Sesshoumaru stormed into the master bedroom and tore off his tie that seemed to have gotten tighter around his neck. His silver locks blew about him as his youkai raged deep within. It was causing his powers to stir around him, in a self made magnetically charged wind. In frustration, Sesshoumaru ripped off his shirt due to his limited patience. Button’s flew in all direction of the room when the phone rang…
“Hello.” Sesshoumaru answered in a frigid cold tone that would freeze blood. While making his way to the phone he almost pulled the phone off the wall just trying to answer it.
“I got the money.” Inuyasha mumbled out as he was taken aback at his brother artic voice. He could literally feel the frost bite coming over the phone.
“Good. Wire it to a general account I have set up, then when the stock market opens we will buy out Naraku’s stock.” The tension in Sesshoumaru’s back was building. He didn’t want to talk to Inuyasha right now, for he was the subject, or object of Kagome and his fight.
“He going to know that we are trying buy his stock. Your name, hell, even my name on the general account would be enough for his company to deny the sale right then.” Inuyasha stated, trying to get a feel on his older brother’s temper.
“No, the general account is under another name.” Sesshoumaru said shortly. “One that wouldn’t raise any red flags.” he answered confidently. He was shedding his clothes as he talked with Inuyasha, a shirt here, belt there, and shoes over somewhere by the entrance of the doorway. Sesshoumaru felt constricted in the business suite that he wore, so he put on a silk robe, and gazed passively out the window while listening to his brother grill him about their plan.
“Then whose name is on the account then?” Inuyasha bellowed. He could feel is blood pressure rising with Sesshoumaru’s cryptic answers.
“Why, little brother, are you worried?”
“Hell, yes I am. Three million dollar isn’t chump change you know!!!”
Sesshomaru pulled the phone away from as Inuyasha yelled angrily into it.
“Don’t make me ask again Sesshoumaru! Just who the hell is on the account and don’t pussy foot around the issue!”

There was that blessed pause when the whole world seemed to stop, but it didn‘t last long. “What the hell! Are you insane you jack ass? Your putting my niece’s name on the account! That is like signing her death warrant you bastard!!!”
“Watch your tongue you incompetence, half wit of a half demon. If you think that I would endanger my daughter you are injudicious! When I adopted Rin, she never inherited our last name, brother, and much to contrary opinion no one knows that! It’s best that way! Let them think of her as Rin Masurau! No one will think twice when the offer come in under the name of Renee Koasan.” Then his tone diminished into a stony silence for quite sometime waiting for Inuyasha’s next outburst. Kagome luckily pulled into Lake Cabassus’s dirt parking lot just before the BMW sputtered, groaned, and then died on her. It was then that she looked at the gas gauge and realized that the car ran out of gas. ‘Great! Just great! So much for Sesshomaru not noticing that I’m gone! Damn it!’ Kagome cursed her ill luck again. ‘I’d didn’t bring anything with me either! No cell phone, no wallet, no money, no service! She added that last part sarcastically.
“Oh well Kags, better enjoy the scenery while you can! Because there will be hell to pay for this when Sesshoumaru comes for you.” She said out loud as she got out of the car and walked along the maintained path way that led to the lake side.
Sesshomaru talked with Inuyasha for 20 minutes more before he decided to end the conversation. “I will call you later half-breed.” Then he hung up the phone. Sesshomaru stormed out of the study back to his bedroom to put on different clothing so that he could retrieve his way ward wife. ‘She foolishly goes out and leaves the safety of the estate knowing full well that she is in danger!’

It loitered there, tantalizing his senses, mocking him for being such an arrogant ass with her. Sesshoumaru could almost feel her desperation to leaving, to get a way for a while. He felt no sympathy right at the moment. His eyes went to the key rack and found that the BMW convertible was missing. ‘Running away so fast Kagome? I can’t let you go just yet. You’ve yet to give me a child.’ He thought darkly, but in the depth of his heart he knew that he would never let her go.

Her flip flops were crunching the grass and fallen leaves of the earth. Than, after that she would have him put her name on the will and then kill him. Well, Kikyou wasn’t thinking that she would kill him right away on there honeymoon, or a little after that. No, Inuyasha was good in bed and she did want one last go at him before she sent him to hell.
Naraku watched Kikyou leave him fifteen minutes ago, but ever since then he had been deep in thought. He dressed in a traditional haori, of the days of old. He sat back in his chair and thought about his plan for the complete desecration of the Masurau family line. One memory in particular haunted him the most. It was of InuTaisho’s first wife Cassandra, the now Lord of the Western Lands mother. She was a raving beauty with haunting eyes as deep blue as the sky, and lips as red as a rose. Her appearance was to envy, or kill for. She was certainly the target of many women’s’ covetous thoughts. Cassandra had fair skin as flawless as the winter snow and long blonde hair that shamed the golden rays of the sun. Cassandra was of the great Inuyoukai decent and had captivated the hearts of many a men and demons alike, and all wanted her, but only one had her heart. To bad that decision killed her in the end. Yes, Naraku remembered her all to well. Cassandra dared to deny him so he killed her. InuTaisho had left his wife unprotected when he went on a business trip to the States. Leaving her and there then three year old son, Sesshomaru, all alone.

Blue eyes watched as a playful, carefree little boy with angelic features romped through the garden estate unaware of the danger soon to come.
As the fog of the early morning rushed in like solders charging into battle. It soon covered the grand garden estate of the Western lands. She smiled at her son, as he chases a monarch butterfly that dare landed and touch this, Sesshomaru's nose. Its fluttering wings seemed to portrait her laughter at her son, as he ran to catch the winged creature in the distance.
Scarlet eyes narrowed in malice at the beautiful Inuyoukai demoness. His hand flicked at the wrist, in a silent command for his poison gas to enclose the little boy running in the field of wild flowers.
Cassandra's eyes widened in fear at the sight of the purplish black poison ensnared her son in a vortex. His cries for help clawed at her heart tearing it into ribbons.
"MOMMY!!!! Mommy!!!! Help me! I can't see you anymore." *Cough- cough* "Mommy it hurts to breath!"
"Sesshy baby! Mommy is coming!" Her youkai demon boiled as she transformed into her majestic form. Cassandra lunged at the miasma. Her razored paws swiped the purple poison released a antitoxic that neutralized the venomous cloud. She landed next to her son who was unconscious on the damp ground. Fear seized her as she returned to her humanoid form.

"Bravo Cassandra! You managed to save your son, but will you be able to save yourself?" Naraku stepped out from the shrubs of the foliage. A smirk came to him, as Cassandra growled at him.
"Bastard! You will die for your foolish attempts...”

Cassandra uttered words of prayer to kami to protect her son. Her lips kissed the top of his ruffled silver hair. She whispered the words she wished he could hear. "Mommy loves her little boy. Don't forget that." Cassandra placed Sesshoumaru's sleeping body down before she rose up to her feet. She faced the monster that haunted her for years now. "Let's finish it now!"

'Yes, I will bring down the great Inuyoukai clan once and for all.' He thought as his fingers tied the strand of black hair around the carving. Naraku let his thought focus on his new obsession. 'Kagome.' He said with languish. 'Time to put you to the test.'
