was her first, and he would be her only. Koibito's itsumo... lovers always.
"How long until we get there?" she sighed.
"It'll be a whilee." said her mother, sounding the most happiest of all.
"Kay... wake me up when we get there..."

They stopped at a sign that said, "Kamiyacho Station." Kikyou looked up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She saw for the first time, the beautiful Tokyo Tower. She smiled almost to be able to brag to Inuyasha that she lived by the Tokyo Tower. But then she had made herself sad for remembering him.
"Here we are..." said her mother.
It was a large apartment bulding and they had bought tho whole thing, Kikyou had aready lay claim to the top floor, maening she got the fire escape and the roof hatch. Though Miroku would be sharing part of the third floor, he had his own room. Kikyou slipped the Blink-182 t-shirt over her head, and smoothed down the fabric.
"I miss you." she whispered the the sky.

Inuyasha had stood by the driveway all day, he looked back at the empty house that Kikyou used to live in. Then he slowly trudged along the sidewalk. He kept going until he reached downtown. He sat down slumped against the building and hung his head.
"Why did this have to happen. My kami why? Dammit!"
He trudged back home and lay in his bed, looking next to him and seeing that Kikyou wasn't there. He played his radio as loud as it would go, playing "Too Bad" by Nickelback. It fir his situation perfectly. And he cried while screaming the lyrics.
"Fathers hands were lined with dirt,
From long days in the field,
And mothers hands are serving meals,
In a cafe on Main Street,
With mouths to feed,
Just trying to keep clothing on our backs
And all I hear about, is how it's so bad, it's so bad,
It's too bad, It's stupid,
Too late, so wrong, so long...
It's too bad that we had no time to rewind,
Let's walk, let's talk.
You left without saying goodbye,
Although I'm sure you tried,
You call the house from time to time,
To make sure we're alive,
But you weren't there,
Right when I'm needed you the most,
And now I dream about it,
And how it's so bad, it's so bad,
It's too bad, It's stupid,
Too late, so wrong, so long...
It's too bad that we had no time to rewind,
Let's walk, let's talk...
It's too bad, It's stupid,
Too late, so wrong, so long...
It's too bad that we had no time to rewind,
Let's walk, let's talk..."
He put it on repeat and fell asleep to it. Letting the music affect his dreams.

It took days to unpack everything. Kikyou had barely said a word since they got there, she sat out on the roof every night and thought about him. Thought about Inuyasha.
"Please, oh kami! Please come back! For fucking out loud! PLEASE!" she yelled.
As it started to rain she heard a song. Somehow it was inside of her, she couldn't stop it. It resonated from her heart and she thought of him. How it was too bad that they had no time to rewind it all... It was all just too bad...
"It's too bad, It's stupid
Too late, so wrong, so long
It's too bad that we had no time to rewind
Let's walk, let's talk..."
It continued to play within her until she fell asleep beneath her warm sheets.
Kikyou moved uneasily around beneath her sheets, she rolled over and looked out the window beside her bed, she felt the rumble of the subway beneath the house, she moaned and tried to sleep. The stars were unusually bright tonight and she couldn't help but watch as a meteor shower took place. She took a deep breath and made her wish.
"Please come back Inuyasha." she repeated again and again.
She started to cry again, slipping deeper into depression with each tear and memory.
"It's too bad we had no time to rewind..." she cried.
Wiping her tears with her blanket and clutching the red stitched logo on her shirt. She wouldn't take it off, not yet.
"Dammit, school tomorrow too..." she sighed, feeling alittle better than before. "This had better be worth it, or else I'll runaway."
