After glancing around and not being able to find anyone to have caused such a commotion, Bankotsu turned his attention back to Jakotsu. "Where are they?" he questioned concerned as he gave his companion a once over to make sure he hadn't been hurt.
"They are gone for now," Jakotsu explained, gesturing in the direction they had disappeared in. Though he couldn't wait to hear what had kept him away, he was glad to at least know Bankotsu hadn't been harmed in his absence.
"Sorry it took me so long to get out here. I was bathing out back," Bankotsu apologized as he helped Jakotsu carry the supplies inside.
"It's alright. You'll get your chance to make up for that tonight. Go finish getting dressed before you get cold, or I get hot," Jakotsu half joked as he checked out Bankotsu's well toned chest that had drops of water sensually raining down it. "And I'll fill you in on the rest when you get back."
After watching him walk away for a moment, Jakotsu made his way inside and went to put away the supplies he had purchased only to realize the cabinets were rather dusty and not really suitable for holding anything at the moment other than more dust. Blowing a breath of air toward his bangs in annoyance, Jakotsu set everything down on the table to be dealt with later.
Grabbing his mother's old sewing scissors off of a nearby sewing kit, Jakotsu quickly cut off a small square of the cloth and dipped it into a bucket of water that was sitting on the table. Apparently Bankotsu had brought it in when he had been in town. Wringing out the extra water, Jakotsu made his way to the lowest shelf on the bottom cabinet and quickly worked to remove the years of dust from it. Though it wasn't perfect, it would have to do for now and making a mental note to give it a good scrubbing later, Jakotsu tossed all of the supplies, besides the bolt of cloth, onto it.
Hearing the door open behind him, Jakotsu stood up and turned around to find Bankotsu walking inside with his hair still down; wringing out the extra water. For a moment, he couldn't help but stare at the vision before him; though he was not completely dressed, he was still a sight to see with long, wet tresses falling over one shoulder, his brows furrowed in annoyance as his fingers got caught in a tangle, lips pressed in a tight line to prevent whatever he wanted to call the obstruction from being said.
Shaking his head, Jakotsu reminded himself that this was simply the calm before the storm and he did not have time to fantasize about what he wanted to do with those lips or how his hair would feel when he ran his own fingers though it.
